14/11/2025: I recently spent 10 days in Copenhagen and dinner at Maple was the best food/dining experience by far - this place has a 4.9 rating for a reason. While the food was exceptional (I had the chicken thighs and the crème brûlée and can’t recommend them enough) and the ambience is great as well, the absolute stand-out is the service. All the staff (but especially Pia and Johanna, who are just wonderful) are kind, friendly, and patiently explained the dishes on the menu to help me choose. Pia was also very helpful and patient in letting me taste a few different wines before I finally chose one. Overall 12/10 experience. I suggest you get a reservation because (very understandably), Maple is quite busy.

04/07/2025: Too dark - almost tripped at cloak room. Maybe can hire 1-2 more staff. Response time is slow. Water is DK20/person (studio x kitchen on Dronnigens provides 4 pitchers of water free). Food was ok.

11/11/2025: Restaurant Valdemar has maintained a good level the times I have visited them. I expect an average restaurant experience (based on price and "cafe" impression) and generally find that the food served exceeds my expectations with slightly better food craftsmanship and presentation.

06/10/2025: First time at Brønshøj Bistro. Super delicious food, atmosphere, service and quality... - but unfortunately I was reminded of the same strange mistake that Vanløse Bistro also had the last time I was there: Why should I sit and drink wine from a half-decent water mug? Beer is also served in the same mugs, which is also a bit of a "cheat". Wine in a wine glass, beer in a beer glass. It's a mockery of the wine to just serve it that way and it ruins the experience. Practice

04/09/2025: As German tourists, staying in Brønshøj by accident, we were lucky to have this great place in the neighbourhood. We chose to have the full menu for our last dinner in Copenhagen. The food was just GREAT - every course that was served was so yummy, well prepared and we just loved it. We would definetely recommend this place!!!!! The service was more than friendly and yes, it‘s not a cheap restaurant - but worth every DKK we payed. If we ever come back, we‘d also come back to this wonderful bistro! And the main dish - wow, waking all the senses, mouth watering, both filling yet light on the stomach. The house red wine complimented the dinner superbly. 16/02/2025: Jeg havde fornøjelsen af at nyde en søndagsmiddag på Kollerup Mølle Kro, og det var en virkelig dejlig oplevelse! Allerede ved ankomsten blev vi mødt af den hyggelige og charmerende atmosfære på kroen. Det er en helt speciel stemning her, med den historiske bygning og den varme indretning, der får en til at føle sig velkommen med det samme. Vi valgte den 3-retters menu, og maden var virkelig lækker. Hver ret var både smukt anrettet og smagte vidunderligt. Jeg kunne især godt lide forretten, som var frisk og velsmagende, og hovedretten – en saftig steg med perfekt tilbehør – var lige hvad man håbede på. Desserten var en skøn afslutning på måltidet, let og sød uden at være for tung. Betjeningen var også upåklagelig. Personalet var opmærksomme, venlige og gjorde alt for at sikre, at vi havde en god oplevelse. Det føltes næsten som at spise hjemme hos nogen, der virkelig tager sig tid til at forkæle gæsterne. Alt i alt var det en fantastisk middag, og jeg kan klart anbefale Kollerup Mølle Kro til en hyggelig og lækker søndagsmiddag. Jeg ser frem til at komme tilbage og opleve det igen!

07/12/2025: I had forgotten all about El Meson. Haven't been here in 8 years, but it's still just as cozy and has delicious food. The atmosphere just made us slow down and enjoy our food and a nice chat. We chose the tapas menu, which was a great 'tour' around Spanish cuisine.

02/12/2025: Best tapas in Denmark! Have been to El Meson many times and keep coming back. The food tastes authentic and is always fresh!😍 Plus the service is always top notch! Huge huge recommendation from here!

16/10/2025: A really nice café in the heart of Sønderho. On a nice day, you can sit on the outdoor terrace and enjoy a beer. Daily specials are available until 3:00 PM. The food is extremely delicious and beautifully presented. The price-performance ratio is good. They offer a small menu with meat/fish and vegetarian dishes. The burger is obviously particularly popular. I had fish with a delicious sauce. Would you like to? The service staff are very friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable and can recommend this café/restaurant without reservation.

06/12/2025: A Wonderful Lunch at Wrap House I had an absolutely amazing lunch today at Wrap House. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a lovely view from the window that made the whole experience feel even more enjoyable. I ordered a bowl that was beautifully presented and full of fresh, vibrant ingredients — perfectly cooked beef, creamy avocado, quinoa, edamame, and fresh spring onions, all balanced with a slice of lime. Every bite was flavorful and satisfying. It was one of those meals that not only tastes great but also feels good and nourishing. To make it even better, I paired it with a bottle of alcohol-free Nozeco, which was refreshing and complemented the meal perfectly. Overall, Wrap House delivered an exceptional lunch — delicious food, great presentation, and a relaxing atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!
