29/08/2026: It hasn’t been our first choice of food for a long time but we were on the road and were hungry. I must say…. Wow! This was an unexpected experience. Definitely the best Mc Donald’s in years! Extremely clean, very friendly and exelent and well done food. It was like going back in the 90’s when it actually felt really nice to eat at Mc Donald’s. Thank you!

20/08/2026: Really cozy café in Middelfart. The beautiful garden is a little oasis in the middle of the city, and the coffee is really good. Perfect place for a quiet coffee break and some homemade cheesecake.

10/09/2026: Info-teria Lillebælt Syd is a great stop for a fresh, satisfying meal while travelling. The menu offers a wonderful variety, from juicy burgers and crispy Fish & Chips to traditional Danish dishes such as meatballs and roasted pork. The Stjerneskud with fried fish, shrimp, asparagus, and fresh salad is an especially appealing choice for seafood lovers. The sandwiches and fresh salads are also excellent lighter options. With freshly prepared food, generous choices, and a comfortable setting, it is a convenient and enjoyable place to take a break and have a delicious meal.

20/07/2026: This beautiful resort is set in a wonderfully quiet location, surrounded by nature and tucked far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are lovely, the buffet is delicious, and the staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming. The absolute highlight of the place, however, is the central courtyard, which is home to a delightful family of deer and goats. It is a truly wonderful feature that makes the stay extra special. On top of that, the grounds offer plenty of space for relaxing walks, a peaceful lake equipped with hammocks, a small football pitch with goals, and even a dedicated campfire spot to enjoy in the evening. You certainly won't get bored here. It is definitely worth planning a stop at this venue, especially if you are traveling around Denmark by car.

06/04/2026: Stayed a few days here. We had booked a spacious double room, and have to say that it wasn't very spacious. It took some time to get hot water for the first time in the mornings, but after letting quite a bit of water run, we got pretty hot water. But the room was very clean and comfortable, and we were happy with it. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was okay (for vegetarians). They did offer dinner buffet, but it looked like most of the dishes were meaty. The location is great - it is quiet and 30 min drive to Odense or Kolding. The most important thing to note is that the hotel closes at 9PM, so there won't be anyone to help if needed after that.

17/07/2026: We always stop in and get two cups of latte. 2 buns and 2 pieces of Wienerbrod They make the best latte, you can taste that their bread is quality.

08/07/2026: Pretty good place to stop for a break, a snack and a bathroom call. Despite what other reviews say, I've found - during regular visits in the last 18 months - that the toilets are acceptably clean and well curated, any mess is obviously thanks entirely to dirty customers and is quickly cleaned away. Yes, it does cost, but why would it be free? It's a business, not a public toilet, and someone has to pay for attendance, soap, water, power etc. The opportunities for food are pretty normal for a motorway cafe, decent sandwiches, fast food, ice creams & Soda etc - the cafeteria is also clean, and pretty much as you'd expect for a place catering to travellers who are just passing through (and have zero concerns about any mess they may leave themselves). By which I mean - it's tidy and as clean as a small staff can keep it while open for business. No petrol pumps, but plenty of electric charging stations. Some outdoor seating for nice days - I have a very positive opinion of this business, also it's in exactly the right place for a motorway services stop, quick or otherwise.

09/09/2026: Restaurant Marsvinet looks like a wonderful place to enjoy authentic Danish home-style cooking. The menu features an appealing selection of fresh fish and seafood, classic smørrebrød, warm smoked salmon and the popular Stjerneskud with fried and steamed fish, smoked salmon, asparagus and prawns. Traditional dishes such as Wiener schnitzel and pan-fried plaice also sound delicious. The focus on local ingredients and honest homemade food gives the restaurant a warm and authentic character, making it a lovely choice for a relaxed Danish meal.

20/07/2026: We stopped for breakfast at this wonderful bakery during our travels and were absolutely delighted! The charming and cozy atmosphere is enchanting from the moment you walk in – the perfect place to take a short break from the stress of driving. The baked goods were absolutely divine and incredibly delicious, and the coffee was first-class, aromatic, and the perfect pick-me-up for the rest of our journey. The wonderful team deserves special mention: The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, brightening our day with their radiant smiles. A fantastic stop that kicked off our vacation perfectly. We'll definitely be back! 🌟☕🚌

08/07/2026: Everyone in Middelfart will be pleasantly surprised at Lagkagehuset. A wonderful atmosphere is complemented by specialty coffees and accompanying pastries. The breakfast rolls, croissants, and delicious breads are, of course, absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended! ☝️

07/08/2026: Great experience! The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we felt really welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was delicious, fresh and of high quality. The service was fast and professional. I highly recommend the place and will definitely be back!
