De bedste restauranter i Hillerød

12/09/2026: Terrible wait and I'm pretty sure a lot of our food was served to the table next to us who got a lot of sushi they were wondering about. 3-4 times we had to ask where our food went. And every time we got food there was a lot missing. Several rolls were so loose that they fell apart. And then you get eaten with 2 Japanese sodas. Little consolation when you've spent almost 2500 on food where you had the feeling that they had no control over anything.

10/09/2026: Delicious sandwiches but still have a hard time understanding that a potato dish should cost a bit over 100kr. great service, unfortunately they didn't have an alcohol license there but they had a nice alternative

19/09/2026: Sept 2026 Great food and nice atmosphere. We felt welkome and enjoyed the view on the castle in beginning of the darkness.

06/09/2026: It took 45 minutes for my nachos to arrive and the waiter had an extremely bad attitude. I would describe it as a really bad experience

19/09/2026: Pulled up to this McDonald’s with my dog Nugget and the guy in the drive-thru goes, “oh sh*t that’s a cute dog, what’s his name?” I say, “Nugget.” He asks if Nugget wants a treat. I say yeah, assuming it’ll be a dog bone or something like Starbucks does with pup cups. This guy disappears for a second, comes back, and hands me a full bag of chicken nuggets. Not one. A bag. My dog was happier than I’ve ever seen him in his life. I thanked the kid and he goes, “no sweat, it’s my last day. I’m giving out free sh*t like crazy. You want a hat or something?” Absolute legend. Nugget rates this place 5 stars

03/09/2026: We had a really great experience at this McDonald’s! ❤️ The restaurant was clean and well organized, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The staff were friendly, polite, and welcoming. Our order was prepared quickly, everything was correct, and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. We were especially happy with how smooth and efficient the service was. It’s always nice to visit a place where you can see that the team genuinely cares about good service and customer satisfaction. Thank you to the whole team for such a positive experience! 17/08/2026: Very good restaurant. Delicious food. I dropped my Coca-Cola, I said, "Let me pick it up," they took it away and gave me a new one. And they kept the broken one for themselves.

17/09/2026: Delicious fresh sushi, primarily All you can eat. Sometimes busy, which gives you more time to enjoy yourself between orders.

16/08/2026: Really good quality sushi! Very nice restaurant. Their staff was very friendly and accommodating. We got ad libitum and ordered our food over several rounds. We think the food came really quickly, which is just great! Super! The only thing I can put my finger on is probably the toilet. Just generally in need of renovation. The floor was very sticky. The sink is about to fall out of the wall.

27/01/2026: Jernstangen at Hillerød Station is a charming and classic pub with an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making you feel welcome from the first moment. The place offers a wide range of entertainment options, including pool table, billiards, jukebox, live music and raffle, which contribute to a lively and cozy experience. The local atmosphere combined with the convenient location right across from Hillerød Station makes Jernstangen an obvious choice for both an informal evening with friends and a cozy afternoon. All in all, a well-functioning pub with soul and character, which can be highly recommended.

20/09/2026: Small selection of beers with no particular focus. Actually cozy, but still without atmosphere or sense of quality that corresponds to the price.

21/04/2026: We have visited Restaurant Ellegården several times for parties, and it is always a pleasure. There is a very special calm and atmosphere in the idyllic premises that makes you feel welcome immediately. The food is always top-notch – classic dishes made with good ingredients, where nothing is ever lacking. The details are well thought out, and the service is professional and with a smile, even if there are many people at the table. It is clear that they have extensive experience in handling parties, so that as a host you can just sit back and enjoy the party. If you are looking for a place in Hillerød with soul, good food and personal service, Ellegården can be highly recommended. We are already looking forward to the next time!

05/07/2026: Torvet's is such a cozy place. A bit messy style, but it has its charm with its wallpaper in 3 different styles, but especially with its small courtyard. The Danish is a bit lacking, but the staff is always sweet and nice. And, most importantly - the food is excellent! Absolutely the best pizza in Hillerød in my eyes.

30/04/2026: Expensive, poor quality, Mac's has better burgers and that's not a bad thing, their pizza was so greasy, it dripped out of the tray and all over the car, the burger yes it had enough dressing for 10 burgers and onions that weren't cut, a whole lump of onions in your mouth 🤮 everything should be in the middle of it, nothing but meat and bun on the edge, and they should be sure that the steak was dead, so dare 2 liters of cola couldn't save it, pizza greasy with grease on it, no taste, bad kebab, etc., all in all should be 0 stars, they don't know that this is the food they live on, way too expensive, especially when they serve such a load of crap, they're not very friendly either, at least not white people 🤔 If what I got was their standard then I can't understand why they're still open, there were almost no people around at about 5:30 PM, one was sitting outside and didn't look happy, 2 foreigners who seemed like everything was great, a white woman who didn't seem happy either, and otherwise blank. I won't be returning, everyone reading this review should find somewhere else.

04/07/2026: New Indian restaurant in Hillerød. I've only had take away from there, both times super tasty. I'm a fan.

20/09/2026: I visited this place twice and asked on both occasions whether the burger was halal. The first time, I was told that it was halal. However, the second time, I was told that it was not. This inconsistency is very concerning. When I mentioned that I would report the matter to a halal certification/review website, the response I received was, “We have a different understanding of halal.” I found that response extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Customers deserve clear, honest, and consistent information about what they are being served, particularly when dietary and religious requirements are involved. Based on my experience, I would personally be very cautious about trusting their claims.
