10/03/2025: We were there by 19:30, but Suqaar and Jollof Rice was already sold out. We were sad but we stayed and ordered Peanut Chicken Stew (Mafe), Peri Peri Chicken, and Chachumbari instead. Our mind was blown, so so good. The best part? Drinking the warm and comforting Shaar at the end. Second visit: Suqaar was great. Jollof Rice was good but can get bored pretty quickly. The chicken was heavenly though.

10/03/2025: Sasaa is a hidden gem for anyone who wants to experience authentic Somali food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a friendly atmosphere and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The staff is helpful and attentive, which makes for a really good overall experience. I tried a classic Somali dish, bariis (spiced rice with suqaar (small pieces of fried meat with vegetables)) which was tender and juicy and the spices used lifted the dish to new heights. The combination of the fresh vegetables and the seasoned meat was really delicious. Sasaa manages to bring Somali food culture to life in a way that is both authentic and accessible to new guests. If you want to explore the flavors of Somalia in a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, Sasaa is a great choice. It is clearly a restaurant that I can highly recommend.

07/03/2025: It's truly awesome when a restaurant really lives up to the expectations. From the moment I contacted the restaurant for making the reservation, to throughout the dinner, Mats and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an outstanding experience during our celebration, which we'll never forget. Delicious 4-course tasting menu with wine pairing! Lovely atmosphere, staff, and service that deserves the highest praise!

04/03/2025: Når madoplevelsen og den personlige service går op i en højere enhed. Vi overlod beslutningen om mad og vinsammensætning til Carsten og Mats. Det var et godt valg. Den enestående lækre mad blev suppleret af den ene delikate vin efter den anden. Det var for os en helt speciel aften med en meget vigtig "fejring", så det var SÅ vigtigt at alt var ok. Alt klappede til perfektion, og vi fik oven i det historier og baggrundsviden fra Mats' mange år i branchen. Tusind tak for en helt unik aften. Vi ses med garanti igen.

28/12/2024: Stopped in for a bite on a cold day. Got a table right away during the busy time. Service was friendly and fast. Get the grog when it's in season. We all got the open faced sandwiches - one of each. Very yummy! Not touristy at all. We all found something that we liked!

25/12/2024: Tourist trap so it matters. Got the smallest cup of chocolate (cold by the way and without whipped cream) and a regular espresso for DKK 100....

05/03/2025: After waiting a bit I must say that they were very kind, a small but welcoming space, the only ones who accepted the stroller and my little girl, well yes because not everyone accepts both in the premises. The food was excellent, few pieces but really tasty, congratulations.

04/03/2025: The venue is calm and welcoming, the food is presented as a work of art, is delicious and the choice of open sandwiches is so tempting. I wished I could try them all. Worth finding this gem and also close to visit the fort, mermaid and palace/marble church. Service and kindness in equal measure. Taste and quality ingredients combined with skill.

11/03/2025: A very small and cozy shop. Everyone is super nice and friendly and the food was great! Had the burrata as a starter and the pizza margarita as the main course, which was very tasty! We were able to eat without a reservation but the seats there are very limited. So I can understand why you should reserve in advance.
