28/10/2025: Is a cozy place, with a beautiful interior, you are always welcomed nicely, by fresh young people, who very quickly find a table, and are given a menu card, with any comments on the food, if you have questions. The place is known for their pizzas, but they can certainly also make a good steak, have never had food here that was not okay. They offer Italian draft beer, it is probably worth trying, many different flavors.

15/12/2025: Great place to go and eat, have been there several times now for both brunch and dinner and can only recommend it, the prices are probably on the high end but the food is fantastic and you leave feeling full, which is important when the prices are what they are.

28/10/2025: A really nice place for a cup of coffee and a quiet moment. Enjoy the coffee and some freshly baked sweet, surrounded by books from floor to ceiling. An extremely clean, neat and tidy place. Cozy and very stylish.

31/10/2025: As a frequent traveler, I have been to this cafe several times in the past year. It's a nice place; the service is good. Unfortunately, they don't know how to make coffee. I ordered a flat white several times, and what I got looked and tasted like a filter coffee where they just poured the milk in (see my uploaded picture). They have a professional portafilter but seem not to know how to use it properly. Please let a barista show you how to use the machine correctly and how to foam the milk properly. Thanks!

We had the best 10th birthday party in the world for my daughter 🥳❤️ Large party room, own toilet, sofa corner and an extra room with sofas and tables, where the kids played, drew and played games in peace from the adults 😅. In addition, there was a private terrace with sofa and seating areas, a view of the landscape, the fjord and the kids playing outside. Fantastic outdoor areas with views, grass, forest, animals, monuments and the rustle of history 🥰 The most delicious food that received the highest praise from all the guests, who are otherwise well-adjusted and used to good food. The food was tasty, looked inviting for children and adults, and there was plenty of it. Can hardly praise the staff enough. They were all SO sweet 😍 When booking, Niels had it in mind that they were the 10-year-old birthday boy who should have his dreams fulfilled, and he knew exactly what was needed. A buffet for children and adults with all their favorite dishes. The girls serving were simply so sweet and attentive. If we needed scissors or a hand, they were there. There are not enough stars for this amazing place 😘👌⭐️

What makes it really special—besides the great beer—is Ulf, the owner. Ulf is without a doubt the sweetest and most genuine guy you'll meet. He has an incredible passion for beer and knows everything there is to know about it. You can tell immediately that he puts his heart into the place. He’s always ready to recommend something that suits your taste, and he does it with a smile every single time. The atmosphere at Knuds Garage is warm, relaxed, and full of personality. It feels like a home away from home—somewhere you can unwind, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a really good beer in peace. The interior has a charming, almost nostalgic feel to it, and there’s just something comforting about being there. The beer selection is excellent. There’s always a solid variety of both local and international options, carefully chosen and well-kept. You can tell that every beer on the menu has been selected with care and knowledge. In short: Knuds Garage is not just a bar—it’s an experience. And Ulf? He’s the kind of owner every bar dreams of having. 24/10/2025: It's really hard to tell anything about the food, service and atmosphere when the place is closed 🙄 Friday night a little after 6pm 🤷‍♂️🤔

21/10/2025: In my opinion, this restaurant is misrated. Only one table is occupied, apparently, while many tables were reserved. A very unfriendly welcome. We were very unfriendly and shown to a table assigned to us by an employee. As soon as we sat down, a strong employee very unpleasantly informed us that we had to wait until we were assigned a table. I have been going to Denmark for over 30 years and have never experienced such an unfriendly Dane. We were then assigned a table in the back, dark and without the desired sea view. Not only were we no longer entirely satisfied, we ordered something else to eat. The waitress was clearly getting used to it. She couldn't advise us on the ingredients used in the dishes. After quite a while, our food was served. We had schnitzels that were dry and tasteless, fried potatoes, and peas from the refrigerator. The sauce was inedible. We sent the food back. The cozy evening was gone. One star for only being charged for the drinks. It's a shame, back home after about four weeks, I'm suffering. Still feeling the impact of this restaurant. I think in other countries, a restaurant with only one toilet wouldn't be allowed. What an outlier for Denmark. Perhaps Denmark also has a control system for hygiene and food quality. It would be worth checking it out. I'll keep coming back to Denmark. Beautiful country and nice people. Simply hyggeligious.
