24/10/2025: We chose the restaurant as we were staying at the hotel and the weather was not inviting for a bushwalk. A bit high price level for a Norwegian these days, but the food we got was really good. One of the best meals I have been served in Skagen…..

18/09/2025: Restaurant Holger is the hotel's own restaurant at the Color Hotel in Skagen. We wouldn't have expected such a magnificent restaurant in a 4-star hotel. We had fish soup with a fantastic garnish, top-fresh mussels, langoustines, and cod. The soup was poured at the table... as it should be. Afterward, we had Atlantic lobster with crayfish, green asparagus, and sautéed mushrooms, simply divine! The price-performance ratio here is just right ⭐️

22/08/2024: Vi trålet havneområdet etter et sted å spise, men ikke helt enkelt. Mange stengte 14, mens andre åpnet 17. Så havnet vi her, middag åpnet 17 men det danskene kaller frokost var mulig. Då da ble det fiskefileter og danske smørrebrød og alle 6 ble fornøyde og gode og mette. Vi satt på utedelen i sola i god temp.

15/05/2024: Vi havde reserveret bord til 4 voksne og 3 børn fredag kl. 18.00 Vi var de første og eneste i restauranten i begyndelsen. Tjeneren kunne ikke forklar hvad "fyldt" fiskefilet bestod af, var i køkkenet for at spørge. Helt ok, men så var det forventelig at svaret også var hvad vi senere fik. Det var ikke tilfældet. Der var et par halve champignoner og lidt porre i noget sovs og ikke rejer og asparges som vi var stillet i udsigt. Portionerne var pænt store, men meget uens. Fisken var mere panering end fisk. Værst var dog at vi måtte vente 1 time! på maden, selvom vi kom kl. 18 og var alene i restauranten. Der kom så nogle andre gæster, omkring kl. 18.30, som der ikke var dækket op til, men der blev båret mad ind til dem straks? Helt igennem en uprofessionel og dårlig oplevelse. Der kommer vi ikke igen.

03/01/2026: This is the 3rd time we've come here on a Friday and it's closed even though it says open on Google and Facebook. Why don't you announce that you're closed? Do you have fun when people come and find it closed?

02/07/2024: The dough of pizza was very bad. We always order and it was very tasty, but today was absolutely another taste and consistency.

13/08/2025: Excellent little eat-cafe. Burgers were excellent (great portions) and the staff had plenty of time to help the kids choose their lunch. Would return.

08/03/2025: Two of us visited for roast pork on Wednesday 5/3 and we thought that your roast pork (the one without breading) was so dry that you couldn't bite through it (very dry and hard) and the breaded pork was tough and the edge was impossible to bite through. Due to the busyness, we couldn't get a hold of the staff (there was only one and it was very busy). You must be able to do better because you have had roast pork on Wednesdays for a long time also out in Vangen. A disappointed customer

13/07/2026: If you love a so-called Dive bar. Here, from morning to night, the local guys sit and drink beer, smoke and talk. Genuine, ha ha A hof costs 15 SEK.. Cheap, good

22/05/2026: I took 2 steps into this place in the middle of the morning when it looked empty and was immediately overwhelmed by the smell of cigarette smoke. I very quickly took 2 steps back out again. I would give no stars if I could

02/04/2026: Really a cozy place, with a lovely atmosphere and happy people. I was lucky enough that the owners were at their own pub that day. It was on darts hygge and later national match 🇩🇰 the place is not that big in size, but huge when it comes to being welcoming 😇✌️ 1000 thanks for a really good evening 👌😊

03/02/2026: Here is a review of the lunch at a normal cafe in Danish (neutral-positive): We had lunch at this cafe and the experience was completely satisfactory. The food was fresh and tasty, and the portions were adequate for lunch. The menu was easy to understand with a good selection of classic dishes. The service was friendly and efficient, and we felt welcome from the start. The wait was short, and the order was served without any problems. The cafe had a relaxed and cozy atmosphere, which is good for both a quick lunch and a longer stay. The place was clean and tidy, and the atmosphere was calm.
