18/03/2025: We tried the Ålbæk burger with 250 g of beef and high-quality bun and we give it full marks for the taste and portion size.

23/09/2024: Great harbor snack. Tasty, reasonable prices, friendly service and suitable surroundings with the sound of the sea. People like to go here on vacation.

16/04/2025: Well-kept place with a very nice reception. Challenging in terms of sport, as some of the lanes are very narrow. The driver is not always the best choice here. 5 tokens for 100 Dkr are ok, the range offers enough space to practice. The view over the fjord is very beautiful.

12/04/2025: We had brunch for 62 people. Everything was simply missing, i.e. there were always 4-5 dishes missing, it was a classic brunch and bake off bread, it was definitely not worth the money. But a nice view, I think that's what you paid for

18/04/2025: Påskefrokost. Meget skuffet, det mindede om en kedelig omgang kantinemad på jobbet, bare med mindre udvalg og uden smag. Tarteletfyldet var alt for salt og de havde gudhjælpemig brugt kylling i tern, så det havde virkelig den der storkøkkenagtige industrimadsfornemmelse. Betænkelig hygiejne: Normalt forventer man rigeligt håndsprit strategisk placeret, så folk bruger det HVER GANG de henter mad, men det var placeret ved indgangsdøren, så vi var vist de eneste der besværede os med at spritte af. Der var i øvrigt hældt almindelig sprit i håndspritbeholderne. Selvom det virker efter hensigten er det en discountløsning, som både stinker og er hård ved huden. Endelig var der alt for mange mennesker i lokalet, så der var meget varmt og en larm, der gjorde det svært at føre en samtale. Teksten på deres hjemmeside er lovende, men evnerne lever tydeligvis slet ikke op til ambitionerne.

24/03/2025: Really good buffet with everything you need and you can only leave full from there. The staff are fresh and are really friendly. Fair prices and a good view over the sea.

21/05/2025: Very cozy place and really nice food. We were 6 people and celebrated a birthday 🇩🇰. I got 2 dishes, carpaccio for starter and beef cuvette for main course and fries for side dish. It was all really delicious, especially the meat. I think I got a little extra meat, since the last 3 pieces had a tendon. But it didn't matter. Others also got tartar and beetroot for starters. And for main course fish of the day and burger. For dessert some got creme brulee and brownie. Everything tasted very good. Follow me for more tips about Aarhus and other places

24/03/2025: They cooked the food for a party and the main course was terrible, the meat was tough and full of tendons - inedible, it was hard to cut and I felt like I was choking on the meat :) Otherwise the rest was really good :)

09/02/2025: Vi besøgte Restaurant Dauphine i forbindelse med Gastro Week, hvor restauranten tilbød en tre-retters menu til 299 kr. En prisvenlig menu, men desværre uden meget “gastro” over oplevelsen. Servicen var generelt venlig og imødekommende, men maden levede ikke op til forventningerne. Forrettens fisk var desværre overtilberedt, hvilket gjorde den tør og kedelig. Den tilhørende porresuppe var nærmest smagsløs og manglede tydeligt salt og tilsmagning. Hovedretten, svinekæbe, var druknet i en alt for dominerende syrlig sauce, som ligeledes savnede balance og krydring. Oven i det blev der hældt endnu en stor klat sauce på retten, hvilket overdøvede smagen fuldstændigt. Tilbehøret bidrog desværre ikke med noget nævneværdigt, da det også manglede smag. Desserten bestod af en stor klump pære, som var tæt på smagsløs og ikke tilført nogen form for dybde eller nuancer. Alt i alt en skuffende madoplevelse. Jeg har forståelse for, at en menu til 299 kr. sætter visse begrænsninger, men på en Århusiansk institution som Dauphine burde man forvente mere – både i smag og udførelse. Vinmenuen var dog et positivt indslag og fint afstemt.

25/04/2025: Fantastisk mad! Stort udvalg og alt smagte virkelig godt! Der var en særdeles god atmosfære og komforten var i top. Kan klart anbefales 😊 Vi tog ud en gruppe venner for fejring af en fødselsdag. De havde lavet en lille fejl med sodavand, men det var intet problem at få fixet! Personalet var søde og meget venlig

26/01/2025: The atmosphere was nice, the buildings were picturesque and semi-well-kept, and the evening's waitress was well informed and polite. Here is where the compliments stop. The overall price for an overnight stay is way above what should be charged considering the following. The first thing we met on the way into the reception was a food safety report issued by the government, giving the restaurant a "sad smile", meaning the lowest standard of hygiene.... The evening meal was standard, it lacked self-esteem. In other words boring. The room itself was nice enough though the heating was down so low on arrival it was freezing. [ winter ] There are no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms, and two wine glasses were all that were on offer. [ and need to be wadhed] All in all, way to pricey for what you receive. Give it a miss.

