13/09/2025: We have been there 3 times and unfortunately do not have a particularly good impression of the place. All times we have come to the table that was not cleared. About a third of the tables were not cleared. The staff seems like they do not care about how the restaurant looks. The food is not quite as expected and tasteless. The view is ruined by a transverse crack in the windows which is right on the horizon so you cannot enjoy the otherwise lovely view
09/09/2025: Me and my friend ordered a cofee and a wafle and we waited 50 minutes for the order to arrive. Apparently they forgot about our order.

19/10/2025: Lovely Mexican food with delicious guacamole and salsa. The only thing that could have been better was the small corn cobs, which were unfortunately soft instead of crispy and boring in taste.
The service was top notch. Very polite service and both food and drinks came relatively quickly.
They asked if you were satisfied with what was served, and if you wanted coffee or dessert afterwards.
The atmosphere was super cozy with pictures and paintings from Mexico on the walls..It was also decorated cozy and on several levels.
Definitely a place that can withstand multiple visits, if you, like me, like Mexican and a little spicy food.☺

Orø is fantastic!
BUT it's honestly too bad that TV2 is not available on the TV nor at the inn itself. We had to watch the international match on our mobile...
The breakfast was delicious!
13/09/2025: I was at Orø Kro with my old father, where we had a classic minced steak with fried eggs. The food was really good, and we both left full and satisfied. The service was top notch – a young woman welcomed us with a big smile and even opened 8 minutes early, just for us. It made the experience extra cozy and personal. We can highly recommend Orø Kro to others visiting the island.

The vegetables were not clean.
The staff were nice enough but inexperienced and therefore unsure especially when such problems arise.

20/07/2025: The absolute best baker in the area. The bread is delicious and tastes like something. I always buy my bread there and yesterday I bought their strawberry pie which was definitely worth the 125 kr. Always good service, always friendly and with a smile on their face despite the hustle and bustle, a lovely place to come hence the 5 stars 🙌🙌🥰🥰

12/07/2025: It was one of the best salads I've ever tasted. It's completely fresh and the ingredients fit together perfectly and there's enough to make you feel really full and have a lot of energy. I'll do that more often. The fries were also in the cupboard. On top of all that, the prices are reasonable. I feel like I've found the perfect place for me.

26/09/2025: Delicious food and good service. However, very cold in the room so remember a warm sweater. Nothing was missing - other than the room missing a loving renovation so that all the heat doesn't go out. You get really good sushi for the money
19/09/2025: A really nice Chinese buffet with Mongolian BBQ, sushi, rice, sweet and sour dishes and various dishes from the magic pot.
Surprisingly good.

10/09/2025: Just been in to eat and it seems like you're a nuisance if you joke about the dishes and if you're a little hard of hearing you're labeled as aggressive but speak a little louder than others and were pretty much not wanted in the restaurant

Top service, and very nice to talk to the owners and get a cool story about the beautiful iron sculptures.
Highly recommend the place.
