14/10/2025: ABSOLUTELY a fantastic place. The food was spectacular, the atmosphere was welcoming, the service was top notch. The food was a bit pricey, but they were showing football so it was worth it. Cozy place, will 100% come back

04/10/2025: Anyone who likes beer and doesn't have to drive should stop here. Very tasty beers at mid-range prices. But remember, craft beer is a craft and comes at a price...

19/10/2025: Great course at a good price. Pitch 1 is a bit too easy, but it's easy to get in this way. Very hilly with a beautiful view.

16/10/2025: The scenery is very beautiful. Some tees are unkempt. Overall, it's still worthwhile.

14/12/2025: Stayed at the hotel for one night on a deal with accommodation, 3 course menu and breakfast. The room was nice, large, a little worn and with a terrible shower. It was completely limescaled, and felt like syle. The 3 course dinner was delicious and tasty. However, the bread for starters was very dry. The service was fast and polite. Breakfast was nice, but missed the opportunity to get a caffe latte or other delicious coffee. Most of the staff at the hotel were foreign. The location is tip top in relation to the center and the water.

24/11/2025: Nice location in relation to the center, okay rooms and nice view. We were there on a luxury stay with 4 course menu, wine menu and breakfast. The dinner was quite terrible and what was supposed to be hot was cold. We have never been served such bad and tasteless food before. When you mentioned to the waiters that the food was not good and cold, they just switched to English and then stayed away from the table. The breakfast was okay.

17/04/2025: My friend and I had a super nice ending after a movie at the Old Danish Pub. We had a draft beer and a drink and enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere and 100% agree that this is not the last time we end up here

20/07/2025: Hvis du er i Sønderborg så und dig selv en frokost på Café Stjernen. Byens bedste stjerneskud, godt øl og gammel dansk musik i baggrunden. Perfekt til en sommerdag.

06/07/2025: Nice restaurant for lunch. There were 4 of us who ordered different dishes. All 4 came relatively quickly, tasted really good. Good beers and everything at a good price. Can be recommended

24/12/2025: The worst thing about Bones is that they take plates before everyone is finished. They are super annoying. Let's eat in peace though. They served dessert before the last person had finished their main course. Not good.

22/11/2025: If you want the game bodega experience then Den Gamle Skomager is definitely a good choice. We felt like we were stepping into 1990 with the music that suited the people who had probably also been sitting there since then. Well mixed with new young people who got too drunk and fell asleep at the table 😅. We experienced as unknown guests being really well received, except for Laila who apparently wasn't that keen on the male regulars wanting to talk to us. It was a bit more comical than uncomfortable and was completely in line with the 90s experience. We'd like to come back when the clothes have been washed of smoke and debate the difference between a Carlsberg pilsner and an Odense pilsner.

31/10/2025: Great pizza, amazing personel always smilling and talkative, they speak english, dannish and even german, kebab's are specially delicious

24/09/2025: This is a fantastic little restaurant that does not look like much on the in- or outside to be fair, but the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and the food is so delicious that I had to hold off from jumping right into the pizza sauce behind the counter to take a bath in it. My mother and I had the ham pizza and I kid you not, this is the best thing we ever had in our lives in terms of pizza and probably food in general. And we're PICKY eaters. The dough is crisp and yet chewy, the cheese is aromatic, the ham was so juicy and plentiful that I thought they probably put an entire pig's worth of pork on my pizza. My mother said she'd move to Augustenborg just to go to that restaurant everyday and...I think she might be on to something there! ;-)

20/07/2025: Jeg var til bryllupsfest d. 19.7 2025. Det var et helt igennem fremragende arrangement. Alt var så gennemført perfekt. Maden var fremragende og super lækker. Kødet så mørt at det smeltede på tungen. De bedste vine, og en helt igennem kapabel betjening. Glassene var fyldt, og der mangle ingen ting. Fremragende køkkenchef. Og fremragende tjenere, har gjort oplevelsen vidunderlig og uforglemmelig. Tusind tak🙏🏻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 👨🏻‍🍳👌🏻🥰🙏🏻

14/09/2025: Doesn't get much better in Sønder!

09/09/2025: We booked a table for lunch and sat outside. We had a Caesar salad and the house burger and two beers. There are specials with the food, for example the ketchup was homemade. Here we were served by a very professional waiter who made the experience fantastic. The view of the water was fantastic. Then we went up to the 16th floor at the view point where you have a spectacular view. You should definitely try it.
