From the moment we entered, the room radiated warmth: Scandinavian minimalism with a soulful, almost sacred calm. Every detail, from the single flowers in a clay vase to the design-classic stoneware, spoke of quiet dedication. The food? Simply extraordinary. • Ravioli with Ricotta & Cavolo Nero – hand-crafted pockets, so delicate and clear in flavour, the nutty, earthy kale filling lifted by subtle acidity. Truly flawless pasta. • Beef tartare from Engmosegaard – finely cut, seasoned with elegance, melting into the most balanced herb mayo, finished with paper-thin crispbread: among the best tartares we have ever tasted. • Wild mushroom toast with Semmel-Stoppelpilz – creamy forest richness absorbed by rustic bread, accompanied by a vibrant salad. A dish that tastes like a woodland walk. • Charcuterie – house-aged Salsiccia and Culatello, deeply flavoured, quietly masterful. The drinks matched this standard: a natural French Pinot Noir, perfectly paired; and a house-made kombucha with figs, coconut and a whisper of cinnamon – fragrant, alive, unforgettable. Brilliant jazz floated through the room, the host speaking of the musicians with the same passion he invests in his kitchen. His kindness and humility made us feel deeply welcome. 20/09/2025: Hello, we're from Germany near Frankfurt/Main and ate at Mark's Spisehus today. I had Wiener Schnitzel and my wife had a pork chop. The food was very good and plentiful. A third less of the schnitzel would have been fine (for the same price). The value for money is definitely good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this restaurant.

01/11/2025: I've stopped coming here. Their opening hours are so unstable that you never know when they're open or closed. When they finally are open, you have to order via an app - even though you're standing right in front of the staff. It seems both cumbersome and impersonal. Their ice cream machine almost never works, and it's quite disappointing when you've been looking forward to an ice cream. The food is okay (a little too salty sausage mix), but otherwise excellent. Unfortunately, that's also the only positive thing.

29/10/2025: The best place in North Zealand Where you get the best Pork steak sandwich and Burger also all the other food they have super good Pork steak sandwich only 65 kr is cheap service is also great every time New with new owner Simon and it is just as good as it was before Simon has worked under the old owner he does it well (I only see a small problem when you stand in line for 18 minutes and see all those who have ordered online come before you so fun it is better not to stand in line😪so all 4 of us left again without buying😪) get the problem solved I know you are busy sometimes.
