17/08/2024: Exceptionally beautifully situated golf course by Mariager Fjord. Exciting and challenging course with a number of narrow holes surrounded by trees. Good restaurant and terrace with a view of the fjord. In addition, a really good par3 course with 9 beautifully situated holes.

08/12/2024: Expensive food that wasn't even of very good quality, and you can feel that the heat is being saved as the dogs were cold. Specifically with the man, the sauce was bad, the salmon rubbery, and then duck and eel were missing for that price. Given the high price of DKK 335, the level of the food should be somewhat higher and the selection somewhat larger. Last remark, the schnapps was insanely expensive for regular OP schnapps. ANSWER TO THE OWNER: Regarding the lack of eel, it's like farmed eel you get and not wild in the shops today, so get back on the horse and try with a new excuse. Also, if you have Salmon and Cod on the table, both fish stocks that have it just as hard here in Denmark as the eels, so maybe think about it. That you don't have duck for Christmas lunch when you have meds and ham is complete nonsense, and ask questions about whether this is a Christmas buffet or just an ordinary Sunday table. The cold is like a clear problem that you haven't chosen to do anything about before building, so you have to be well prepared to freeze even at plus degrees and a little wind. Last but not least, it's amazing to see how proud you are of overcharging for this experience, but we probably won't have to wait long if that's the attitude you have towards customers in general, before a new owner or lessee arrives.

05/03/2025: It's really worth the money, it looks like a super nice place and the food is super good. Things are nicely clean and in order. The prices are quite ok when you look at what is on the menu. I can highly recommend Nordisk Buffet, both for an ordinary cozy trip, but also for an evening with your date. There is really something to choose from, and as mentioned, really good delicious food.

09/02/2025: Vi besøgte Restaurant Dauphine i forbindelse med Gastro Week, hvor restauranten tilbød en tre-retters menu til 299 kr. En prisvenlig menu, men desværre uden meget “gastro” over oplevelsen. Servicen var generelt venlig og imødekommende, men maden levede ikke op til forventningerne. Forrettens fisk var desværre overtilberedt, hvilket gjorde den tør og kedelig. Den tilhørende porresuppe var nærmest smagsløs og manglede tydeligt salt og tilsmagning. Hovedretten, svinekæbe, var druknet i en alt for dominerende syrlig sauce, som ligeledes savnede balance og krydring. Oven i det blev der hældt endnu en stor klat sauce på retten, hvilket overdøvede smagen fuldstændigt. Tilbehøret bidrog desværre ikke med noget nævneværdigt, da det også manglede smag. Desserten bestod af en stor klump pære, som var tæt på smagsløs og ikke tilført nogen form for dybde eller nuancer. Alt i alt en skuffende madoplevelse. Jeg har forståelse for, at en menu til 299 kr. sætter visse begrænsninger, men på en Århusiansk institution som Dauphine burde man forvente mere – både i smag og udførelse. Vinmenuen var dog et positivt indslag og fint afstemt.

08/03/2025: Jag har sällan varit med om så fruktansvärt dålig service som på denna restaurang. Vi kom dit och beställde dryck, som kom snabbt, men sedan började problemen. Vi beställde burrata och vanligt bröd med ost samtidigt som våra drinkar. Efter att ha väntat i 55 minuter utan någon som helst information frågade vi personalen om vår mat. Svaret? De skrattade åt oss och gick därifrån – utan förklaring, utan ursäkt. Det mest frustrerande var att restaurangen hade massor av personal på plats, men ändå verkade ingen ha koll på något. Vi såg fyra personer stå tillsammans för att göra en enda kaffe, samtidigt som vår mat aldrig kom ut. Det var uppenbart att effektivitet och service inte var deras prioritet. Som om det inte vore nog hade de dessutom lagt till en dryck på notan som vi inte beställt. När vi påpekade detta och bad att få den borttagen möttes vi av tvekan och ifrågasättande. När vi till slut försökte få en lösning på den orimliga väntetiden blev vi bara fnysta åt och ignorerade. Personalen gick bort till baren, skrattade och sneglade på oss – otroligt oprofessionellt och respektlöst. Den här typen av beteende är oacceptabelt i en restaurangmiljö. Att ignorera gäster, skratta åt deras frågor och inte ens be om ursäkt för en enorm försening visar på extremt dålig service och total brist på respekt. Jag rekommenderar starkt att ledningen ser över sitt bemötande och vidtar åtgärder – annars kommer fler gäster att lämna med samma hemska upplevelse som vi.

