14/08/2026: Good pizza on a nice place in the center of Helsingbor I recommend !

01/08/2026: The most delicious pizza crusts!! The base is unfortunately a little too thin. But otherwise good dough, which should be in all pizzerias, but unfortunately is not. Nice prices.

05/08/2026: Cozy cafe and good service, unfortunately the pastries were really sticky, too airy and almost impossible to get through (tried pastries: croissant, almond croissant and tea biscuits).

03/08/2026: We ordered a 5-person chocolate cake for a birthday celebration and it was a huge hit. With enough for all 6 people to get almost 2 pieces.

Annika started the party TV-2 delivered the great classics that we could all sing along to, and Medina closed and extinguished with maximum energy! 12/06/2026: Great staff and friendly atmosphere. Went to see Cordovas concert and the band was absolutely world class. But the people up by the bar (including the staff) were talking throughout the whole concert, and the bar is not separated from the stage, so all the noise from the bar drowns out the music. Terrible sound experience. Probably won't every pay for a concert there again.

16/06/2026: Really nice tapas restaurant with good service and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was well put together, and there was really nice flavor in the dishes. Everything worked well together, and it was a really good experience. The place is definitely recommended.

25/05/2026: 40kr for a lukewarm can of Pepsimax for Royal Run, think you'll be familiar with it. That's fucking rude.

02/08/2026: We actually chose the place because an online menu stated that there was fish from Greenland. :D However, it is no longer on the menu. When we showed up, we were extremely excited about the sandbox for the children, as well as the wonderful environment to sit in. The children could also paint on jars while they waited. A huge plus for being so picky about families with children! 🙏 The taste of the food was also good - and the fact that organic was possible was another HUGE plus! I tried to order a wagyu upgrade for 40 kroner, where (in the menu) it was described as 50% wagyu meat, extra cheese and extra bacon. I received a burger where the meat tasted perfectly like regular organic meat (we often make organic burgers ourselves at home, so I know the taste quite well), with 3 pieces of bacon and just the usual amount of cheese. I was a little surprised and therefore reached out to the staff, who said I should send an email. I sent an email informing them of the above and at the same time asking why the description didn't match what I received. I was absolutely not any wiser. 😆 But we thought we'd give the place another chance a few days later, but just avoid the so-called "upgrade". A few wasp traps might work wonders, because we only ended up sitting there for 10 minutes because there were so many wasps.

21/12/2025: Excellent place.. nice swimming pool, Sauna, cold punch, jacuzzi.. all good!

14/12/2025: Opposite of train station, but further nothing to do nor any bar or restaurant (beside a good but small grill store) in the neighborhood on waking distance. Hotel comes with wellness and conference facilities. Rooms without complementary water. Hotel restaurant pretence to offer fancy food; at least it is pricy. But very good breakfast buffet.

01/08/2026: A genuine Danish restaurant with good Danish sandwiches and very friendly staff in a cozy ship's cabin atmosphere. We were 8 Swedish diners who were very satisfied.

27/07/2026: We visited on July 23 and ordered 3 sandwiches each, I told the young man that we didn't want anything with horseradish and the answer was, "There isn't any." So 2 out of 6 came with horseradish. All in all, my husband could eat them, but the kitchen should have been informed because we could hear that there were several other options when they told us what to put on the bread at other places.

26/07/2026: Very cozy place. Took a while to get the coffee (busy), but huge and good cappuccinos.

24/07/2026: A pastry shop in Helsingør. The food is very good: we had coffee, an apple pie (delicious), and a strawberry tart (good). The place is cute and located on a central street. The service is nonexistent: they don't offer table service, but instead hand you a plastic disc that vibrates when it's time to pick up your coffee (and it's a bit slow).

22/07/2026: So far, this is the best sushi restaurant in Helsingør. The owner appears to be Thai, and it really shows in the quality and attention to detail. The sushi is consistently fresh and expertly prepared. It's a little on the pricey side, but not significantly more expensive than other sushi places in town. Considering the quality, it's absolutely worth it. It's also a great option for takeaway. Orders are usually ready in about 30 minutes, and you can watch the sushi being freshly prepared and wrapped right in front of you. We also enjoyed the fried dishes. They were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside without being overdone, while still keeping all the flavors intact. We've never been disappointed, and this has become our first choice whenever we're craving sushi in Helsingør. We spent around DKK 400 for two people, which felt like good value for the quality we received. And they do have outdoor place, nice place to enjoy the summer.

05/07/2026: I've eaten at a lot of sushi restaurants in Denmark, but Sushi Taro is really delicious. You may have eaten a lot of sushi before, but listen: "All you can eat" places are not necessarily bad, they just lack distinctiveness. It's a bit like cut-to-measure sushi - no matter which restaurant or city you eat in, it doesn't feel any different. If you choose a la carte, on the other hand, it's of course good, but the prices are often a bit overpriced. But right here, at Sushi Taro, it's different. There's a definite art to it. If you're passing through Helsingør, I really recommend that you don't miss it. Try it - you definitely won't be disappointed!
