09/10/2025: The meal was delicious. I ordered the Jerusalem artichoke and flat iron steak, and the portions were generous. The sourdough bread they served with it made it even more delicious. The Jerusalem artichoke chicken was so tender, I wonder how they marinated it.

06/10/2025: Really guys - the food is great, fresh and tasty, the ambiance is nice and cozy but the service was - at least for our table and on that day close to 0. We ordered starters to share and then a main course and it all was brought at the same time on our table.. apparently a "misunderstanding" in the kitchen. Plus the waiter seemed to have an orientation and communication problem - he was speaking so low I hardly could understand what he said.

13/01/2026: Held a company event. 4 stars for the beautiful premises, but I'm down for having to go outside to use the toilet in the winter cold with party clothes on. 2 stars for the food The starter was okay, but a bit boring, plus there was 1/2 slice of bread per person and no option to get more. The main course was definitely inedible!!! Cabbage in a puree (tasted like food from a kindergarten), potatoes were okay but a funny choice to turn them in dried spices instead of sacrificing fresh delicious spices. The meat was so dry that we should have asked for a saw to cut it, and the so-called "caramelized onions" were just soft onions. When I ask the waiter if there is any meat that is less cooked/fried, she simply replied "that's how the chef has made it, I'm a vegetarian, so I don't know anything about that"🫨. But even the vegetarians were dissatisfied with their menu. Practice for a round And then it's practice that the bar closes 30 minutes before the party ends...

16/12/2025: Cute and cozy location. Enjoyed the the craft Market. Food options were few, however, there was options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

25/12/2025: Entered the place just to get one beer and ended up staying for 5. It's a very nice and cosy place, drinks have a pretty good price and the colective is interesting. It's not a pretentious place, so it has an unique personality. I definitely recommend stopping for a drink if you like places like this!

29/12/2025: Beautiful restaurant right near our hotel. Food was lovely, large meals. We all felt nourished afterwards. The poor waitress was run off her feet servicing all the tables alone but she did an amazing job catering to everyone. I would highly recommend you stop by here for a meal when in town.

22/11/2025: Tried their menu, which tastes really good. Also ordered a dessert on the side, and surprisingly it tasted good too. They are quite busy with the tables though, so we had a hard time staying seated and chatting after the meal. Definitely recommend trying it.

17/03/2026: Maybe 3,5 stars is more accurate. Ordered take away through Wolt. Butter chicken, rice pilao and garlic naan. Chicken was tender, maybe a bit to the soft side for some peoples taste. But clean pieces of chicken breast and no bones, as some of the reviews report as a negative. And actually a good amount of chicken out of the whole dish compared to other places ive tried where its only a couple of pieces in a dish. Sauce was good. Medium complex flavour and depth, but not the best ive had in Copenhagen. But i feel like this is an individual preference of each person and not a 'right or wrong' taste, kind of thing. But i feel like most people would like this type of flavour. It was not too oily or overly fatty and the thickness of the sauce was just right. Rice was okay, but missing a bit of scent and flavour compared to other Pilaos ive tried. But not bad at all. Naan was really nice. Good texture of the bread. Not to chewy(like some regular flatbread) but soft and easy to pull apart. Definitely homemade and not a boring pre-bought one like in some restaurants without respect for themselves. Nice flavour too with some herbs on top with the garlic oil. Could have used a bit more garlic for my taste, but this is probably okay for most people. Overall quality is fine in my opinion. Was a bit worried after i ordered and read some of the reviews though. But i dont agree with the bad reviews on the food. This is definitely not a bad place, as some reviews say, but not the best either. But the owner sounds like a rel piece of work from a lot of the people who physically visited the restaurant.

19/12/2025: GP wineshop & winebar by Groth & Persson is one of my favorite oases in Copenhagen, whether I just want to enjoy a glass of wine or when I want to enjoy delicious tapas and wine with my wife and good friends. The owner and staff are super nice and accommodating, they are very knowledgeable about their products, and the premises are super cozy. They have a good selection of high quality Italian wines, and finally the prices are extremely reasonable – it is value for money

I don't understand why they didn't take a decent couple of young people off the street who didn't have a reservation when half the place was empty the whole time.

12/02/2026: Yes, paying more than 200kr. for a pizza seems a lot, but the sky high quality is unmatched by any other pizza reataurant in Copenhagen - or even in Denmark - and I've had a few (including Bæst, Fumo, Corsa, Luca, Dal Forno etc.).

11/02/2026: Surt is easily one of my favorite pizza spots in Copenhagen. Located in the heart of the historic Carlsberg district (right by the elephants), it offers a world-class experience that manages to be both cozy and incredibly high-quality. The Magic of the Dough The founder, Giuseppe Oliva (who helped start Bæst), is a true master. The name "Surt" means "sour" in Danish, referring to their 100% sourdough process with no industrial yeast. The result is a crust that is light, perfectly charred, and much easier to digest than your typical pizza. It’s exactly as good as the hype suggests. The Ingredients & Authenticity What makes Surt stand out is the blend of local organic produce and premium Italian imports. • The Hindsholm Pizza: My absolute favorite. The pork sausage from the Hindsholm pigs is incredible, especially with the fermented chili. I’ve tried several others across many visits, and the quality never slips. • Authentic Vibe: You can really feel the Italian roots here. Using ingredients sourced directly from Italy makes the flavors feel truly authentic, yet it fits perfectly into the modern, industrial vibe of Carlsberg Byen. A Couple of "Local" Suggestions • The Sharing Factor: I love the concept, but I wish they wouldn't "force" the sharing experience quite so much. Sometimes you just want all the pizzas brought to the table at the same time unless asked otherwise! • Lunch Hours: Honestly, the only other negative is that they aren't open for lunch, why keep this goodness just for the evening? (Haha, but seriously!)

18/08/2025: (The Red Box) in Copenhagen is among one of the finest dining places when you take into account high-quality of service, quality ingredients, and overall experience. This French Asian infusion kitchen is absolutely wonderful. I can definitely recommend the beef with black pepper sauce.
