17/03/2025: Beautiful, spacious room, excellent breakfast, friendly staff and really well stocked honesty bar. Highly recommend!

16/03/2025: Hotel Villa Provence in Aarhus is a charming and atmospheric hotel with a fantastic location in the heart of the city. With plenty of good restaurants and shops just around the corner. The room was nice and cosy, and the hotel's French-inspired style provided a complete and authentic experience. Especially in the summer, the hotel will come into its own when the beautiful courtyard can be enjoyed to the fullest. The service was also welcoming and polite. A nice detail was the "newspaper" i.a. with the hotel's history. However, there are small things that can be improved. The breakfast area can feel a bit cramped and the temperature of the bath water was not always stable. The room was cold on arrival, and small practical details such as a too short cable for the kettle could be optimised. Another small thing is that not all guests like to mix drinks themselves - here it could be an advantage to point out that the staff are happy to help when they have time. All in all, Villa Provence is a wonderful experience, especially for those who value charm, personal atmosphere and good location.

07/05/2025: 1 May and the weather is good. So there were many in the square. We were lucky that some were about to leave so we could take over their table outside. A green draft beer for DKK 50. And DKK 55. Prices are okay for specialty beers. There is a stage inside and a good big room. Toilet was nice and clean. Follow me for more tips about Aarhus or elsewhere

23/03/2025: Jeg holdt min fødselsdag på ANX, da vi tidligere havde været der, og været fuldt tilfredse. Denne gang var vi 10 personer i selskabet, og vi blev ikke skuffede. Jeg havde bestilt frokostmenuen med tilhørende vinmenu. Retterne blev præsenteret efterhånden som de blev serveret. Det samme med vinene. Maden var veltillavet og smagte dejligt, og vinene passede til godt til maden. Jeg havde bestilt kaffe med hjemmelavede chokolader til, og der blev vi heller ikke skuffede. Personlig var jeg så mæt at jeg ikke kunne spise chokoladen, men det var der heldigvis en anden i selskabet der kunne. Både gæsterne og jeg var tilfredse med arrangementet. Meget venligt og opmærksomt personale fuldendte oplevelsen. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen.

The smørrebrød are beautifully presented, featuring classic Danish recipes elevated to a Michelin standard, along with some unique creations that you won’t find anywhere else. The service is impeccable—quick, attentive, and non-intrusive. The ambiance is both relaxed and refined, with enough space between tables to feel comfortable. I can’t recommend Anx highly enough!

11/05/2025: We tried the tasting menu last night and were literally sent on a culinary mountain tour. From the fragrant gundruk to buttery chicken tikka to a homemade mango lassi, everything was just perfect. The kitchen works quickly, the team smiles genuinely, and even the owner stopped by to ask if we were enjoying ourselves. Five stars are almost too few for this experience.

05/07/2025: Fantastic open sandwiches! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Each piece is on a whole small slice of rye bread. Have visited Klokken a few times now. All you can eat for DKK 299,- is quite ok even though you hardly eat more than three pieces, which cost about the same. But it is a strong offer since you have the table for 2.5 hours. Super cozy place. Definitely recommended! 👌

03/07/2025: We went to Klokken Aarhus with a total of nine people without a reservation and were thrilled. Excellent service, drinks arrived promptly, and the food didn't take long to arrive. The ambiance is very modern and appealing. We consider the prices to be fair for the portions offered. We would recommend this restaurant without reservation.

29/06/2025: A nice time slot that, unfortunately, is too few left. The food is quite expensive compared to what is delivered. There were 6 of us, all of whom got the steak sandwich. Unfortunately, the taste was a bit boring. The first time I have dropped salt on a steak sandwich. The staff is really nice and service-minded.

29/07/2025: A green oasis in the middle of Aarhus – and a fantastic terrarium course! Plukk is truly something special – a beautiful combination of plant shop and café, where you immediately feel relaxed and inspired. The atmosphere is calm and cozy, with plants from floor to ceiling and a decor that exudes creativity and green love. I participated in their terrarium workshop, and it was a fantastic experience! The instructor was both skilled and passionate, and we got lots of good tips on how to build and care for your own little ecosystem. All materials were included, and you got your own terrarium to take home – really good value for money.
