22/09/2025: Divan is one of those places you keep coming back to because the food just hits the spot every single time! Their food are packed with flavour. Loads of meat, fresh salad, and just the right amount of dressing. Nothing ever feels like it’s missing. They don’t put onion or chili by default, which I actually like, since you can adjust the chili yourself at the table if you want some extra heat. The service is another thing! The staff are genuinely kind. They take your order calmly without rushing and they always make sure you’re heard. Once you’ve ordered, the food usually comes out fast, but if the place is packed you might have to wait up to half an hour. Still, it feels worth it! The restaurant itself is comfortable and well set up. With two floors and plenty of tables, you can usually find a spot. I especially like the window seats. The big windows can swing open like doors, letting in fresh air while you eat. They’ve even got separate bathrooms for men and women, which is a small but nice detail. Overall, Divan deserves its reputation. It is a bit of an overrated place, but definitely for a good reason. Prices are fair too, especially by Danish standards. I highly recommended!

02/11/2025: Limited menu options for those who do not eat pork. Portion sizes were quite small (for example, only three spring rolls and three chicken wings). The seating was uncomfortable with very little legroom, and the grill in the middle of the table was greasy. Unfortunately, I would not return.

31/10/2025: Pretty good and authentic. Some elements can be a little off at times, but it seems they are working hard on making it consistently good.

19/07/2025: There were two of us who both ordered Grøftens' signature dish, skipperlabskovs, served with chives, beetroot, rye bread and butter. We knew it was really good from before. But no, it definitely wasn't anymore. It was just mashed potatoes with shredded beef, with a few dry bay leaves on top. The skipperlabskovs wasn't cooked properly, and the dish lacked both onions, peppercorns and bay leaves, and thus the right taste. The beetroot was drained and far too dry, which meant that the sharp vinegar taste was missing. The beetroot was therefore not fresh! The dish was simply not cooked correctly, and it was simply the worst skipperlabskovs we both have ever tasted.

05/06/2025: A Fju beer (a kind of Danish version of Bière belge) First marinated herring on rye bread with curry and a soft-boiled egg with dill with an O.P. Andersen clear Aquavit. Then small shrimps on toast with homemade mayo. Top! Very friendly people. Beautiful classy business. The family business adds personality and style. Ps: you drink aquavit by first inhaling and then drinking. (No air at Aquavit)

02/10/2025: what a beautiful cafe!!! tucked away and hidden. it was one of the more empty and calm cafes I had visited. the perfect place to go to before or after visiting the king’s garden. I only got a matcha latte as I had already had breakfast and pastries earlier. It was definitely not the best matcha latte I had in cph but the ambiance of the place was awesome. They definitely paid attention to design in the interior The outdoor space was gorgeous. The staff was also extremely friendly!

15/09/2025: A great spot with a true Danish vibe. The breakfast menu only offers three options, which is a bit limited, so keep that in mind. We tried the honey butter, which is simply bread with butter and honey — simple but very tasty, and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. The courtyard is lovely and relaxing, the staff are super friendly, and the coffee was delicious.

07/09/2025: After spending some time abroad, you really miss spicy Korean food. Somehow, tired from changing trains in Copenhagen, we found this Korean restaurant. First of all, I was very happy. I looked it up on Google Maps and found it. Saturday evening~~ Thankfully, we were able to get in without a reservation~~ There seemed to be no waiting customers. We were successfully seated~ We ordered dolsot bibimbap, kimchi fried rice, and stir-fried pork. For two... I really miss Korean food! How was the taste? It was a little disappointing, but I thought it was worth it. The price was reasonable considering the prices in Copenhagen. There were no side dishes, and of course, you had to buy water. Still, it was nice to be able to take the leftovers home and eat them.

29/08/2025: Food was amazing, something that I was looking for. Brunch B stole my heart especially onion cloud, i wish i had recipe to make it at home. I will definitely come back. Staff is extremely sweet and answered all of my questions. If you’re looking for a super cozy place to eat brunch, you should definitely come and give this place a chance

20/10/2025: Argh… unfortunately, it was a bit of a heavy experience at the otherwise really nice and newly renovated Bistro Royal. A place I have always liked to come to when I knew that things were going to work out – and I could count on what I was getting for my money. The waiters were running around a bit confused. Our waiter was otherwise super sweet and cheerful, but you could tell that there wasn’t really time for the personal service that the place is usually so good at. The drinks came at the same time as the food – it’s not the biggest problem in the world, but it gave the feeling that everything had to go quickly. I understand that you want to have more tables in an evening, but when the food is on the table after 13 minutes, you lose a bit of the experience – and maybe also a bit of additional sales. I got “boeuf”, but the meat was unfortunately completely overcooked. And that’s a bit of a shame, because it’s a mistake that could have been fixed immediately in the kitchen. Everything – meat, fries and salad – was mixed together on the plate, and it gave a slightly messy look. In the past, you would get sides on the side, and the meat was like the main role. Now it disappears a bit in the crowd. We shared a garlic bread for the main course, but unfortunately it was completely tasteless and did not have the slightest hint of garlic. A shame, because their old signature garlic bread – both here and at Bistro Petit Royal – was always a hit. They should really consider putting that back on the menu. All in all, I can see that they still have to find their rhythm after reopening with a new team, and that is completely fair. But there are some basic things that need to be tightened up. I will definitely come back, because I still believe in the place – and I hope that Bistro Royal will soon be back as I know it.

08/05/2025: I only order "Mattress". They make that dish really well. Tried two of the other dishes. One ok but standard and the other was poor. There are chickpeas and saffron in the rice. It's delicious. The portions are quite large, and there is often a lunch the next day, if you are not too hungry. The service is friendly, but it's a shame that the shop is so rocky. Would be nice with a little cozy atmosphere and a few seats where you can eat.