08/03/2025: Jag har sällan varit med om så fruktansvärt dålig service som på denna restaurang. Vi kom dit och beställde dryck, som kom snabbt, men sedan började problemen. Vi beställde burrata och vanligt bröd med ost samtidigt som våra drinkar. Efter att ha väntat i 55 minuter utan någon som helst information frågade vi personalen om vår mat. Svaret? De skrattade åt oss och gick därifrån – utan förklaring, utan ursäkt. Det mest frustrerande var att restaurangen hade massor av personal på plats, men ändå verkade ingen ha koll på något. Vi såg fyra personer stå tillsammans för att göra en enda kaffe, samtidigt som vår mat aldrig kom ut. Det var uppenbart att effektivitet och service inte var deras prioritet. Som om det inte vore nog hade de dessutom lagt till en dryck på notan som vi inte beställt. När vi påpekade detta och bad att få den borttagen möttes vi av tvekan och ifrågasättande. När vi till slut försökte få en lösning på den orimliga väntetiden blev vi bara fnysta åt och ignorerade. Personalen gick bort till baren, skrattade och sneglade på oss – otroligt oprofessionellt och respektlöst. Den här typen av beteende är oacceptabelt i en restaurangmiljö. Att ignorera gäster, skratta åt deras frågor och inte ens be om ursäkt för en enorm försening visar på extremt dålig service och total brist på respekt. Jag rekommenderar starkt att ledningen ser över sitt bemötande och vidtar åtgärder – annars kommer fler gäster att lämna med samma hemska upplevelse som vi.

07/01/2025: We tried the evening menu through Tipster for DKK 270. per person – a price that is definitely at the budget-friendly end. So without the high expectations, I was just hoping to leave full and maybe even with something that tasted good. But it was not to be. The food was incredibly beautifully presented - I have rarely seen such beautiful food in this price range. Unfortunately, this was also where the experience peaked. The taste? Let's say that the bitterness from the radicchio salad was the only one of the five basic tastes that stood out. And when you are at a restaurant, you expect the food to be well-balanced, so that it is not necessary to ask for salt or lemon to save the dish. The chickpea fritter was completely devoid of flavour, and the aioli - well, it had neither the richness of the mayo nor the character of the garlic. The radish salad/carpaccio? Again incredibly beautiful and inviting. But the taste? Not exactly something that sparks the imagination. The only dish that actually tasted of anything was the "main course" with fish and elderflower fumé. Out of seven dishes, it was the one that gave a real taste experience. If you're looking for a place to spice up your Instagram story with aesthetic food photos, this is the place for you. But if you're looking for a culinary experience, you should probably look no further. After all, the wine was good and (fortunately) kept the spirits high.

20/04/2025: We were here on 20/04/2025 and there are many things that do not play at all... Absolutely nothing professional about the employees. Nor a uniform so that you can separate them from the other guests Our drinks came after we had to go up and ask for them after waiting too long. Even if you ordered a small soda, you got it in a large glass. Also, you didn't have white wine either... as we were only told when drinks had finally arrived the buffet wasn't anything to shout about either.. everything was dry and boring... the staff took a long time to replenish the food The food was also under cooked. The toilets were incredibly disgusting too… The menu cards were also dirty We entered the restaurant from the backyard and there we were greeted by a trash can that had been opened and all the trash was lying and flowing with leftover food and other things... incredibly unappetizing…. Unfortunately, this experience means that we will not come again. We were otherwise very happy with the restaurant.

20/04/2025: We had a really bad experience on Sunday 20 April 2025 at the lunch buffet... when we came in, the yard was unusually dirty as the contents of a bin had spilled out and were scattered all over the yard together with countless filled plastic bags that were also full of food waste. In addition, the service was unusually slow.. we were almost finished with the food when the drinks finally arrived. Only negative things can be said about the food. Cold and tasteless. Most of the buffet contained ready-made fried products, the fish was of an indeterminate type. The food was lukewarm and badly, the children wanted ice cream but it was not possible.. the place was dirty, the menu cards disgusting and smeared in strange things.. not to mention the toilets.. paper flowed everywhere, maybe that's why there was no toilet paper and towels for general use. Definitely the last time we go there..

25/05/2025: Food and drinks were on point! Our bartender/waiter was very accommodating. We don't know his name, but it was a young African American male. He helped navigate us through what we may like on the menu and neither of us were disappointed. If you're ever in the area you should stop here and get you some great food and drinks. Btw, the Old Fashioned was on point.

10/05/2025: We had a really good experience at Restaurant Bark in the Crowne Plaza. The food was delicious and well prepared, and the service was first class – attentive, friendly and professional throughout. The atmosphere could be better though; the decor and atmosphere felt a bit sterile and lacked warmth. But it's probably a bit difficult to do anything about.

10/02/2025: iBagel is a convenient souvenir and snack shop which serves a variety of sandwiches and beverages. The breakfast bagel was good for a quick grab and go meal.

25/04/2025: If it hadn't been for my enormous hunger, and the kilometer-long queue at Mother Anna's, I probably would have never eaten here. Luckily, I got the lunch offer where you get a burrito (a much worse version of a sharwarma) for 75kr. If it hadn't been for my curiosity about new food, and my duty as a local guide level 6 to try new things, I probably would have just eaten a delicious sharwarma from the sharwarma master, who always delivers a 5 star meal. Good burrito if you're into 80% rice and beans, 20% other things and 0% guacamole 🥑
