13/10/2024: Visited on 12-10-24. There were a lot of people, a lot of noise, not much fun, the food was nothing to write home about. The 2 girls who stood in front / the bar did what they could, there were many of us who were up and asked at the bar if we would be served soon. So a recommendation from here: more staff, more management, noise reduction and raise the quality of the food, then it will be a super restaurant.

15/10/2024: Got some completely raw burgers. Service took forever and they didnt seem to care much. But at least it was expensive!

04/10/2024: Sweet staff, but we had to wait a total of 3 hours from the time we arrived before we got our dessert despite the fact that all 3 dishes were ordered in advance. The food was good, but not worth the wait.

17/02/2024: The place does not exist. We had booked a table for tonight. Got a reminder about our reservation yesterday. Turned up today to the closed eatery. Addressed us in Rebelli, which unfortunately had no room for us. You could have offered us a new dinner or a cup of hot coffee. A little to learn maybe😁 Good evening after all.

21/10/2023: Bestilte Ripeye, fik 4 udskårede tynde skiver. Virkelig skuffende taget betragtning af prisen. Skuffende.

30/10/2024: We bought a hot cocoa hoping to get warm outside in the cold. We ended up disappointed and colder than before. We paid DKK 55! For a small cup which was 50/50 lukewarm matilde cocoa and the other half was banana whipped cream. Add! Nice employees - bad cocoa

23/09/2024: Great harbor snack. Tasty, reasonable prices, friendly service and suitable surroundings with the sound of the sea. People like to go here on vacation.

17/08/2024: Fab place to sit and watch boats and people go by. Great vibe. But that said…. 40 kr for a soft drink is insane - and the variety of food on offer is not that great and its as expensive as Reffen.

10/08/2024: Il posto è una normalissima piazzetta con dei food truck, carino ma non tipico. Di danese c’è solo uno stand, tutto il resto è cucina greca, messicana, inglese, etc. Noi abbiamo preso il fish and chips dallo stand Haddock’s e l’abbiamo lasciato lì: fritto nell’olio del motore, “fish” non identificabile e calamari che erano gomma dentro e fuori così secchi da sbriciolarsi in mano. Veramente pessimo. Costato circa €20, per €5-10 in più c’erano tanti posti lungo il Nyhavn sicuramente più tipici e più buoni.

22/10/2024: Nice atmosphere and location but beyond that a huge disappointment. The food didn’t taste good and my girlfriend felt sick during the night. We made the waiter aware of the food and we were offered a cup of coffee. When we received the bill we then realise that the tap water cost us 40 kr which is just outrageous. When you pay with your card it defaults to add a 15% tip unless you see a very small button that allows you to skip. Kind a crazy when tipping is not customary in Denmark so it feels almost like a tourist trap considering its location. Avoid this place!

19/10/2024: Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience at Bistro Central. We arrived with a stroller, because our baby was sleeping inside, but the waitress refused to find us a place, under the pretext that the stroller took up too much space, even though there was obviously space available. She asked us to put the stroller outside, next to the bikes, and wake our baby to place her next to it. When we explained that this was not an option, she simply referred us to another cafe nearby. We found this very disrespectful and inappropriate, especially in a place that is supposed to be family friendly. A real disappointment.

17/08/2024: Exceptionally beautifully situated golf course by Mariager Fjord. Exciting and challenging course with a number of narrow holes surrounded by trees. Good restaurant and terrace with a view of the fjord. In addition, a really good par3 course with 9 beautifully situated holes.

14/08/2024: Var forbi til søndagsbuffet forleden - til en pris, der er til at forstå: 199 kroner. Man skal så bare vide, at den absolut heller ikke er mere værd. Man får det man betaler for. Ligegyldige frikadeller, kedeligt rugbrød og en særdeles intetsigende is til dessert.

26/10/2024: All in all.. delicious food and good service.

20/10/2024: Havde glædet os meget til at spise den forudbestilte og betalte menu, inden vi skulle i Royal Arena. Tjeneren måtte være helt ny. Vi måtte gentage vores bestillinger adskillige gange. Vi endte med at drikke vores ‘ before dinner drinks’ til forretten og ikke hvidvin. Laksen var god. Vi fik brød, men havde ingen tallerkener. Ingen vand. Han kom med den forkerte rødvin. Og insisterede på at det var den rigtige, for så efter at vi for 3. gang pegede på den ellers ret så kendte ‘Charneuf de Pape’, indrømmede at han havde taget fejl. Der var desværre masser af andre småfejl og da maden, udover laksen, var på det jævne, var helhedsoplevelsen desværre under middel. Desuden undrede vi os over hvorfor man har en ret stor TV skærm, der er tændt, hængende i den ellers ret så pæne restaurant? Det skal siges, at vi blev færdige med middagen i tide, så vi kunne nå vores arrangement i Royal Arena, hvilket vi var glade for.

16/10/2024: Sweet service, lousy pricy food

27/12/2023: We were denied service here because we are Black. Waitress first didn’t want to seat us; then reluctantly showed us to table in near-empty restaurant. Without ever giving us menus or flatware, the waitress refused to serve our table. After she waited on other diners who came in after us, we asked the manager for another waiter. The next waitress rolled her eyes at she took our order. We waited 30 minutes without her ever coming back, even as she made multiple visits to every other table in her area. She and other waitstaff served every other patron, including many who came in after us. We eventually left and were given nasty looks as we left. When we asked the manager again, he pretended he couldn’t hear us. While we were standing in front of him. He clearly spoke English and we also spoke Danish, Spanish, French, Italian, Norwegian, and German. Tried all those languages. Nasty place.

08/09/2024: Absolutely horrible and excruciatingly slow service which almost cost us our train. Just don't come there.

01/08/2024: Don't leave your luggage there under any circumstances. It's the biggest rip-off!!!

27/10/2024: Very poor service. After few attempt, I wasn’t sure if I’d come here for a lunch or a game of ‘let’s see if they remember.’ The staff’s enthusiasm is on par with a cat in a bathtub, and if you’re hoping for attention… bring a flashlight. To their credit, the food was good overall Except with the over salty and unbalanced beef tartare. PS : thanks to the chef who came to our table himself to bring a forgotten dish and clear out our at least 15min old empty plates. He was the only one apologizing for the waitress’s mistakes.

26/10/2024: Just by looking at the pictures, you can see how beautiful the place is and how delicious the food looks—it’s a no-brainer. But when it comes to the service and overall experience, it was truly next level. We went there two weeks ago for a quick stop&go and to take some pictures, so we ordered a latte, a croissant (which was delicious), and a sparkling water. After waiting for 20 minutes, we went inside to check on our order. Youssef turned pale and immediately apologized for forgetting it. Within two minutes, everything was on our table. Youssef apologized again and said, ‘It’s our fault, this is on us.’ A café or restaurant isn’t just about the food; it’s also about the service and the experience. Apollo Bar, and especially Youssef, demonstrated how it should be done. A place you can’t miss in Copenhagen.
