02/07/2026: nice and cozy place, but sold out of most options by 12 pm on a thursday… a bit crazy

22/06/2026: A must-visit bakery for its Kardemommesnurre (cardamom buns), created by a former Noma baker. These buns are one of Benji’s signature specialties and definitely worth trying. Benji uses a generous amount of cardamom, leaving large pieces or even whole cardamom seeds inside the pastry. The result is a rich, aromatic, and intensely spiced flavor that stands out from most other bakeries. The coffee is good, and the staff are warm and friendly. The only downside is the location. The surrounding area is not particularly attractive at the moment, and there is quite of construction work nearby.

13/07/2026: Did not have food, but food was available. Staff was very nice. Good vibes, fun music. They allow dogs inside. Good selection of drinks!

02/10/2026: We were 6 guests on a regular Wednesday evening and had a fantastic experience. We were pampered beyond all limits with good food, wine, water and not least consideration for our various wishes. Will definitely come again, even just for a glass of wine in the sun🤩👌

21/09/2026: A super cozy spot with small, but comfortable indoor tables and excellent outdoor seating on Enghave Plads. We spent every morning here on our most recent visit to Copenhagen. Excellent espresso drinks and delicious pastries served by a very friendly and welcoming staff! Highly recommend!

25/07/2026: Everything a bodega should have, a nice atmosphere, professional service and friendly regulars who taught us Mayer. Clean and tidy toilets with a good selection of hygiene products is a big plus. A perfect place to end the "Tour Ægirs gade".

28/12/2025: My son (14), husband, and daughter (1.5 years old) ate here a few months ago, and the food was absolutely amazing. I’ve been craving it ever since! The portions were very generous, and the jerk chicken was incredibly moist and full of flavor. I’m from Jamaica, and I fully approve of this restaurant’s twist on jerk chicken! On top of the great food, I truly appreciated the owner’s warmth. She took the time to make sure our little Kira was comfortable and well looked after, which meant a lot to us. We did realize a bit too late that the restaurant isn’t particularly toddler-friendly. However, our daughter was on her best behavior that day, and the owner was so kind and accommodating, making sure Kira was comfortable throughout our visit. 21/12/2025: For a homesick island gal like myself, visiting the Caribbean Housewife was like stepping into a little pocket of home in the middle of a foreign land. From the moment we entered, Jamain made us feel warm & welcome, and the food blew us away with the flavour I'd been missing since leaving home. Jamain was polite, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the various dishes and drinks we indulged in. It also felt great to converse with someone with a similar background - almost like talking to a longtime friend. This is a hidden gem in CPH, and one that you shouldn't miss out on if you have the chance!
