01/11/2024: Stumbled upon this place by chance, having taken a few wrong turns in search of an Irish bar. Turns out the owner of this place is Irish (as was the person behind the bar) and has one of the best Irish whiskey selections I’ve seen outside of Ireland. Outstanding service and just a very nice vibe! Will be searching this out again on my next trip to Copenhagen. 👍

31/10/2024: “Not Quite the Atmosphere I Expected” Cafe Svejk left me feeling a bit unhappy and unimpressed. The place seems to attract a rowdy crowd, almost giving off a hooligan vibe, which was a surprise. I’ll definitely have to think twice before coming back. 2 stars.

16/11/2024: Huge sandwich, there was at least 250+ grams of beef inside which is a perfect choice for gym goers who are getting tired of chicken rice and broccoli. Also big props to Zac who was a super chill and friendly front man.

30/10/2024: Copenhagen is practically around the corner and one of my favorite places in Europe. Here, Nordic design combines with maritime flair in an international setting paired with Scandinavian serenity. And there is hardly any honking in traffic in front of the door. Our Danish friends were just chilling. One of our drivers should do an internship here. This is how chilled it is inside the Ewalds Bistro: cozy bistro style, witty “hygge” furnishings, a nice feeling of space with great details. Highly recommended for lunch; The team looks after us very attentively, questions about the food and “translation” are quickly answered. The service team obviously enjoys working here, and that's noticeable everywhere. The Croque Madame convinced us and the Smörrebrod is really spiced up with Frensh Crossover Style. Copenhagen meets Brittany. Great interpretation and further development. The classic creme brulee with apple sorbet completes the experience. Mange Tak. Hilsen fra Tyskland.
