06/08/2026: Went there for lunch. Pretty empty for a Thursday.
Service was good. We got the fish of the day and it was superb.
06/08/2026: The food was amazing, we ordered one portion seafood platter to share because we wanted to try other things, the staff was very nice about it, didn’t pressure us to order two portions. We had mussel bisque and catch of the day after. Vibe was nice, with outdoor seating and indoor. Would highly recommend anyone who wants fresh seafood.

15/08/2026: Simply a wonderful evening! We had bought an Early Bird menu, but we didn't feel treated any differently than "normally paying" guests. The waiters were super nice and skilled, and the food was absolutely delicious! We had a few things we didn't like (red wine and certain types of cheese), and they were replaced without any problems. Highly recommended :)

Authentic, stylish and cozy surroundings!!! The setting is set for a meal in a special class. Professionally and enthusiastically presented and served by the discreet, and clearly experienced waiters. Service in a class you rarely encounter today, from the welcome at the door, to a fine rounding off of the experience

24/07/2026: Went here shortly after arriving in Copenhagen after checking in to our accommodation. We picked this place because it was close to where we were staying and we wanted something light. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sushi and sashimi.

26/07/2026: A very delicious fish restaurant with outstanding quality. We had the fish tower with a large selection of raw fish – everything was incredibly fresh and tasted excellent. It was accompanied by a perfectly paired wine that complemented the meal beautifully. The value for money was also excellent. We were completely satisfied and will gladly return.

11/08/2026: Despite being extremely touristy and featuring a very basic atmosphere, it remains a must-visit for first-time visitors to Copenhagen. Qualitatively, it's one of the best seafood restaurants in the area. Dishes are beautifully presented and carefully crafted. The Turbot is one of the signature dishes you should try at least once.
11/08/2026: Such a nice afternoon spot for small seafood plates, wine and relaxing. Oysters, fish and chips and drinks were great.

11/08/2026: I had the poke bowl.
It had no taste, few ingredients and it was expensive.
The worst and most expensive poke bowl in Copenhagen. There are many places in Nørrebro, and they are all much better.
Supposedly they have three variants, but they only had tuna. Wuaw.
This place cannot be recommended.
30/07/2026: Pleasant place with truly exceptional service! The food was hit-or-miss, though, the fish burger was on the dry side. Still worth a visit for the good vibes and hospitality

11/08/2026: Ok so the food was great but I had a very long wait to be seated. It appeared that there were only one server and a host working and running food,drinks etc. There were also many tables. Additionally I had to wait a bit before the server came to my table. Anyways the food was delicious and the I really liked the atmosphere and the menu. I came for lunch during a trip to Copenhagen. I think it's worthy of 5 stars. Maybe they had someone call off that day or something but they could potentially need to beef up service bodies. Their menu is also posted outside so you can see what they have to offer. Also in a popular area/central location.

26/08/2026: Good fish and chips🐟 We especially liked the batter, it had an almost curry-spiced flavour to it. We couldn’t quite put our finger on what it was, but it tasted really nice! We also liked the outdoor seating, where you can sit and watch everyone walking and cycling past. Service was quick too
21/08/2026: Interesting menu, but it was not flavourful enough, if they improve on this point it would deserve 4.5 stars which the note of a good restaurant 🙂

09/05/2026: Just stopped for a beer in the sun and that was a great beer.
14/04/2026: We have held confirmations at Viva twice, three years apart. Most recently on April 11, 2026, and it has been fantastic both times.
The price is incredibly reasonable considering the location, service, food and drinks.
Highly recommended!

13/09/2025: I visited ILUKA about a year ago, and it’s still one of the meals I think of whenever I think back to Copenhagen. Everything was so flavorful I could hardly sit still while eating, and even the simple oysters were outstanding. I’d love to come back again!

The food was actually quite good, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed what could have been a pleasant breakfast. When we were asked what we would like to drink, we simply requested water. At no point were we informed that this water would cost an additional 70 DKK (10€) for two people. Only after paying did we notice the charge on the receipt.
What made the situation worse was the attitude when we asked about it. Instead of a professional and understanding explanation, we were met with a sarcastic tone that made us feel unwelcome and as if our question was unreasonable. Customers should never feel uncomfortable for asking about charges on their bill.
The water itself was also disappointing. We were told it was good-quality water, yet the taste was unpleasant enough that we barely drank it. Paying extra for something we hardly touched and were never properly informed about felt frustrating and misleading.
Transparency matters. If water is not complimentary, customers should be clearly informed before ordering. A simple warning would have prevented this entire negative experience.
Good food alone is not enough to make up for poor communication, unexpected charges, and an unfriendly attitude. Sadly, despite enjoying the breakfast, we left feeling disappointed rather than satisfied. I would not return, and I would advise future customers to carefully check the menu and ask about every extra charge before ordering.
