13/09/2026: The hollandaise did not taste like it was made with butter, but margerine instead. Bread underneath the eggs florentine was totally boring. My friend’s croque monsieur was too black (and so was the shrimp toast on our neighboring table, where the lady was trying to scrape the black crust off). Service also poor. Friendly enough, but just too inexperienced to make it anywhere near professional. Will not go again.

05/10/2026: A really rude english speaking bartender, I've never experienced such a bad service. He made me want to leave just few moments after entering the place. The result was me not buying anything and stopping my friends from buying anything else. Do not recommend.

25/08/2026: We were on a bike ride - grandson of 12 years and 2 "grandchildren". After lunch for about 800 kr we are going to continue cycling - so grandson asks if he can fill up his water bottle. No - he can't. He has to buy a bottle of water. We didn't. What a service.

24/09/2026: Super cozy place. Good friendly and welcoming service. Only had a delicious coffee. The only thing is that the cleaning in general could probably be better. But otherwise a nice homely place. Try their Matcha, Chai, Golden Latte. Very authentic. Not just syrup like in Espresso House or other chains…😘

05/10/2026: Hi, I was visiting café baryl with my 1 month old son. I think your service is super poor, there was a mistake in the order and when I was sitting outside with some friends and my child, I went in and said that my order was wrong. The waiter asked me to come in with my plate, instead of picking it up and giving me a new one. When I explicitly told her that I was sitting with a newborn baby, and if she couldn't come out and pick up the plate; she did so. I also didn't get new cutlery or napkins, so I had to go in several times. Your waiters are also not particularly visible to the guests sitting outside if you need anything. The price is far too high for what you get for the money, including your drinks. I ordered a lunch plate, and there is so much green basil on it that you don't eat to create volume, sprinkled with almonds and olives. The crispbread with "vegan" tuna was delicious but 199 kr. for such a plate is far too expensive. You don't get what you pay for in any way. The chia porridge had no taste other than the foam and the strawberries on top. Unfortunately I won't be visiting you again. For example, if you want to buy a simple item on the menu, the price is so high that it's not worth it, compared to the lunch plate.

03/10/2026: The best place for brunch in Frederiksberg!!! Never knew this existed so close to my house. Had their brunch menu which consisted of avacado toast, eggs and the chia pudding was just next level. Loved the cream frosting with cinnamon sprinkles. Also, tried their sourdough bread with cheese and was good with perfect crisp. Staff was also helpful in getting a table as I had not done any reservation.

22/06/2026: Great place and always a pleasure. But why this nonsense about tips! That I have to choose 10, 15 or 20% because the bartender pours 2 beers. I know I can press "no thanks", but it's a bad habit that shouldn't be there at all. Paying people tips for doing their job

25/09/2026: Small cozy coffee shop by the S-train. The woman who runs it is so sweet and welcoming, and the coffee is really good. They also serve good buns and a few other things. And if you need to buy some blonster on the way home, they have that too.

19/10/2026: My experience at this establishment was profoundly disappointing, and it has done little to inspire confidence in the broader Reinh. Van Hauen brand. I ordered a cappuccino and was served what appeared to be little more than scalding boiling milk, falling well short of what one would reasonably expect from a coffee costing plus 45 kroner. At that price point, a basic level of care, preparation, and consistency should be a given, not an unreasonable expectation. What makes the experience particularly frustrating is the apparent disconnect between the price charged and the quality delivered. A premium price naturally invites premium expectations; when even the fundamentals of a cappuccino seem to have been overlooked, the result is not merely disappointing but difficult to justify. A polished storefront and premium pricing mean very little if the product fails to meet the most basic expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a properly prepared coffee, and I would think twice before visiting another branch of the same brand.

24/09/2026: The best tacos in town. Authentic tacos, excellent gringas. Outstanding vegan and vegetarian options. Staff is so lovely. We come again and again!

26/08/2026: Had the nachos with dip. Which was super good. Actually spread cheese not just a bunch on top. The tacos are phenomenal, the burritos are enormous and still good. But honestly. Just get the tacos. They are so delicious. The service was great too. Will come again for the endless tacos

02/10/2026: Ku.Be is conceptually a wonderful place: a free indoor vertical playground where kids can roam safely from morning till evening. It also has a café, where parents can sit down, relax and possibly finish a coffee while it is still hot. There's a theatre too, which occasionally hosts extra activities. A building like this should be mandatory in every neighborhood of every city. From an architectural standpoint, it's a prototypical MVRDV project: a good concept, an execution that stumbles, and a generous scattering of unresolved details. Ugly, but useful and fun.

08/07/2026: I've tried quite a lot of bakeries in Copenhagen. Honestly, I'm almost inclined to say I've tried them all. And every time I visit a new one, I order the same thing: a classic bun with cheese. I'd had Daniali & Schiøtz Bakery saved on my Google Maps for quite a while, so I finally decided to give it a go. First of all, the service was absolutely amazing. Nice, big bakery, friendly staff, and a really good selection of different baked goods. The bun with cheese, however, left me wanting a bit more. Of course, every bakery has its own style, and that's completely fair. Personally, I like my buns a bit rounder and airier. I also prefer thicker slices of cheese and maybe a slightly different cheese selection. I reckon this was Vesterhavsost, sliced quite thinly. The butter was perfectly fine as well, but nothing particularly memorable. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. It just wasn't special to me. I'm sure a lot of their other pastries are delicious, but I can only rate what I actually had. So for me, this lands at 4 out of 5. I've simply had better buns elsewhere in Copenhagen. More specifically, it comes down to the overall airiness of the bun, the crust-to-crumb ratio, the size, and the cheese selection.
