08/04/2026: Unreconstructed brown pub/brunt værtshus. Smoky, and in its own way beautiful, almost unreal in this day and age. Regulars chat, newspapers are rustled, cheap beer is sipped. 29kr for Tuborg classic. Card accepted now. Even if you don't like the smoke or the style you have to respect there is space for a pub of this kind in society. I'm glad it's here

Most of the restaurants we knew were booked, we were overcome with appetite, had never heard of it, and what a wonderful experience, fantastic food, really good service with competent waiters, and not least wonderful wine,
We have found our regular restaurant, already looking forward to the next visit.

16/06/2026: Really nice tapas restaurant with good service and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was well put together, and there was really nice flavor in the dishes. Everything worked well together, and it was a really good experience. The place is definitely recommended.
25/05/2026: 40kr for a lukewarm can of Pepsimax for Royal Run, think you'll be familiar with it. That's fucking rude.

19/10/2025: I had the mixed plate. It’s nowhere near what a genuine mixed plate should be. Singular ingredients like lettuce, tomato and cabbage. Nothing genuinely grilled or mixed with other spices. Very bland.
The rice was also bland and the Adana was over cooked. Finally the bread was store bought. The portion size makes up for lack of taste. The hummus tasted the best.

10/05/2026: Afternoon tea was a thin cup of tea, good cakes, we had to pay extra for water.
07/04/2026: Very nice location in Hornbæk - close to the water and beach.
The breakfast is quite basic and limited. Unfortunately, Cappuccino and other drinks cost extra and they do not prepare fresh egg dishes.

20/05/2026: Expensive. Not particularly good. I once ordered chicken skewers, 2 veg. spring rolls and chicken soup for 197kr and I still wasn't full.
12/05/2026: Really nice place, great food, friendly attitude and from what I heard they speak the language of every guest - Danish, English, and a few more I didn’t understand:)
Was too hungry to take a photo but both flavour and presentation was great

06/06/2026: We had a beautiful and tasty wedding cake from Kagefryd delivered for our wedding on 30/5 2026.
A few months before, we met with Laura in the store to decide on the flavors and appearance. We had written together by email beforehand.
Already at the meeting, we felt welcome, and Laura had prepared several different suggestions for some bases and flavors for the cake. She had even prepared a cake as a suggestion for the final version!
On the day, the cake was delivered as agreed, and it received great praise from the guests because it was light, airy and full of flavor. From the start, we had an idea to combine the flavors of a strawberry pie with lemon cheesecake, and Laura fulfilled that in full!
We are very grateful and look forward to returning another time!
Side note: Their pastries and freshly made panini/sandwiches also taste really good. The store in Helsingør is cozy and can be highly recommended!
30/05/2026: OK panini, but not much more. Very greasy and the pesto was forgotten in one sandwich
