11/01/2026: We dined at Frankel 5 again. Both the delicious appetizers—shrimp cocktail and garlic bread with tomato and cheese—and the excellent filet steak with a flavorful peppercorn sauce were superbly prepared and an absolute delight. The service was once again incredibly friendly, attentive, and courteous. We, along with our friends and family, have always been thrilled with our visits to Frankel 5. We highly recommend this restaurant!

10/01/2026: We just finished dining at Restaurant Frankel 5 again. The food was once more outstanding, and the service was very friendly and attentive. The filet steak was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The side dishes were plentiful and equally delicious. For starters, we had a prawn cocktail and garlic bread with tomato and cheese. It was a delight, and we can absolutely recommend this excellent restaurant!

02/01/2026: Would’ve gave 5 star but like the tap water is 25 krone that dosent make sense but everything else is good service and good is nice but the water think bothered me bc we’re with 8 people so just give me a glas of water and not a bottle

25/10/2025: A relatively inexpensive restaurant. The service is friendly and attentive. However, you should be fluent in English, as only the chef speaks German. The food, especially the pizzas, has always been very tasty. The only downside is the ambiance: it's just a pizzeria, nothing special. When the weather's nice, you can sit outside.

11/12/2025: A fantastic restaurant, a wonderful atmosphere, a super friendly owner, and the breakfast couldn't have been better. Five stars aren't enough, really, but there were two of us and we're happy to both give it five stars, so ten in total. Thank you so much, Malu and Ulla!

09/12/2025: Really worth a visit. There is a SO cozy and relaxed atmosphere in the old barn, which is beautifully decorated - enjoy the warmth by the wood-burning stove and taste some of the homemade dishes - have a chat with Merete and maybe buy some ceramics etc. to take home.

24/10/2025: Worst café visit in a long time! We were there on the weekend and came in with a dog, as there was no notice online or on the door saying "dogs not allowed." The staff saw us, as well as the dog, so we ordered at the front of the counter with our dog. After completing our order and sitting down, employee number 1 suddenly approached us and rudely told us that dogs weren't allowed. Shortly afterward, the second employee, who had also seen the dog before, approached us. We weren't allowed in with the dog, but they didn't want to refund our money either. So they asked us to sit upstairs in the back corner... very uncomfortable and I didn't feel comfortable in the café at all. Also, the cake and coffee itself: Unfortunately, the cake was dry, and the coffee itself tasted awful. It had absolutely nothing to do with a cappuccino and tasted like a cheap cocoa and water mixture. We took two sips and left it because it was undrinkable. Almost 18€ for two pieces of cake and this coffee (?) was too much!

16/12/2025: A really cozy inn located in the middle of nowhere. At least that's how it feels for a "Copenhagen resident". We stayed in two nice simple rooms with good beds, beautiful views and somewhat boring bathrooms. The staff was nice and welcoming. We had a delicious and filling table-served breakfast with soft-boiled eggs, juice, cheese, cold cuts, coffee, etc.

05/12/2025: The restaurant's historic premises and furnishings have age, coziness and authenticity. We had lamb stew and rice salad. Both dishes were very tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. And the hotel's location is unique.

22/09/2025: Three of us went there for dinner today. The ambiance was great (retro), and the service was extremely friendly. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to this standard. Thin fish, consisting of equal parts breadcrumbs and fish, excessive, dry, crispy fried poultry, and an overall bland flavor spoiled our appetite. Overall, unfortunately, not recommended.

27/09/2025: Overall, a good and delicious experience. The fish is really good, and the fried potatoes as a side dish are also really tasty!

22/11/2025: German is spoken here, and service is friendly. Unfortunately, the bakery closes at 4:30 p.m., so it's not ideal for late-night shopping.

13/11/2025: It's a Danish bakery that keeps really beautiful gluten-free pastries in the freezer. Everything tastes delicious and it's a nice change for German tourists. Thank you so much! 😋☺️
