24/03/2024: Absurdly good sushi. Haven't had anything this good in a very, very long time. The rice was really good and the fish was very fresh. Perfect

23/05/2024: Run, don't walk, to this stellar dining experience. Chef Jonas and his team have created the ideal dining experience - a warm and welcoming bistro atmosphere, a creative twist on culinary classics, and an educated and passionate approach to sharing ingredients and enthusiasm with diners. The menu changes monthly. I had the Asparagus Cauliflower Risotto dish, and it was very tasty (pictured)! My sister and her husband had the strip steak, and wow! It was so flavorful - so good! No matter what you order, don't miss the creme brulee....it was amazing! I forgot to take a photo of it when it came to the table, so here's a photo of what was left it when I remembered to take a picture. 🤭Enjoy!

07/07/2024: They forgot the customers at the table, didn't come to ask for the order and didn't bring the bill when asked. The pizza was ok and came quickly.

16/06/2024: Super delicious pizza, with crispy thin base, juicy ham and spicy sausage. (And olives on one part) Really delicious and worth a visit. Friendly service and cozy interior.

02/07/2024: Great place for coffee with a wide variety of serving options, plus excellent cakes. Relaxed atmosphere so no rushing and interesting reading material (including on coffee) to peruse even in English. Range is seating to relax and chat. Pleasant atmosphere and also own-roasted coffee beans from a variety of geographies for sale. Friendly staff who know their coffee. Excellent.

11/05/2024: I recently visited Axelbar and had a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great selection of dishes to choose from. I particularly enjoyed the burgers, which were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The atmosphere was also lively and fun, with a great vibe and decor. However, I did notice that the service was a bit slow and disjointed at times. Our server seemed overwhelmed and took a while to take our orders and deliver our food. But, the staff was friendly and apologetic, and the food made up for it! Overall, I would definitely recommend Axelbar for the tasty food and fun atmosphere, but maybe come prepared for a slightly slower pace of service. Still, can't wait to come back and try more of their menu!

19/02/2024: Det er en fuldstændig genial café, og klart Espergærdes hyggeligste sted! Selv med vores lille søn på halvandet år bliver vi altid godt taget i mod. Deres brunchkort er dejligt, parisertoasten er fremragende og kaffen smager godt. Tak for jer!

02/07/2024: Det kunne være så skønt et sted. Men det første man møder når man træder ind af døren er spilleborde…? Hvad laver de der? Dernæst er man grundigt til grin, når man placeres ved et bord med 8 andre, og samtlige har købt en SPOTDEAL på 1200,- pr næse for mad, koncert OG overnatning. Specielt man man selv betaler 4000,- for 2 - for samme mad og koncert, men UDEN overnatning. Retterne var meget små og kreeret til storkøkken. Bandet spillede i 40 min incl 2 ekstra numre. Det skal siges at baren er skøn med lækre drinks. Derudover, var det hele bare til grin..!

25/06/2024: Lovely hotel, staff & and location. Breakfast is especially nice - allergens are clearly marked and there are plenty of vegan options. There's oat milk next to all the coffee machines. Seems like they make an effort to provide plant-based food (at least for breakfast & lunch - did not try dinner)
