The friendly service was perfect for us 👍🏻
The ambiance is simple but clean. The view of the harbor is beautiful.
We highly recommend it.
01/08/2023: The fish was good quality but everything else done without any effort. I took the Stjerneskud wich was served on sad toast bread and store bought dressing. For some reason pineapple was in the mix?
My company took the rødspættefilé that was well prepared and tasty but served with potatosallad directly from the bucket. Not pleasant.
Nice location and they clearly have access to good fish but they need to put some more effort into the food. Not recommended

25/07/2026: When all of Fredrikshamn is dead and you open the door to the monk, you are hit by a thick smell of smoke, loud music and a fantastic family atmosphere.
Locals who are happy and singing. Cheap beer. Fresh toilets. The remaining bars on the street need to step up a bit. Hats off to the monk.
Everyone should go here during their stay.

02/09/2025: Had a gift certificate from the previous owner, issued 3 weeks before the new owners took over the place, they are not obligated to redeem such a gift certificate, but did so anyway.
The pizzas were super good with crispy bottom 🙂

Vi er der ofte både "to go" og har spist der god service og igen rigtig god mad
26/02/2024: Have eaten pizza here a few times now. Super delicious pizza!! Delicious base, crispy crust. Good amount of filling with lots of flavor. The staff is super nice and the place, with their booths, exudes lots of coziness.

Should have a normal size pizza and a tray of fries
It ended up being a family pizza 198 for the whole thing, wow
But shit can happen. Where the chain completely falls apart for me is that
The fries tasted like fish
And the pizza base tasted like cardboard
Don't buy from here
I guarantee the frozen pizza on the menu is better and cheaper

Kødet var sejt og sovsen meget tyk.

14/04/2025: Super ophold på stedet med familien, 8 voksne og 2 børn. Smilende modtagelse og alt var klart til vores ankomst, OK værelser og meget fine campinghytter.. restaurant, maden, vinene og ikke mindst personalet var med til at give os et super ophold - afsluttet med hygge, kaffe og skønne drinks i pejsestuen _ og ikke mindst flot og god morgenmad dagen efter. En faktureringsfejl blev rettet med et smil. Fuld anbefaling herfra til prisen omend værelset er lidt slidt men fint.

10/05/2026: A nice experience confirmation with a great view. It was very disturbing that the guests who were having a party upstairs had to go down and through the room we were sitting in to get to the toilet.
I wish there was a much better signposting of where the golf cafe actually is,
if you don't know the place then it's hard to find the place.