07/01/2025: We tried the evening menu through Tipster for DKK 270. per person – a price that is definitely at the budget-friendly end. So without the high expectations, I was just hoping to leave full and maybe even with something that tasted good. But it was not to be. The food was incredibly beautifully presented - I have rarely seen such beautiful food in this price range. Unfortunately, this was also where the experience peaked. The taste? Let's say that the bitterness from the radicchio salad was the only one of the five basic tastes that stood out. And when you are at a restaurant, you expect the food to be well-balanced, so that it is not necessary to ask for salt or lemon to save the dish. The chickpea fritter was completely devoid of flavour, and the aioli - well, it had neither the richness of the mayo nor the character of the garlic. The radish salad/carpaccio? Again incredibly beautiful and inviting. But the taste? Not exactly something that sparks the imagination. The only dish that actually tasted of anything was the "main course" with fish and elderflower fumé. Out of seven dishes, it was the one that gave a real taste experience. If you're looking for a place to spice up your Instagram story with aesthetic food photos, this is the place for you. But if you're looking for a culinary experience, you should probably look no further. After all, the wine was good and (fortunately) kept the spirits high.

26/01/2025: The atmosphere was nice, the buildings were picturesque and semi-well-kept, and the evening's waitress was well informed and polite. Here is where the compliments stop. The overall price for an overnight stay is way above what should be charged considering the following. The first thing we met on the way into the reception was a food safety report issued by the government, giving the restaurant a "sad smile", meaning the lowest standard of hygiene.... The evening meal was standard, it lacked self-esteem. In other words boring. The room itself was nice enough though the heating was down so low on arrival it was freezing. [ winter ] There are no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms, and two wine glasses were all that were on offer. [ and need to be wadhed] All in all, way to pricey for what you receive. Give it a miss.

10/02/2025: iBagel is a convenient souvenir and snack shop which serves a variety of sandwiches and beverages. The breakfast bagel was good for a quick grab and go meal.

22/02/2025: We have taken a nice weekend in Copenhagen and spent 2 nights at crown plaza We wanted to try restaurant Bark We ordered ribeye with truffle sauce We ordered a glass of red wine and a Tuborg classic The steak was cooked to the hard side with slightly burnt edges We had ordered it medium, but it was next to well done Small potatoes were perfectly fried The salad was crisp and delicious with an adapted oil dressing, the truffle sauce was very thin, could have been a little thicker Sweet and friendly staff Pleasant surroundings

28/01/2025: One of those unlucky time where the staff sits you and then disappeared. When they reappeared, they ignored you. Sat there for a good 15mins where the staff was no where to be seen and when she did appear, she ignored me when I waved at her.

15/11/2023: We were a large company, so perhaps contributing to the slightly sloppy service. However, the food was mediocre, all by itself.

11/12/2023: We were supposed to hold an event at the café in November. The buffet was excellent, but much of the food was store-bought food that was simply heated. A bit disappointing. The service from the youth workers was quite nice, but the service, from what I assume is the owner, was service-abandoned. No interest in providing any kind of service. We got the feeling that we were a nuisance by coming. In any case, we don't want to arrange anything down there another time.. Our guests also commented that she was rude - both to them, but also to her employees. The youth workers also seemed to be slightly "afraid" of her. At one point, she was sitting at a table next to the bar with some friends, directing the youth workers what to do. It's not a very good signal to send to your guests.

09/12/2023: My boyfriend and I had called down to the cafe to ask if we could use our smartbox at them. Our smartbox rang for brunch for 2 people. We are told by an employee on the phone that it applies to both people and that we can just come down and have brunch and then "pay" with our smartbox. When we have eaten and have to go over and "pay", they suddenly want us to pay DKK 189 for the food. My girlfriend and I say that we have called and been told that smartbox one applies to both of us. So we will not pay. After some time where we have discussed with the employees, we are allowed to leave without paying any more. It's a shame that it has to spoil our experience. We will never buy a smartbox again or go to that cafe.
