02/07/2025: The room, especially the carpet did not appear clean, and pillow on the bed was musty. The shower did not work well. We only had lukewarm water. I thought it might be that I was not operating the knobs correctly but I could not get hot water out of the bathroom faucet too. They failed to clean the room during the day. The sauna was amazing however.

26/07/2025: Hyggelig have med små Oaser og ægte hygge under træer og buske Lækker frokost og godt udvalg på Menukort. Kan anbefale dette sted.., trods havnefest var vi heldige at få plads

24/06/2025: Et par andre cykelentusiaster havde anbefalet Albis Kaffebar på hovedgaden i Hornbæk, og så måtte vi naturligvis gøre holdt her, da vejen faldt forbi. Albi ligger i en hyggelig, gammel villa og serverer alt, hvad hjertet begærer af brød, kager og virkelig god, stærk kaffe. Vi fik 2 kopper kaffe og 2 boller med pisket smør og ost. Prisen var i den høje ende, 190 kr., men kvaliteten var så også i orden. Varme anbefalinger herfra, hvis du er i Hornbæk og økonomien rækker.

23/06/2025: Great city, architecture and attractions! The worst eating experience ever in this restaurant. Unfortunately, all the tables in the foodmarket were busy and we decided to eat here... the "smorebrods" were not tasty and not fresh. The choice close to 5pm was very poor.

10/07/2025: Super cozy! Good food in a lovely environment. Nice staff who were knowledgeable and waited for the dishes to be served with perfect timing. Quite expensive compared to other restaurants in Helsingør but you also pay to sit in that environment.

19/06/2025: The old house with a cozy courtyard is the perfect, and beautiful setting for the traditional danish food served here. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food amazing!

17/07/2025: Har alltid tyckt att det har varit trevligt att äta lunch här, med 3 smörrebröd och öl och snaps. Men smörrebröden var katastrof, sämsta vi ätit, verkar som de bytt leverantör. I juli brukar det alltid vara fullt här, men det var i stort sett tomt. En stor besvikelse, på ett annars så retligt ställe.

15/04/2025: I ordered an iced latte and get one with sugar in it without asking. Being told that it is standard for their ice latte. Being offered that I can get a new one without sugar in it for a fee. Expensive money for a coffee that went straight into the bin. Never before ordered an ice latte where sugar is automatically poured in. Could you possibly inform about this when ordering.

31/07/2025: Got a shooting star that was on a small piece of rye bread, a small wind-dried fish and definitely not worth the money.

13/07/2025: If you are looking for a good place to stay, spa and lovely breakfast, this is the place. Fantastic location, not far from the beach. Saunagus is also available, can definitely be recommended 😊 However, the Clevers charging stations do not work on the site. Tried several times. But apart from that, super nice place if you don't want to go too far when you live in Greater Copenhagen 😊 Update. Misleading information from a service employee from the reception. Was told that we only had access to the spa from 5:00 pm due to full booking. It was a direct lie. We have been 10 times before as mine. And never received anything like this, plus that our booking was not valid until he had to admit that it was. Bad experience and service.

21/05/2025: Both food and coffee were very good. I am Italian and loved the cafe's take on the "Italian toast". Absolutely delicious. Their apple pie was also super nice. It's a great place to stop for refreshments and chill a bit before or after the Kronborg castle visit. Still, we visited on a Monday's afternoon, and could see the place was filled with locals rather than tourists: further proof of authenticity. Good prices too (considering local standards) and friendly staff. Definitely recommend if you are in Helsingor.
