02/05/2025: A Wonderful Surprise! We came here on the last day of our 3-day vacation and were welcomed by a very kind waiter. The location is lovely. We ordered the steak and the salmon both were absolutely delicious! (I wasn’t a fan of the steak’s sauce, but it wasn’t a problem since it was served on the side. After enjoying these well-presented and tasty dishes, we decided to try a dessert and went for the chocolate cake it was amazing! The prices were in line with Copenhagen’s standards, but it was definitely worth it. Thanks for everything! I hope this review helps you.

07/05/2025: We settled down on Restaurant Valdemar's cozy covered terrace facing the street and had an enchanting May evening on a Tuesday.. We felt really comfortable and were well looked after. Great service, appropriate time between courses - for us, as we had to talk a lot - and the food was clearly just pampered gourmet across the board. Superb wine. All three of us were full from the starter and main course, so there was (unfortunately) no room for dessert. For us it was perfect that there were not many other guests on the terrace, as one of us is hearing-impaired by noise. There was a nice atmosphere both inside and outside, but the few outdoor guests were not something that, for us, put any limits on the atmosphere or the coziness outside. There was no noticeable noise on such a Tuesday evening, either from the street, the terrace or the restaurant. We asked to have the terrace heater turned on before dusk, and it and blankets probably extended our stay outside by an hour. Picture of appetizer: Cold smoked Faroese salmon on green waffle with herb cream etc.

06/05/2025: Very nice restaurant in the center. Great terrace where dogs are allowed. Traditional food, very friendly and perfect German speaking boss, great food, very tasty. Beautiful facility..... absolutely recommended and right in the center 😄

18/04/2025: Polite friendly staff, great ambience, variety of dishes. Been here a few times. This all-day cafe in the city centre has become our go-to place to hang-out with friends visiting the city. Always such a nice experience.

25/04/2025: The Shrimp ist zwar ein Hotelrestaurant, aber das tut dem Ambiente keinen Abbruch. Im Gegenteil: der Innenhof bietet ein perfektes Ambiente. Küche sehr solide, es gibt nur Menü mit einer Auswahl pro Gang (1 von 3). Geschmack und Präsentation des Essens sehr einladend (siehe Foto mit Jacobsmuschel). Weinkarte okay. Service sehr aufmerksam.

15/04/2025: Qué comida tan maravillosa. Compartimos raviolis de champiñones en un caldo de hoja de trébol de avellana, seguido de eglefino al vapor en una salsa de camarones, espolvoreados con patatas fritas de alcachofa. Absolutamente delicioso. Una de las mejores comidas que hemos tenido. El servicio fue excelente. Regados con una rosa danesa y Chablis francés. Bon appetit.

01/05/2025: OMG that was the best wrap I ever had - chicken with a sweet sauce, cabbage, avocado, mango, pomegranate and a few things I forgot. Definitely big enough for dinner and all the ingredients on display fresh. ~ 5 mins prep time and no lineup to order. Fantastic!

01/04/2025: I have ONLY positive things to say about this wonderful restaurant. The staff was so friendly. Everything was super nice and clean. The menu was diverse, but simple and set up in a super good way, but clearly described ingredients, so there are no surprises. The food was AMAZING!!! Both my boyfriend and I chose a Mediterranean, I chose a wrap and my boyfriend a bowl, and you could choose what kind of meat you wanted, or whether it should be vegetarian. I chose beef the first day and lamb the second day, my boyfriend chose chicken and it was all SO delicious!!! My boyfriend and I are in Copenhagen one weekend a year and always wander around looking for a place to eat, with varying success. This year we found Wrap House on Friday and were so excited that we chose to go there again on Saturday! We did not regret it and will definitely eat there again when we come back next year.

20/12/2024: Esta fue la experiencia Michelin 2 estrellas perfecta. Menú de 13 platos y aparcacoches. La razón por la que era perfecto era que ni una sola porción era una falta. He estado en muchos restaurantes Michelin y de mi experiencia siempre hay 2 - 3 rellenos en el menú - cursos que solo está allí para traer el número de porciones. Pero aquí no. Un menú bien equilibrado en términos de sabor, textura y uso diferente de carne, mariscos, verduras y granos: perfección. El parring de vino no era barato, pero era muy buen vino y las copas eran más grandes que la media. Volveremos.

08/04/2025: Udmærket sted , 2 overnatninger i , efter min mening , lidt for bløde senge . men sådan er vi forskellige . Håndsæben i badet duftede af katteurin . Morgenmaden var en special oplevelse , med servering ved bordet . Men virkelig udsøgt , med en rar og flink tjener.

06/04/2025: En fantastisk gourmet oplevelse langt ude på landet. Men maden er fantastisk og servicen er bestemt også i orden. De har et stort vinkort og går meget op i, at vinen passer til maden. Maden var udsøgt og der var gjort meget ud af hver enkelt ret. Vi giver jer de varmeste anbefalinger og kommer helt sikkert igen.

06/05/2025: I really liked it! I went because it was recommended to me. Unfortunately, I had to get takeout because I didn't have much time, but the place is very cool and everything is delicious. I tried a classic local bread and a coffee 🫶🏼

07/05/2025: Delicious brunch. Dear tea, as it was not properly hot. Orange juice was just from a carton. A happy one cost DKK 40 and then it was completely full of ice cream. The serving was not over at any time. Payment only at the bar.

03/05/2025: Via our Airbnb host we got refered to this restaurant, and what a good reference that was! Not many words are needed to say that the atmosphere is nice and cosy, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and -most importantly- the food is of very high quality. I never in my life ate such a tender steak! Not exactly cheap, but worth every krona! Would recommend to everyone looking for a good restaurant in or around the Grindsted area. Not sure if reservation is needed, but given that it was completely full it would be good to do so.
