06/08/2025: It took a while for the food to arrive, but the open sandwiches were very good. Unfortunately, one dish was missed for one of our party, but our waiter handled it very respectfully and professionally. This allowed us to continue enjoying our stay. Nice atmosphere and good food!

10/07/2025: This place was a gem of a find! Lovely setting right by the water with a view of the castle if you were lucky enough to get a table outside. But even the inside dining had an excellent vibe. We were treated to the most indulgent tapas with a Danish twist by Txema, who was managing a busy service all on his own.

13/07/2025: Super good experience, good service and the food was top notch, and at reasonable prices. We stayed at Borupgaard and went down and ate there, only takes 10 minutes to walk, we will be back 👍

03/08/2025: The place is unfortunately not what it used to be. The food is quite ok. However, the service level is somewhat below what should be standard. The waiters seem busy and almost look irritated that you have placed your order. We have eaten at the restaurant for many years, as we have always thought it was in the top 3 in the city. But unfortunately again, the level has changed. Luckily there are alternatives.

09/08/2025: Restaurant Appetit cooks with heart. Their 7-course menu takes you through a tasty and inviting experience. They are picky about the dishes and their appearance, taste and aroma. Friendly waiter who tells you about wine and dishes. A little gem in Helsingør.

05/08/2025: Fabulous dishes, well rounded flavours and wonderful service. We had the lunch menu which offers small dishes, so you could try everything, and we did do just that. Ended up ordering the whole menu. Lovely place!

20/07/2025: Cafes are really cool, especially if they're trendy or fashionable. And this one is, with its outdoor seating area being quite appealing on sunny days. And it's also well-stocked, offering customers ice cream, bagels, cookies, and a variety of coffees. I got the bundle, which cost €20: cappuccino, bagel with jam and cheese, and a juice. The only thing I liked was the juice. The cheese had a French feel to it; it stank.

16/07/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed the Maritime Museum! This is another example of how Denmark is leading the way in making museums appealing to children. We're not particularly fond of maritime history, but this museum makes you want to know everything about the history of shipping. It's an impressive place where you can wander among gigantic ships and beautiful galleries. It's a true paradise for children: the play area is super fun and creatively designed — our kids didn't want to leave! The exploration of the museum made everything even more fun and interactive, although we had to ask for it ourselves, as it wasn't offered spontaneously at the ticket office (probably because we spoke a different language? It was indeed available in English). The "boat in a bottle" workshop was also a great success: for about 6 euros, you get a fun, guided craft experience and a lovely souvenir to take home. The only downside: the staff at the entrance weren't very friendly to us, which is a shame in such a child-friendly museum. But once inside, you quickly forget about that. The staff at the workshop and café were incredibly helpful. In short: highly recommended for families who love adventure, games, and stories at sea!

31/07/2025: Thursday night it took ½ hour to get our pizza (they started saying 22 min)....but the pizza is worth the wait... 2 red and 2 white pizza...all super tasty and delicious.
