07/03/2025: Fantastic service experience. My wife and I ordered two different pasta dishes. My paglia e fieno tasted heavenly, while my wife's linguine aglig scampi was with chili and turned out to be too spicy for her taste. She mentioned this to the sweet waiter when she came by our table a little while into the meal to ask if everything was as it should be. And even though my wife made it very clear that it was in no way the restaurant's fault and therefore not their problem, the waiter insisted that my wife should of course have some food. Without charge, she therefore came shortly after with a basket of extra bread, a bowl of olives, a bowl of bruschetta and a delicious antipasti sandwich with Parma ham. As I said, without adding so much as a penny to our bill. That's what I call fantastic service! Funnily enough, our most recent visit to Aalborg also included a visit to an Italian restaurant (I won't write the name). Here, four adults and two children ended up leaving the restaurant with an accusation from the head waiter that one adult had been served one glass of red wine more than was the case (and we wanted to pay for it). The alleged waiter wanted to review the footage from the surveillance cameras after closing time and send me a link with his "evidence" of the stolen glass of red wine. Funny enough, we never heard anything - but can now confirm that Italian restaurants in Aalborg embrace the full range of service experiences. So once again: Hurray for Azzurra in Nordkraft and a huge recommendation from here.

25/01/2025: Bruschetta was with a lot of onion overpowering the tomatoe. Pizza was baked dry and very tough. The menu didn’t mention that The pasta dish had a tomatoe sauce! We ran out of drinks and had to call the waiter

08/12/2024: This was our second visit to EMIL - and still can't put a finger on the food, absolutely value for money. Service, on the other hand, is very young and untrained, and it is quite clear that explanations about food and wine are learned parrot talk. We ordered Store Emil with a wine menu. The recommendation is to skip the wine menu and buy glasses or bottles from the menu. What does a glass of beer do in a wine menu? And a natural wine with such a special (unpleasant) smell and taste that even the waiter told us that it 'often split the waters' - so change it! The story of recycling cutlery is still the same - we want to save water and protect the environment.... Why do you have such small towels in the toilets that have to be washed after each person?? The music may not be suitable for a fish restaurant, but it is nice that Minds Of 99's EMIL runs in rotation, and is played four or five times during the evening. The conclusion is - Good and nice food, polite but untrained staff, overpriced and weak wine menu... so it will probably be a while before we try again.

04/12/2024: Super good restaurant experience! When you take the raw price of seafood into account, I think 550 for the large menu is an extremely fair price. One small thing I want to highlight that matters to me: there was plenty of butter for the bread! 😄 I have rarely left a restaurant as full as here - it usually takes a lot. As several others point out, a low-hanging fruit compared to improvement would be to replace the cutlery, either with each new dish or once in a while along the way. Personally, it doesn't mean much to me - and it might mean a higher price, as it requires a little extra to have to change at all the tables all the time. Now I don't know if the place is even interested in Michelin stars, but it is undoubtedly something that will drag down such, any aspirations, which if so is a bit of a shame, because in my eyes the food is very close to the level of 1-star restaurants. But that does not change the fact that it is a highly recommendable restaurant that is clearly among the best in town!

27/01/2025: Experienced it very strange to be turned away at the door because they were fully booked - despite us having booked a table in advance. The explanation was that they had sent an email with the cancellation only that morning, as apparently they are the first to discover that it is fully booked (the booking was made on Thursday and this takes place on Saturday morning). Incidentally, this email has not arrived either - and also not a particularly optimal method of communication with such a short time to arrive. For good reasons, I therefore cannot rate the rest of the experience we thought we were going to have, and will not do so again. If it was possible to give zero stars, I would of course have done so. So be careful, even if you think you have a booking, there is no guarantee of getting a table!

15/02/2025: Visited the place for lunch on Valentines Day. Really cozy decor and atmosphere. The waiter was super welcoming and friendly, but didn't know much about either food or wine. We ordered starfish and unfortunately it was poor quality fish and prawns. It was clear that nothing was fresh. Would not come again.

25/08/2024: A very nice campsite on the Baltic Sea. We would classify this campsite as a smaller site. However, it does have a very nice and relatively new heated outdoor pool (water temperature 26 degrees Celsius) with a very large slide. This was the deciding factor for choosing this site with two children (4 and 7 years old). The sandy beach is within walking distance from every pitch. You can use the direct sandy beach, but also the sandy beach below or above. We preferred the one slightly above. The walk could have been 3 minutes longer. We had pitch 152 near the sanitary building. Highly recommended, as it makes the walk to the toilets and the outdoor pool relatively short. The kitchen with stoves, ovens, and seating is very attractive. Travelers with tents enjoyed using it for breakfast/dinner (hot/dry).

08/03/2025: A good small assortment, we booked a table in advance, there were a lot of people because of the March 8th holiday. The order included 4 drinks: gin tonic, majito, white Russian and beer. You could only drink beer! Unfortunately, only the names remain from the other cocktails.

28/01/2025: Nice bakery with lots of delicious bread and delicious cakes. Fantastic service both from the day-to-day staff but also at a higher level! Had ordered a cake man, but was stranded in kbh because canceled flight. I called as quickly as I could to explain my situation and ordered a new one for the next day, fully prepared to pay for both, but when I arrived the next day I was only billed for one.

08/03/2025: Quite cozy place. The food isn't fantastic, but it's fine if you want to find somewhere in the middle and have something to eat with a focus on the beers.

07/03/2025: At DKK 175 for the "Bryggeren's burger", I think you can and should do better. In any case, the burger is better elsewhere in the city, the steak seemed to be a frozen product and not freshly ground beef, and in addition it was not seasoned. The fries are nothing to write home about either. Those I was with who got steak sandwiches seemed very disappointed by the amount of sauce.. Yes, you can say something on the day, but when the food is otherwise edible, and you are not asked by the waiter if everything is ok, then it must come as considerations on the backlog. On a positive note, however, the milkshakes are extremely excellent.
