13/10/2025: We spontaneously ate there last Sunday. Although I've had good Indian food in London, Curryleaf was far better. Thank you so much.
12/10/2025: We had a delicious meal from the buffet tonight. Highly recommended! The staff were very friendly, the buffet was constantly replenished, and all the dishes were delicious.
Whether you like spicy or not, there's something for everyone.
The mango lassi was also delicious.
And for dessert, you can get ice cream.
We'd love to come back again.

23/09/2025: A really cozy nostalgic Færgekro, located right next to the small Ballebro ferry landing. Located so nicely by the water and with a beautiful view from the "living rooms" at the Færgekro.

18/10/2025: Very good food and a great view of the fjord – you should definitely try the house-cured smoked salmon with creamed spinach – excellent! Good selection of non-alcoholic beers.
04/10/2025: Got the best and most perfect veal fillet w/side dishes.
Perfect attentive service, quiet surroundings, so it is possible to talk. Older decor, but absolutely clean. The area also invites you to walk in the area. We have eaten in many places as a couple, but have never seen a garden and courtyard area so nice.
Definitely worth a visit, there is also a pavilion you can sit in.

16/07/2025: Had high expectations for the coffee but was disappointed. The cappuccino was watery and tasted almost like milk. We ordered a cake which took 25 minutes to get, even though we went in and asked twice. They had forgotten it after all. No apology or anything like that, just: Well, that was boring.
I won't be going here to drink coffee again.

23/10/2025: A MUST to visit this beautiful place. I have never had better ice cream in my life. The most delicious flavors with daily changes in flavors and new delicious flavors.
Their peanut caramel ice cream - amen don't get me started.
When I come again I will bring all my friends 😍👏🏼
The only downside is that you are not closer to Silkeborg.. PYT I would like to drive to Sønderborg for Denmark's best ice cream.

24/10/2025: Wow, what a beautiful, small, and cozy café.
And the cakes, the waffles, the pancakes—simply unbelievably delicious. You can taste the love for the café and the cakes. The service was fantastic and super nice to our children and us.
I can 100% recommend it, and anyone in Sonderborg should definitely stop by this café.

27/11/2025: We visited this wine bar for a pre-wedding gathering, and it turned out to be a great choice. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a cosy vibe that felt especially comforting on an autumn evening after a cold and rainy day.
They offer a good variety of wines, and the staff were proactive and attentive throughout our visit. It is on the pricier side, but that’s to be expected when enjoying wine in Denmark.
Overall, a lovely spot for a relaxed get-together and a great place to start off a celebration.

Du må ikke snyde dig selv for oplevelsen af at få den sidste aftensol, mens du nyder et glas Chablis eller Chardonnay ved Viselulles udendørsservering. Det kan bare noget.

28/11/2025: Did not eat. Just had a drink. Really nice atmosphere.
24/10/2025: The food is clearly the worst part of the experience. Not that it was bad food, but it is miles away from restaurant food.
It is the quick and boring solutions with vegetables from the freezer, cheap and indifferent meat and dressing, sauce etc. from a bucket.
But you can't expect more at those prices. It costs the same for a meal here as a standard pizza from the local pizza place.
There were many guests, so the price etc. hits the clientele really well.

The freshly made food was delicious. Chili mayo had a thick dried-out film on it, ice cream that runs around has melted.
Looks like no one is keeping an eye on how long things have been on the conveyor belt.
Bought ginger juice, it was full of big lumps. Told the waiter that the bottle should have been shaken before they opened it. It also says so on the bottle.
They couldn't do that, that's not how they work, and they couldn't shake them.
And then she left.
Several tables have been squeezed in, so you sit close to them behind them.

17/09/2025: Located very centrally and has a nice restaurant with good dinner. The breakfast is top class. The beds, which are just important to us, as that is the only time we are in the room, were really good, a little on the hard side😁which suits us perfectly.

We didn't think it was that clean, especially where we ate, lots of flies (unfortunately) didn't really make us want to eat there'

Came on a Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm where there were guests but still seats for more
Fast service, polite waiters and chefs
I got a very nice medium rare beef with potatoes, cauliflower and mushrooms with a very nice bearnaise sauce
Will come again another time 😁
