16/08/2025: Fantastic beach, very spacious and very quiet. (September). The beach is strewn with beautiful stones.

15/08/2025: Beautiful beach. Ample parking with food and drink options. There's nothing else on the beach.

03/01/2026: I was extremely disappointed with the quality. I bought rolls and croissants. The rolls were practically air, and the croissants tasted like cardboard. Lacking alternatives, we'll probably have to go there again. I can't understand the enthusiasm in the reviews here.

15/10/2025: Nice food, but a bit high prices. Be aware that their sandwiches may come with bread so hard that you can't cut through it with a knife.

29/12/2025: The cheeseburger was amazing! Absolutely worth the money. It came with delicious crispy fries and a mayonnaise with a subtle hint of garlic. Delicious! Service: top-notch! However: the menu was available in German, but the staff only spoke very good English.

04/10/2025: Cake buffet - many different cakes and pancakes. Exciting to try something new. However, one cake was eaten when we arrived - 30 minutes after the start - and no more of it came. Too bad. Therefore only 4 stars for service. Lovely surroundings, where you can go for walks along the lake and see many birds. The atmosphere also only gets 4 stars as it was very noisy and it was a bit difficult to talk at the table.

27/09/2025: An experience for anyone who is forced to eat gluten-free. Ate there 2 days in a row. It was so nice and liberating to sit down at the table on the 2nd day, knowing that EVERYTHING was fine. 10 stars from here. The food is delicious and doesn't differ from anything else except for the things that have gluten in it. Wow 1st time I've had a gluten-free beer at a restaurant and yes not more expensive than the other specialty beers. What's not to like.. The restaurant also has a children's and parents' area with a fairly large play area. There is the option of outdoor dining if desired The toilets are a chapter in themselves, smiles there are nice and proper but one day it was a mess and the next day it was a bit run down, laughs. If you want to know more, you have to visit the place. The waiting time is ok even when it's almost full. The place is cozy and located by Kvie lake. Here in the low season there are limited opening hours so booking a table is a good thing Definitely worth a visit and I will definitely return.

27/12/2025: Super cozy – simply fantastic! The drink selection is amazing – the atmosphere is lovely – and the staff is incredibly welcoming! We spontaneously stopped by for a drink with friends and had a child with us; everyone was warmly welcomed, and there's even a Lego toy box for the kids! Great service, we would definitely come back! 🥂😊

14/12/2025: A little fresher serving perhaps. But otherwise a place we would happily eat again. There is plenty of entertainment for children there.

04/10/2025: On the way home from our holiday home on the North Sea, we still had time for breakfast in Varde! A very nice restaurant with a friendly, family-friendly atmosphere and great food—we felt very well looked after!
