Steaks are available in almost every restaurant, unfortunately, too often, and of mediocre quality. At Frankel 5, things are quite different. Some of the six people tried the steak on our first visit – it was excellent. An exception? We wanted to know more about it and visited the restaurant on three more evenings. What can I say? It was always absolutely tender, so it was of excellent quality and expertly cooked. But the other dishes are also highly recommended. Very friendly service; overall, a very, very good address on Rømø.
12/06/2025: After years of searching for truly good food on and near the island of Rømø, I've finally found what I was looking for here, and I've tested it over several visits: perfect food in a beautiful setting and very friendly staff. Thank you very much – I'll be happy to come back again and again.

13/04/2025: Lovely stay at Agerskov Inn. Accommodating and humorous staff, who were always on their toes. The room was clean and had what we needed. The evening meal was absolutely top class, and the breakfast buffet was extensive and inviting.

12/06/2025: We tried the buffet for the first time and were very satisfied. In addition to fish, there was also a variety of hot meats with a variety of side dishes. There was also a salad buffet and desserts such as ice cream, chocolate mousse, and more. Although it was busy, there was no need to wait in line as is often the case. The service was super friendly and very attentive. Considering that a burger with fries costs almost 30 euros on Rømø, the buffet is definitely worth the almost 40 euros for me.

16/06/2025: The pizza and pasta are highly recommended. The ambiance is a bit dated, but it was clean and the staff was very friendly.
31/05/2025: A somewhat run-down pizzeria. But somehow quite fitting for a holiday spot. The pizza was definitely quite tasty. Unfortunately, we can't comment on the other dishes, but you're probably better off eating pizza in a pizzeria anyway. Definitely recommended, even if the place has a rather 80s charm.

22/05/2025: A very cozy cafe with a large selection of delicious pastries. The cozy cafe on the first floor, in the middle of the old town of Tøndern, a place to relax and unwind. The service was unsurpassed friendly and helpful. There are no language difficulties there; the staff speaks English, German and Danish perfectly. This will be our regular cafe as new Danes.

08/06/2025: A hidden, almost hidden place, that hides a very charming place thanks to its decor and welcoming smile. The selection is very wide, each product is fresh and delicately prepared. A truly extremely pleasant moment for the mind and the taste buds. Highly recommended.
The vegan offerings are outstanding. 🌹🌹🌹

15/06/2025: We stayed here with our motorhome. Everything is new, clean, and modern. The site is beautifully landscaped with several ponds and small bridges. All paths/roads and pitches are paved. Good internet and Wi-Fi reception. Pitches can be booked online in advance or directly on-site at the ticket machine. There's a playground and mini golf (65 DKK, discounted for overnight stays), as well as two very large meadows. I've rarely seen such a generously designed water and waste disposal system. The site includes two rental bungalows and a few glamping tents.
Overall, highly recommended, as Rømø and the beach can be reached in 20 minutes, and it's also somewhat cheaper than on the island.

06/07/2025: Cozy old inn, where the floor creaks. The inn is within walking distance of the Wadden Sea and Ballum Sluse. The room was lovely with a nice view of the lock. The owner and the staff (2 young girls) were nice and smiling. The dinner was really tasty and there was plenty. The breakfast was really good and there was also plenty. A lovely stay.
29/06/2025: An atmospheric old inn with an interesting history. Warm and friendly service. Cozy rooms. Own restaurant with lots of meat options, but not much vegetarian food. Very good and tasty breakfast.
Quiet location along a rarely used road, where the soundscape consists mainly of birdsong. Excellent location next to the road for those traveling by car. Free parking space in the yard.

04/07/2025: It felt like stepping into Helle’s own living room—warm, welcoming, and full of charm. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, and Helle’s passion for quality ingredients and good food was unmistakable. We’re hoping to return on a weekend, when the rugbrød is available. It was still baking during our visit, and the smell was absolutely irresistible.
