04/11/2025: Bad experience/warning
We came on Monday 3/11-25 at about 5:45 PM 3 people to eat.
I ordered a pork steak sandwich, the others burgers.
After about 10 minutes our food came, at my first bite I find out that the sandwich is cold. I contact the young, nice waiter and tell him. He feels the bun and the meat, it's cold.
He sends it back to the kitchen. 10 minutes later the same sandwich comes back!! I refuse to accept it because he had his hands in it, and what happened in the kitchen?
10 minutes later a new one comes. The others have finished eating in the meantime, so I eat alone.
It doesn't taste good so I only eat half.
Then I see the owner of the restaurant and tell him about the process. He doesn't really care, and says that it takes time to cook the food!!
So I can't recommend eating there!!!
I can recommend that the health authorities come and do a hygiene check.
You don't bring food in and out of the kitchen for hygiene reasons.

03/10/2025: I've been here a few times now...and can only recommend both the food, coffee and the atmosphere.
Their Fridays with special offers like Wienerschnitzel are something I'd travel far to get again. The coffee is fantastic and lastly... the atmosphere and staff are top notch. One of the best places in the area...worth a visit!!!

28/11/2025: I always go for the odd places. Didn't know this place before. Landed there a bit by chance but if I have to have a cup of coffee in Helsingør again, it will be there!
28/10/2025: Beautiful cozy café close to the train station. The pastries and cakes were incredibly fresh and delicious. There was a variety of teas to choose from, we asked for a recommendation and tried one that was super light yet flavorful. The barista was super nice and kind. Prices are super good for what is offered, around 70DKK for a warm drink and something to ear. Absolutely recommend going here for a nice breakfast!

21/01/2025: We celebrated at Restaurant MOS after a wedding ceremony at Helsingør city hall. We had a great time! Food is delicious and atmosphere is great and intimate! Highly recommended!
11/11/2024: THANK YOU so much to Restaurant MOS and all it's staff! I got married in Helsingør and we came for lunch to Restaurant MOS after the ceremony with a group of 13. Fantastic communication prior to the reservation and above and beyond on the day itself. I wish I remembered the lady who helped us on the day, she was absolutely lovely. The table was beautifully prepared, the food was fantastic and every dietary restriction that we had within the group was met without any issues. I really cannot recommend it enough - we loved it and will remember our beautiful post wedding lunch here for a very very long time! THANK YOU!

12/09/2025: Hai Tai is centrally located in Helsingør, just a few steps from the train station to Copenhagen. Here you will find a classic Chinese buffet with lots of dishes that both small and large groups can enjoy. The atmosphere is lively and informal, and many Swedish guests also stop by. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the place a safe choice when you want to eat well in a cozy setting.

20/08/2025: I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Maison Asiatique in Denmark.
We had dinner at this Chinese restaurant and tried several dishes. I ordered the shrimp noodles, which came with a nice mix of vegetables. At our table, we also had beef fried noodles and a soup with dumplings — the latter was probably not on the menu but requested specially by two of our Chinese friends.
The restaurant itself has a fairly simple décor, with clean restrooms located upstairs. Service was friendly and efficient, though nothing particularly remarkable.
Overall, it’s a good and practical option near the port, even if not directly on the waterfront.

15/11/2025: We had cappuccino, homemade carrot bread and rosemary bread.
Coffees were very good. The breads were very interesting and delicious. Rosemary one had a crispy outer layer which was very cool.
Our favorite was the carrot bread. It was so tasty and soft. The staff were very nice and kind.
