19/02/2026: A bit of a strange experience.. we were there as part of Dining Week, so we expected an experience that could act as an "advertisement" for the restaurant and make you want to come back.. unfortunately we didn't have that when we left.. the food was okay, there just wasn't enough and the portions were very different in size, so my boyfriend's dessert was half the size of mine.. the waiters weren't very attentive and asked if we were ready for dessert when they cleared away our starters.. I agree that it's busy when it's Dining Week and that you don't necessarily get the full experience, but I didn't expect us to leave hungry..

15/02/2026: For that price you feel a bit cheated but the taste was nice and the atmosphere was perfect but the portions are nowhere near filling enough. So buy a durum on the way there or from there.

16/06/2025: Nydelig mat! Veldig god carpaccio til forrett og en stor porsjon med perfekt tilberedt oksekjøtt til hovedrett. Crispy chips og en luftig bernaise som gjorde dette til en svært god opplevelse. Vi fikk også en god start med bobler og dansk flagg på bordet! Hyggelige priser og store porsjoner med mat.

14/06/2025: Maden var god, servicen og stemningen i top, priserne rimelige. Men akustikken var elendig og gjorde det svært at høre, hvad sidemanden sagde. Jeg kunne godt finde på at booke her igen, men så ville det være på en af de roligere dage… måske i dagstid.

12/10/2025: Worth a visit yesterday, even on a Saturday in October! We sat outside in the sun and ate a delicious hot dog 👌😀 and drank a beer. The owner was very friendly. Thank you!!

07/10/2025: Unfortunately, it was the only thing available that was open. Just fast food and deep-fried food. Then the whole order got mixed up. Okay, that's human and can happen anywhere. But please, buy some greens!

14/12/2025: Highly overrated. Normal food highly overpriced. Very bad service, very slow and forgetful. I don’t recommend unless you have spare money to spend just for the location.

30/01/2026: Bought a burrito and some tortilla chips. The tortilla on the burrito was tougher than leather which made it difficult to eat and enjoy the food. The tortilla chips have no salt on them but sprinkled with a little paprika powder. Doesn't taste good

08/03/2026: We were four people - and had been looking forward to a good experience! It wasn't. There is no reasonable relationship between price and quality - not to mention quantity. ONLY visit Dauphine if you are NOT hungry. In particular, the main course was smaller than expected or a child's portion. with COLD small pieces of Jerusalem artichokes. The squash course tasted bad - to my taste. The dessert tasted good - but the lentil base was poor and probably bought in a supermarket. Dear Dauphine: I don't think you can be familiar with it. Not at all harmony between price, quantity and quality. Regretted we had driven almost 200 km - to visit you regards. peder kirkeby

21/02/2026: Had read the good reviews and chose Dauphine for our trip out to the Aarhus food scene in connection with Dining Week. Unfortunately, the evening was characterized by the need to rush through, and that the chosen menu should be easy to reheat and serve. The starter was not balanced - large temperature differences between the cold and the hot on the plate, the main ingredient, a "salmon terrine" of some kind, had not been out of the fridge long enough. The main course was unacceptably small, but otherwise tasty. The dessert was quite ok. But again, the feeling that it was just a matter of serving pre-cooked food prepared for the hordes permeated the experience. Unfortunately, the service was not good either. We were received by a man who was clearly not used to being in the restaurant (kitchen?), he barely said hello, did not point out a wardrobe in the somewhat narrow space, was not present and was in a hurry to move on, could not advise on a simple level regarding the choice of wine, "it was a white wine", no one ever asked if it tasted good or if it was satisfactory, no one came and asked if the drinks needed to be refilled, a woman suddenly came and cleared the table and reached over us without a single expression, no words, no one said what was going to happen next (pre-ordered 3-course menu). We approached the serious draft from the window facing the street, where we were sitting right up and down. The winter weather was really taking hold, but we asked nicely if it was possible to get another table, because it was raw cold for the legs to sit up against a leaky window at full height. It was swept away pretty quickly without making an impression. I don't usually write reviews, and am usually pretty generous as long as people make an effort and/or are nice and friendly, and the food is reasonable, but the whole experience just wasn't good and we couldn't finish fast enough. We won't be coming here again, although a regular a la carte evening is probably a different experience.

03/11/2025: The atmosphere and staff were amazing! The food - not so much. The mushrooms in the risotto were not good. It was also strange to get both dill, parsley and arugula.

20/10/2025: Nice place at first glance, waited for reviews but have now had three separate visits, with different staff. The first time the order was missed, the dishes that were "the same" had completely different levels, layout, proportions and flavors. The second visit we were left standing at the entrance and waiting for service for over 20 minutes, chickens were buzzing inside the service, and far from full. The third visit, the veal tenderloin is ordered for its own part, medium, but comes in what I consider to be a definitive well-done, completely even in color, dry. When questioned, we get "this is how we do medium, in that case you would have ordered rare." Somewhat saved by the fact that the meat quality seems good. The burgers are boring, dry and tasteless, salt/pepper does not seem to be used, fries though, here they seem to have found the salt, too much. Along with the food, beer was also ordered, which arrived a good while after the food was finished. The portions are uneven in size, potatoes for 65 Danish kroner and get a small click.

28/10/2025: Omg this place reminded me of home back in atlanta Georgia. The bagel was so soft and swear they had to make the cream cheese . The young lady was so nice I remember name but I will get it tomorrow

30/09/2025: Unbelievably delicious food. Our Ukrainian girls are great, Regina, thank you for the delicious lunch. The next day, we went on a cruise, and I told everyone where you can eat deliciously in Copenhagen 👏❤️

15/03/2026: Food in buffet for half an hour. Stood in line most of the time to get empty plates and bowls. Very disappointing experience

07/03/2026: Stay away. No/extremely poor service. No food replenishment. We waited over an hour for fish in vain. Meat cutting slow and very small pieces. Staff seemed incompetent and did not respond to inquiries. No toilet paper at both ends and water coming up the drain. I cannot recommend the place.

07/11/2025: Unfortunately I can't recommend that. The double bed was very soft and only 140 cm wide and the room wasn't much bigger. Dark and small, and there were missing light bulbs in several of the lamps. Only the breakfast was good.

07/11/2025: I would give 0 stars if I could. They are simply not to be relied upon. We wanted to be sure we had the rooms so we booked 6 rooms a little over a year ago. We could easily do that. When we wanted to double check that we had the rooms, they had booked them out to others. We could get two rooms instead.... not quite enough. I have not tried to stay at the hotel, so I do not know anything about the food or rooms. But judging from how unprofessional they have been from our point of view, I doubt it can be very good. I would not book anything from there again Just do yourself a favor and google who owns the place. Our experience of them fully lives up to the image you have of them when you read up on them.
