24/08/2025: Where should I start. Maybe I would have liked the Coffee or the food but I didn't even got that far. We entered the Shop to ask if we can sit outside. Anwer was "If there is a free table". This should have been the first hint. After waiting for over 20 min we asked one of the employees if we could get a menu. Answer: "we don't have a menu you have to come inside" This wouldn't bother me at all, if that is the concept of the store fine for me I can get my coffee at the counter. But in the first place why didn't they tell us when we were inside that we need to order at the counter and second together with us others arrived they got some kind of menu at least to select what they would like to order. Felt like the two girls working there shouldn't work in the service sector and it felt a bit that we got a special treatment as foreigners. Will definetly not come back!

29/09/2025: I'll only review the restaurant. The food was surprisingly delicious, and I had a good glass of wine. The atmosphere takes us back in time. I had a wonderful time here, and I plan to return.

10/09/2025: Fantastic food both the meat but also the buffet. So much variation that there is always something for everyone. Service top notch, all smiles and efficient. In one word top and can certainly recommend.

10/05/2025: just wanted to go in and enjoy a good beer, it says that they close at 02 but we came at 0030 we bought a good beer please just sit down as they then come at 0050 and say that they close in 10 minutes we have to swallow our beer I thought it was simply not right so you shouldn't write that you close at 02

04/09/2025: Anyone who enjoys a beautiful location and good food can come here. Here, you can eat together with friends, despite different tastes. But the ajoli sauce from the Bürgerladen is the best.

16/08/2025: A really bad food experience. The fried shrimp were raw. The lamb skewer tasted like rubber and the beef skewer was inedible. They get one star for the eggplant...it was fine. The sushi must be the worst in Esbjerg, and I've tried a few different ones.
