08/12/2025: - [ ] A wonderful stay overall — the views and the spa alone made the trip feel restorative in all the right ways. Marienlyst is a beautiful space with a calm, inviting atmosphere, and we left feeling genuinely refreshed. Our dinner at Isabel’s didn’t quite meet the standard we expected: slow service, a forgotten table, and food that, while pleasant, never fully reached the level the setting promised. Even so, it didn’t overshadow the rest of the experience. We’ll most definitely be returning in due course.

14/12/2025: Opposite of train station, but further nothing to do nor any bar or restaurant (beside a good but small grill store) in the neighborhood on waking distance. Hotel comes with wellness and conference facilities. Rooms without complementary water. Hotel restaurant pretence to offer fancy food; at least it is pricy. But very good breakfast buffet.

21/11/2025: Overpriced small portion I got the waffle with crispy chicken 129,-. The dish was nice but the portion extremely small. I normally eat very normal size portions but this is ridiculous. Still hungry. Felt more like a little starter than a lunch dish. A little salat would have suited the dish.

04/11/2025: Bad experience/warning We came on Monday 3/11-25 at about 5:45 PM 3 people to eat. I ordered a pork steak sandwich, the others burgers. After about 10 minutes our food came, at my first bite I find out that the sandwich is cold. I contact the young, nice waiter and tell him. He feels the bun and the meat, it's cold. He sends it back to the kitchen. 10 minutes later the same sandwich comes back!! I refuse to accept it because he had his hands in it, and what happened in the kitchen? 10 minutes later a new one comes. The others have finished eating in the meantime, so I eat alone. It doesn't taste good so I only eat half. Then I see the owner of the restaurant and tell him about the process. He doesn't really care, and says that it takes time to cook the food!! So I can't recommend eating there!!! I can recommend that the health authorities come and do a hygiene check. You don't bring food in and out of the kitchen for hygiene reasons. Lars Rasmussen

15/11/2025: We had cappuccino, homemade carrot bread and rosemary bread. Coffees were very good. The breads were very interesting and delicious. Rosemary one had a crispy outer layer which was very cool. Our favorite was the carrot bread. It was so tasty and soft. The staff were very nice and kind.

12/08/2025: Vi var 7 i sällskapet varav 6 st åt och drack och 1 vegetarian. Tyvärr har de inget veg alternativ så vi gick och köpte en sallad till vår 12 åriga dotter men köpte drickan på stället. Efter ett tag kommer ägaren ut och är väldigt otrevlig mot oss men främst mot vår dotter. Han tyckte vi skulle packa ihop och dra och en massa andra saker som han sa. Vi har varit där i snart 15 år men detta var sista gången vi kom dit. Att en vuxen människa kan bete sig så illa och mot en 12-åring. Pinsamt.

29/08/2025: Street food market. The food tasted good. A bit annoying that the stalls have to stand and advise the customers when the order is ready for pick-up. There must be a smarter system with screens or buzzers on the tables.
