03/11/2024: An oasis in Sønderborg. Finally a cozy café again. The cake is simply delicious. The café is small, cozy, rustic and you can take a nice break here. The employees are very accommodating and you just feel comfortable here.

23/10/2023: The best baker in Denmark. Very nice people who work there and the rolls, bread and especially the cake just taste very good. So go there if you are in the area and taste the good quality for yourself.

08/11/2024: Die Vaffelboden-Filiale in Sønderborg überzeugt mit ihrer einladenden Atmosphäre und aufmerksamem Service. Das mehrsprachige Personal sorgt für eine reibungslose Verständigung auf Dänisch, Englisch oder einer Kombination aus beidem – besonders hilfreich für alle, die Dänisch lernen. Das Lokal ist ideal für eine unkomplizierte und rundum gelungene kleine Auszeit. Sehr zu empfehlen!

25/08/2024: Very tasty soft ice cream 🍦 and “normal” ice cream 🍨. Plus friendly service who also speaks German. Absolutely recommended. 👍

31/10/2024: It's great to see how much a professional chef can conjure up smørrebrød. Top class worth a visit, the level of service is also top class.

11/10/2024: Nice restaurant in Sonderborg, food is good, portions are small and the cocktails are amazing. Unfortunately we weren't fully satisfied as it was difficult choosing the dishes of the menu. First or all there is no English menu, would be helpful to have some ready for foreign guests. Second, the restaurant was very unflexible when you wanted to swap the dishes of the menu. From the menu card it looked like you could freely chose, but that wasn't the case. For the 3 course there is just one option possible, otherwise you take the 5 courses and get all 5 dishes. Very confusing and not what I am used to from a higher class restaurant. Too bad. Still good enough to have a great evening, will consider twice if I should come back.

06/11/2024: A thoroughly fantastic evening with delicious food and wine. Super serving staff. If I have to make a small complaint, it would be that there is a little too much "vegetarian food". I think you could have had some delicious fish and or seafood, as well as, since it is game season, a bit expensive fillet, made in some delicious way. Just a suggestion. Etc. Flemming Kjær.

16/02/2024: It is a great restaurant, low key, tasty food. Fast service. It is a family run place, easy to deal with. There is nothing to complain about.
