17/09/2025: Cozy medium-sized pub, and even one of the few brown ones left... located close to Nørrebro Park, good atmosphere, mixed clientele, good and attentive service, several types of beer on tap and open until 1:00 a.m. A place I would like to come back to.

02/05/2025: Cafe lille peter is one of those places where coziness, good atmosphere and drinks that you can pay for, add up to a higher unity. You are allowed to smoke inside.

23/05/2025: Visited in May 2025 during the seafood festival. The food was cooked using fresh and high-quality ingredients, but the flavours were a bit too mild for my taste. My favourite was the fresh tuna and cod dish, which was pleasantly salty and smoky. The main course was also pretty good. The poached oyster dish was my least favourite and could have used some acidity. There were many wine options, but no drinks menu for anything else. We got a beer and an elderflower syrup after talking to the waitress. The interior looks modern and the bathroom is cool. The tables are a bit too close for my taste, but that's the case in many restaurants in Copenhagen. Overall, I had a pleasant enough experience, but I'm not likely to return.

23/05/2025: Svovl is our local restaurant and wine bar. I can't recommend it enough - food, atmosphere and service are all in one. Thanks to Rasmus for creating a wonderful gastronomic and oenological oasis in Århusgade.

21/09/2025: We had bought a 4-course menu via Early Bird, but from the start the experience was a disappointment. The first serving was not at all the dish we had bought in advance – with no explanation other than that “the menu had changed” after we had to ask ourselves why we got something different. This is in itself unprofessional when you, as a guest, have ordered something specific. Unfortunately, the service experience was no better. We were not asked once if we wanted water – we had to ask for it ourselves, and only after about 20 minutes of waiting did it come to the table. We also ordered drinks, but it took half an hour before we got them. We managed to eat the entire first course without anything to drink at all. At the third serving they had forgotten to give us potatoes. The side dishes were simply forgotten and only came when we were already halfway done. Of course, they should have been served together. During the entire visit (2 hours) we had only had one drink, because no one at any point came by to ask if we wanted to order more. Overall a really bad experience: lack of overview, long wait for drinks and no attention to the guests. We left very disappointed

16/09/2025: Wonderful family atmosphere and delicious cuisine. Unsurpassed fish dishes. Service at the highest level. Thank you for the pleasant time spent in your restaurant, I advise all guests and residents of Copenhagen to visit.

11/05/2025: I was looking forward to a good meal, but the experience was unfortunately ruined by the behavior of the staff. The pizza chef seemed extremely passive-aggressive — small comments and a clear lack of friendliness made the whole visit unpleasant. The food was mediocre at best, and when you are greeted with such a bad attitude, you completely lose the desire to come back. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the place.

18/10/2025: Phew where do I start... We arrive as part of dining week 2025 at Hans Christian's and are placed at a table that should have been replaced a long, long time ago, our table moves in all directions and I ask the waiters to stabilize the table so that we can eat without the food ending up on the floor and our sweet waiter does his best but it ends up with me having to adjust it myself with several napkins under the table legs. Our first course arrives which is the best course we are served that evening, the first tasting is "home" baked foccacia bread with hummus and a Greek dish which according to my and my wife's taste is the best of the evening (sorry to say), with this we are offered a glass of red wine which I later find out is not the right one according to the wine menu that has been presented to us. Second tasting is osso buco which is absolutely tasteless with no accompaniments and the same red wine again (the waiters were made aware that we had already been served this red wine at our first course and she apologized and another red wine which was not part of the wine menu was poured), it was not a bad wine but well you can't even follow your own presented wine menu so something is wrong. our last course before dessert was pork breast which according to the waiters should have been braised for 5 hours, the meat was tender but full of fat and once again completely tasteless and on top of that there was hair as an extra accompaniment, so it was sent back and we didn't want another round (we were offered a new serving but declined as none of us cared for it, we were then served a quite delicious drink as a replacement). The dessert is disappointing just like the rest of the menu. Upon arrival, we were suggested by our first waiter to replace the dessert which was espresso affogato with chesse cake as it would go better with the bubbles we were going to enjoy. The chesse cake was just like the rest of the menu. A quite forgettable experience, I must say. Just inside the door of Hans Christian's you are greeted by a dog bed with meat bones and all, which I personally thought was super gross when you were about to eat at what I thought was fine dining.

16/10/2025: Visited in October 2025. We had the 8 course menu, which included focaccia and 4 starters, a main with a meat and a veggie dish, and a basque cheesecake for dessert. The food was tasty and interesting - even simple dishes that are rather common had a nice twist. We also got an affogato for dessert, in addition to the menu, because I had heard good things about it - and I did really like it, mainly because of the caramel and salt crystals. The drinks options were okay and reasonably priced. Service was nice and friendly and the place looks nice. Oh, and there was an adorable little doggy around! Overall, I can recommend the place and I would come back to try more dishes, especially if the menu changes :)

07/10/2025: Cinnamon rolls and tea cookies are supposed to be sweet, but I think yours are too sweet... and the dough is sticky in cinnamon rolls.

17/09/2025: The first time I ordered the Hindude chai latte it was really tasty and way better than the powdered chai you get in many coffee shops. But the next couple of times it was much weaker, like too much milk or not enough chai. When it’s made right, it’s honestly really good, just wish it was more consistent!

26/08/2025: Very pleasant dining experience and great service. We were lucky enough to get in without a reservation because the restaurant is usually fully booked. Tried a little bit of everything: potato with caviar, broccolini, mullet fish, bbq monkfish. The potato was so soft and creamy and the broccolini dish was really thoughtfully crafted with a side of delicious pistachio cream. Wasn’t a big fan of the monkfish but the mullet was awesome. Tried the pistachio ice cream stuffed with green berries, dark chocolate and more pistachios & pistachio cream for dessert. It was nothing quite like i ever had. Very unique and flavorful- was fond of it very much.

23/11/2025: Ice cold pizza and a top crazy Wolt delivery that took 50 minutes to arrive despite being 15 minutes away. Wolt said I should write to Ych so it lands here. Tip for Ych: Stop using Wolt now.
