13/09/2025: We had an amazing dinner at Krebsegaarden tonight. Carsten and Mats made us feel truly welcome with their warm and personal service. We really felt like home! The food was delicious, creative, and beautifully prepared, and the wine pairings were simply perfect. To finish, the unique dessert of 17 different Danish cheeses was absolutely outstanding. A cozy, intimate atmosphere that made the whole evening unforgettable. Highly recommended!

10/09/2025: Fabulous experience all around. Great staff. Super welcoming and made us feel like we had known them for years! The food was delicious, especially with the wine pairings. So much thought and care went into each dish—especially the sauces! Phenomenal.

18/10/2025: Extremely warm and welcoming owner. Cosy cafe and friendly community. Got the coffees and the Belgian waffle, which were all amazing!

15/10/2025: Wonderful little cafe! Observing the owner training the new staff was great, he treats his employees with such kindness and respect, and same goes for his customers - I felt very welcomed and well taken care of! I had a cappuccino as part of the small breakfast menu (they offer all day breakfast), and I worked for a few hours from the cafe. It’s probably the cosiest place in Copenhagen, and I’m definitely going back!

05/10/2025: Small and charming cafe in the centre of Copenhagen. One of the best coffee I have tried in the city. Place is definitely worth visiting for any coffee enthusiast as well as for having some small snack. I recommend unmercilessly!!!

14/11/2025: I recently spent 10 days in Copenhagen and dinner at Maple was the best food/dining experience by far - this place has a 4.9 rating for a reason. While the food was exceptional (I had the chicken thighs and the crème brûlée and can’t recommend them enough) and the ambience is great as well, the absolute stand-out is the service. All the staff (but especially Pia and Johanna, who are just wonderful) are kind, friendly, and patiently explained the dishes on the menu to help me choose. Pia was also very helpful and patient in letting me taste a few different wines before I finally chose one. Overall 12/10 experience. I suggest you get a reservation because (very understandably), Maple is quite busy.

30/10/2025: Excelsior! What an amazing experience with such a welcoming and chatty staff, heartwarming. The decor is homey with leather sofa’s and dim lighting, absolutely perfect for a date night.

22/11/2025: An ice cream stand that we happened to pass by. Lots of flavors and it tasted good. Good smoothness and softness in the ice cream. Fast service and friendly staff. Recommend!

02/11/2025: Went in for a few drinks. First off Dexter himself is a very welcoming host and him and his staff all friendly and happy to help with any orders. The cocktails were outstanding and the second reason to go. Amazing Caribbean style cocktails that were so tasty. And lastly I found a cider (Savanna) that UK supermarkets stopped selling so I was really happy to get a few of them.

29/11/2025: Amazing food, simple techniques perfected. Limited menu which means high quality and consistency. The wait staff were authentic and very nice. The restaurant needs more visitors in February so please show some love for Komplet!

14/11/2025: What an absolute gem! We enjoyed fresh high quality food from a lovely and friendly owner/hostess and her owner/chef husband puts the secret ingredient of love and creativity in every dish. When making a reservation, we did sign off on understanding to not bring children (definitely would interrupt the ambiance) and you would have to be able climb tight stairs to the 1st floor to be able to enjoy this place as the restaurant is set in an old quint building. That added to the charm for us. Our party of 4 enjoyed a delicious house white wine with each of the main dishes. If we had to rank them we would say pork is tops, then beef, then salmon but it is hard to choose as we were overwhelmed by the deliciousness of each! The beef tartar starter was so good and each of the sweet desserts were perfection. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to Restaurant Komplet.

01/11/2025: I have been buying their coffee online (beans, for espresso purposes) and am completely thrilled with the quality and tastes (mostly light or very light roast). The delivery is always on time. Absolutely recommend.

04/07/2025: Too dark - almost tripped at cloak room. Maybe can hire 1-2 more staff. Response time is slow. Water is DK20/person (studio x kitchen on Dronnigens provides 4 pitchers of water free). Food was ok.

14/11/2025: A very informal place, not suitable for those looking for a "classic" restaurant. It's self-service, so upon entering you have to choose from a large selection of cold salads, all very appealing, then choose your main course and finally a single dessert. Drinks are also self-service, with three refrigerators stocked with a wide selection of water and other beverages. We had chickpeas with peppers and carrots, plus a very good curly salad. For our main course, rice and falafel, chicken with potatoes, and a chocolate cake. With trays in hand, we moved on to the adjacent rooms, which were decorated with great imagination, making use of and recycling everything. On the tables, there were plastic tablecloths, paper towels as napkins, and jugs of tap water. After eating, you have to clear the table of dishes and take them to a room where you have to share everything. In conclusion, the food was good and plentiful; we spent 280kr for two, which is a bit low for Copenhagen. Perhaps we weren't prepared for such an alternative place, but many others will probably appreciate it.

24/11/2025: Leo Pizza is my favorite pizza spot in Copenhagen. Every time I go there, I feel like I’m in Italy — like I’m sitting somewhere in Palermo enjoying real homemade flavors. The pizza is fantastic, and the sandwiches and pastas are just as good. Everything is simply perfect. A truly genuine recommendation from me!

20/11/2025: What a gem! Our favourite meal in Copenhagen. Warm, hospitable and delicious. The restaurant has a classic feel to it which feels untouched by time but in the best way, as if soaked in memories and good times. The waiters were very friendly and guided us through a traditional meal in the city, delicious herring, perfectly cooked butter fried plaice and paired with the elite combo of a pint of beer and tiny glass of aquavit. Good times, highly recommend!
