15/01/2026: Super good service. Food prices are average and about 10% higher but it's worth it. Really good information about the buffet if that's what you want. You can also order dishes. It's definitely not the last time we'll be there

14/01/2026: We went to Curry Leaves for dinner and were absolutely amazed by how good the food was. Everything we tried was spectacular — honestly, I’ve never felt this satisfied after a meal. We are visiting from Australia and wanted to try an Indian restaurant while on holiday, and I can confidently say that no Indian restaurant back home comes close to the flavours we experienced here. The food was rich, authentic, and full of taste. There was a wide variety of curries to choose from, so everyone can find something they love. The samosa sauces were especially unique and special — I’ve never tasted anything like them before, and they were incredibly delicious. I highly recommend Curry Leaves to both locals and visitors who want to enjoy something different from Danish food and experience truly amazing Indian cuisine. We will definitely be coming back! 😊

23/09/2025: A really cozy nostalgic Færgekro, located right next to the small Ballebro ferry landing. Located so nicely by the water and with a beautiful view from the "living rooms" at the Færgekro.

23/10/2025: A MUST to visit this beautiful place. I have never had better ice cream in my life. The most delicious flavors with daily changes in flavors and new delicious flavors. Their peanut caramel ice cream - amen don't get me started. When I come again I will bring all my friends 😍👏🏼 The only downside is that you are not closer to Silkeborg.. PYT I would like to drive to Sønderborg for Denmark's best ice cream.

16/07/2025: Had high expectations for the coffee but was disappointed. The cappuccino was watery and tasted almost like milk. We ordered a cake which took 25 minutes to get, even though we went in and asked twice. They had forgotten it after all. No apology or anything like that, just: Well, that was boring. I won't be going here to drink coffee again.

24/10/2025: Wow, what a beautiful, small, and cozy café. And the cakes, the waffles, the pancakes—simply unbelievably delicious. You can taste the love for the café and the cakes. The service was fantastic and super nice to our children and us. I can 100% recommend it, and anyone in Sonderborg should definitely stop by this café.

18/10/2025: Very good food and a great view of the fjord – you should definitely try the house-cured smoked salmon with creamed spinach – excellent! Good selection of non-alcoholic beers.

09/12/2025: Delicious food, nice staff who did NOT clear the plates until everyone was finished. I find it incredibly stressful when the waiters clear other people's plates before everyone is finished. We go to Ionian before that reason. So nice that the waiters gave us peace. Cozy place.

24/10/2025: The food is clearly the worst part of the experience. Not that it was bad food, but it is miles away from restaurant food. It is the quick and boring solutions with vegetables from the freezer, cheap and indifferent meat and dressing, sauce etc. from a bucket. But you can't expect more at those prices. It costs the same for a meal here as a standard pizza from the local pizza place. There were many guests, so the price etc. hits the clientele really well.

06/12/2025: Cozy surroundings, nice waiters. The food is not bad but disappointing. The fish is nice, but no variety, everything is salmon, crab or chicken. The hot food lacks flavor or is too salty. The desserts are nice, good portions and nice taste. And a Sapporo beer rarely disappoints.

12/12/2025: A really cozy restaurant, with homely Italian food. The place was clean and obviously well loved by its owners. The prices were extremely cheap and amazing value for the quality of food and service. It was quiet, I just hope that they get a lot more business.
