18/01/2025: A nice and cozy coffee shop, not as crowded as others in the area. The coffee was good, with a very interesting roast. I had a small cake, which was delicious as well. The customer service was top-notch—friendly and patient with internationals. I guess I’ve found my favorite spot for a quick fix in Helsingør!

18/01/2025: After visiting Kronborg, we decided to head to Helsingør Street Food Market, also known as Værftets Madmarked, for lunch. The market resembles a large food court located inside a spacious warehouse, offering a variety of food vendors to choose from. After exploring the options, we were drawn to The Fish Project, thanks to their enticing sample menu displayed at the counter. We opted for the fish burger, the shrimp box, and, of course, the classic fish and chips. Each dish cost between 125 and 129 DKK. The food was freshly prepared and exceeded our expectations. The portions were generous, delicious, and accompanied by ample fries and sauce. The fish burger, in particular, was one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff, attentive and considerate, mentioned that the sauce might be slightly spicy. However, to our Asian palates, it wasn’t spicy at all—a thoughtful gesture nonetheless. The shrimp box and fish and chips were equally impressive. Served in a paper box lined with newspaper, the fish was perfectly cooked, and the shrimp batter was crispy on the outside while the shrimp inside remained tender and juicy. If you find yourself in Helsingør, this spot is a must-visit for the freshest fish and tastiest chips. While it’s not the cheapest option, it’s worth it for the quality, especially considering that food prices in Copenhagen tend to be on the higher side.

18/01/2025: Fresh and very well seasoned fish and chips ! Its a classic that cant go wrong ! They have a very nice customer service , its prepared on demand and both the sauce and the fries are very well seasoned! Can't go wrong !

21/08/2024: Love this place so much is the best staying experience ever, is like a fairytale theme house, the food is excellent. The rooms are unique and clean, each room have their own theme, love the beach nearby. This location will be always on my buckle list when I travel to Copenhagen😍

28/01/2025: We had high expectations for our stay at Marienlyst Badehotel, and on some points they were fulfilled. The room was really nice, and the view over the sea was nothing short of fantastic – clearly one of the hotel's biggest advantages. Unfortunately, there were several disappointments which overshadowed the experience. The food in the restaurant was far too salty, which ruined an otherwise pleasant dinner. Even worse, both of our saunagus reservations were canceled due to lack of staff - a huge disappointment, especially when we had traveled all the way from Vietnam for a relaxing experience. To make matters worse, we were also billed for three set menus, even though we had repeatedly – ​​both to two different receptionists, in the restaurant and by email – pointed out that we were only two people. It took three weeks before we got our money back, and along the way there was virtually no communication or help from the hotel on our inquiries. All in all, Marienlyst Badehotel has great potential with its location and facilities, but the many mistakes and the lack of follow-up on the guests' inquiries mean that we unfortunately cannot give more than 3 stars.

11/01/2025: Everything great except the hurrying in getting your order, then serve your food then get you out. Rushing customers a bit too much to feel relaxed. It was a saturday 1730pm. Saw it happen to others too, rush rush 😳😁🤷🥰

05/01/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance after visiting the Castle. Very nice place and welcoming atmosphere, we asked if it was possible to eat despite the time and they said yes. The typical dishes are excellent, the service is fast and courteous. Slightly lower prices than Copenhagen and even better quality.

20/01/2025: Very long waiting time. Waiters and chefs shouted very loudly at each other so the atmosphere in the restaurant was really bad. The starter, main course and dessert were not in order, so several in the company did not eat. We left hungry and very disappointed. Have eaten there several times before but this time was the last.

27/11/2024: The restaurant is located on level 2. Entrance from the courtyard, via an external steep wooden staircase and another steep internal staircase which partially lacks a railing. No place for those who cannot handle steps. Once inside on level 2, a nice, cozy environment with not too many tables and a partially Swedish-speaking service. Good goods and humane prices. Good homemade fennel schnapps.
