28/08/2024: Don't be put off by bad reviews! I had a great dinner at Restaurant Summer! The food was really delicious and well prepared, with fresh ingredients and great side dishes that made every bite a pleasure. The drinks were equally impressive, with a good selection of wines that matched the food perfectly. What really set the place apart was the amazing view – it was a pleasure to enjoy the food with such a beautiful backdrop. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff were friendly and attentive. I can highly recommend restarurante summer for a nice evening out.

28/08/2024: Beautiful place to have lunch in Allinge.. The atmosphere and service is really good. The sandwich could be better.

10/11/2024: You can't allow yourselves to charge DKK 34 for 4 rolls which are light as a feather with no content and no taste, so we just buy our rolls in the layer cake house where you get 5 for DKK 35 and they are of high quality and weigh twice as much and tastes of something

24/08/2024: We were cheated! Expensive twin room with sea view was a mess. Lack of ventilation, The door could only be opened halfway when the bed hit it. Only one socket in the "room" and a phone was on charge, the door could not be opened. 🙈 A broken toilet for all rooms to share and a shower full of mold. We had ordered a room for two people and three dogs. The dogs had to sleep in the car because there was no space!

23/07/2024: I must say that I was a little disappointed when I arrived and saw that the room I was assigned was not what I had seen in the advertisements for the place. But Bornholm is one of the most wonderful places to spend a holiday.

11/07/2024: Der stod på hjemmesiden at de havde åben, der var lukket, så vi måtte finde et andet sted. Det var rigtig arveligt for det lød ellers godt🫤

22/10/2024: Never ever experienced such bad service as in Alcudia general. It’s like they hate the tourists that pay their salary. This place though, wins the medal for absolutely worst. Asking to see the Madrid-Atalanta match outside. Theres no one sitting there, and their showing Leeds-Middlesbrough. His reply: “see the match inside or go” …woooow..

20/08/2024: I am amused by the horrified reviews from people who apparently didn't know what they were getting into until beforehand. I mean, the place screams 80s, time warp and old routines. I can easily talk about sourdough pastries from Andersen, Juno, Alice and Hart in Copenhagen, but none of them offer what Thorsen offers; a bit of the old days. The bread should preferably be weighed on a gram scale, smeared with Kærgården butter or 3-star salami and slathered in the corner of the mouth. And the dear baker Thorsen is based on those parameters. When reviewers write about 'Denmark's worst baker', it is because baker Thorsen is probably the last one left of his kind. When Thorsen turns the key, it is a farewell to a simpler time, where everything does not have to be measured and weighed and accounted for. I recommend visiting Bager Thorsen for the total experience of the 80s baker.

09/08/2024: We visited the restaurant at lunchtime and sat down as a couple with our dog at a shady table for four. The terrace was completely empty except for one other couple. Shortly afterwards we were asked by the service to move to a table for two. Our request to stay in the shade and not sit in the back row of an almost empty restaurant was ignored. The unwavering stubbornness of the waitress finally caused us to leave the restaurant. In the nearby “Levertran”, however, we were warmly welcomed and were even allowed to sit at a table for six. Conclusion: The service in this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Hospitality looks different.

14/09/2024: Was there with camp school and would like to recommend the place. Good outdoor areas, good and proper food. (High camp school standard). Accommodating, service-minded and skilled owners with good knowledge of Bornholm. The rooms are as they are now in a hostel, but perfectly fine.

01/08/2024: Lovely charming centrally located older hotel. Rooms are large, beautiful and good beds. Breakfast is very delicious and lacks nothing. The staff are local, sweet, smiling and accommodating. Have been here several times and will definitely come again
