25/07/2025: Very interesting museum because the place is as it was when the owner died. An insight into a special and luxurious rich man's home. Definitely worth a visit!

07/08/2025: We chose Restaurant Mågen when we had to find a place to have lunch during our holiday in Assens. It is located down by the water, southern Little Belt. It is a restaurant that can accommodate a lot of guests and has many different places to sit and enjoy the food. You can sit outside at the entrance, inside in a large room with large windows facing the water and in a slightly larger room that is a little more secluded. But here too you can enjoy the view. Then there is a larger courtyard with a number of tables also facing the water and a whole section with delicious lounge furniture. I think it is used a lot in the evening when the big grills are fired up. It is bright and airy inside. It was well attended. There is a large Marina and mobile home department in the area so I think that does something to the visits. We chose a table out in the courtyard and could see the water as part of the pleasure. The waitress was friendly, smiling and present even though you could see that she was busy. We chose the always good Søbogård Hyldeblomst om Kromandends burger which was part of a smaller lunch selection. Including open sandwiches, starbursts and Paris steak. It was a deliciously tasty burger with crispy fries and chili mayo. Not exactly gourmet but very suitable for a lunch dish. The portion was so generous that we had to leave a little. All in all a good experience. Can definitely be recommended. Take a walk afterwards down to the pier with the little lighthouse and smell the sea. It's balm for the soul.

26/08/2025: Really delicious coffee varieties at McCafé. And with the use of two parking spaces, I could even park my car and caravan.

25/08/2025: Bought hot cocoa with soft ice cream, the lid was put on so the ice cream was stuck in the lid, no spoon to eat and stir, so all the cocoa was at the bottom,

16/03/2025: Really bad experience. Ordered two pitas, one with kebab and one with chicken. Arrive and find out my order has been given to another person. Next, they start making my order and I am told that five minutes will pass and my order will be ready. I am then offered a soft drink, from a fridge which is open and where other food items are stored and where there is a dressing that drips onto the soft drinks. I refuse the soda. When I get my order, one pita has turned into durum and the one who was supposed to have chicken had never seen the shadow of a feather, let alone a chicken. It looked like some cheap parody of something that might have been bacon. Add 🤢🤮 and the worst thing was that on the spot they would not acknowledge or accept that they had made a mistake. And on top of that they demanded full price for what they had done, but I refused to do that. And besides, they had their display hidden. It's the checkout display I'm talking about, the one that shows what you have to pay. And they have that because they want to cheat someone if they can get away with it. By saying a right price than it is in reality. Never again if I buy food there 🤢🤮😡🤬

28/07/2025: OK sushi. A little too soft rice for my taste. Not the best sushi I've had, but certainly not bad either.

01/08/2025: Small and expensive. Okay if you are desperate for something to do but the legeland is basic and not much bigger than a McDonald's play area. Staff were not helpful or welcoming!

20/04/2025: We were passing through from Germany to Sweden and were looking for somewhere near the highway where we could grab a bite to eat. The pizzas were great, freshly made in the wood-fired oven, the base was fluffy and crispy at the same time, the salami was very tasty. My daughter and I had quattro formaggi and the cheese was really great, richly topped! The people there were very warm and nice, pizzas were about the same price as in Germany.

13/04/2025: The pizza was really good and very reasonably priced, the level of service was above expectations as you got a bad impression when you step into the pizzeria, can recommend the place.
