27/06/2025: A good restaurant the service was very friendly and good. The food was very tasty and the portion was certainly enough.

26/06/2025: We went there as a group and were very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is very cozy and the food is incredibly delicious. The portions are really large and filling. A big compliment also goes to the service, who was very attentive and spoke relatively good German. Our conclusion: You feel very comfortable there, the food tastes like grandma's home-cooked food, and the price-performance ratio is perfectly acceptable.

15/06/2025: Wow, what an unprecedented old-fashioned service in this beautiful restaurant. We had not made a reservation but were still offered a very nice spot by an extremely friendly lady. The food is super freshly prepared in the open kitchen. The flavors were deliciously authentic; just the way you want to experience them in an Italian restaurant. The restaurant is quite spacious but you don't really notice this once you are there. We had a fantastic experience here and the 5 stars are well deserved. You should definitely stop by here if you are in the area.

06/07/2025: I would like to inform you that you should probably not order ribeye at a fish restaurant that we visited on 4.7.25 at 7:00 p.m. The ribeye was truly the worst thing my husband and I have ever tasted, there was almost no meat in my ribeye that was edible, of course there is something that needs to be cut off on a ribeye, but on mine the meat was filled with a flabby mass and membrane that was completely inedible. Truly disgusting. The potato timbale was also nothing to write home about. I pointed out to the waiter that the meat was of very poor quality, which she did not agree with me, and said she could not help, I did not expect that either. Today I ran to the toilet with a total bad feeling in my stomach. Damn! Worst birthday dinner to date. A truly terrible experience for me and my husband. My grandson got plaice and my daughter got half a lobster, which was as it should be. 6.7.25 I really don't want to bother with the bad food experience anymore, and I don't think that's an answer that suits you. I'm just telling you about my experience, so you have to take the criticism yourself - or as you apparently DON'T. I just want to tell others that if others experience it, they are not alone.🙄

05/07/2025: Our absolute first choice and go-to place to eat when we have something to celebrate or "just" want to treat ourselves. The only place in Kolding (besides Hotel Koldingfjord, which is also highly recommended, by the way) where there are trained waiters - and you can feel it! The experience is just so much better, EVERYTHING is in order, the food is fantastic and there is simply nothing to complain about at all! Add to that a really nice and very varied wine list. Admiralen in Kolding is highly recommended!

24/06/2025: We got ice cream from the outdoor hut. A long wait, we had to get it ourselves. The ice cream tub was almost empty, so there was hardly any choice. The server then gave us "mini scoops" at a very high price and with a terrible taste. Not again – it's definitely worth the trip to Christiansfeld. Double the quantity, significantly cheaper, and delicious.

29/05/2025: One of our favorite ways to slow down and enjoy the moment in Kolding? A riverside lunch at Café Klein. The view is peaceful, the vibe is warm, and the food—always a delight. We tried the creamy pasta and enchilada, and wow… they did not disappoint. The pasta was rich and comforting, with a good amount of creaminess. The enchilada brought bold flavors, a perfect balance of spice, and that satisfying melted cheese finish. 🍝🌯

03/06/2025: I always stop at Freddy's when I take the train to Kolding. The coffee is good, the buns are delicious and the service is always incredibly sweet. So highly recommended from here.

What a wonderful experience, really delicious, plentiful and beautifully arranged. Here you get delicious, crispy and original Thai food at very affordable prices.
