It was cold inside and it was definitely drawing in stars. You couldn't keep warm if you sat by one of the big windows.
01/01/2026: Amazing owner and staff! So helpful, in times of need;) The salad was particularly lovely, and ever so crispy. Would definitely go back!

19/02/2026: The ice skate rink is good and have a nice view but my experience was terrible. The person who was behind the counter was extremely rude with my wife and my daughter in two distinct ocasions but to speak with me, he became chilled and calm. I'm not sure if the guy was high on coke, hangover or if he is just rude like that with womans. After i tell him off, he disappeared and another man came to "replace" him and looked "very surprised" when I told him about what happened with his colleague.
19/02/2026: Plus for a central location, minus for size and it's usually crowded. Good for casual meeting with friends, not necessarily for a great ice skating experience.

15/05/2026: Nope. Overpriced fastfood quality. Do NOT eat fish, unless you want to vomit all night.
Maybe for drinks it's fine, want to eat something good, go somewhere else.

12/03/2026: We visited Fauna on March 5th. We will not repeat that. The starter was mushrooms on toast. The bread was soggy and the mushrooms were full of sand. We had guinea fowl with side dishes. The chicken was not cooked at all. Not edible. A really bad experience that should not be repeated. Our table was booked for Kurt Svendsen.

28/03/2026: We were completely forgotten in the middle of the party. We waited an hour and 15 minutes from when we finished the main course until we got the dessert. In addition, there was a lot of noise in the restaurant.
08/03/2026: I have been visiting Slap Af a lot of times, most often with great pleasure, finding the food delicious, and much better than what could be expected at the reasonable price. In the last year or two, however, we have also experienced less attentive service and servings of lesser quality. It is not so much a decline, rather varied qualitym, depending of who has tghe watch the perticular day.

We needed a place to eat near Horsens on a Friday evening in May, the day turned out to be windy and rainy.
Amalielund Mad delivered the goods well.
Delicious food in reasonable quantities, served with a friendly smile, beautiful view of the landscape, polite staff, who were also wonderfully service-minded and good at guiding a couple of tourists to reach our destination in an easy way.
Would happily return there again 🙂

16/05/2026: The food is really delicious. With the service its super 50/50. Sometimes I see the sweetest and most welcoming lady serving there and sometimes you almost feel like you are disturbing by coming to eat. The food is still worth it tho
