05/11/2024: We have just checked out of Brøndums Hotel and it was beyond expectations. We stayed in a family room. The room is about 200 meters away from the hotel in a beautiful building with the most adorable rooms. We had a weekend stay with 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts. It was wonderful taste experiences as well as really warm and good service. The whole hotel is full of history and you feel like you are in a little pocket in time. If you have come to Skagen to feel thrown back to the time of the Skagen painters, then this is exactly where you should be :) Many thanks to you at Brøndums Hotel - it has been magical days.

27/10/2024: Fik 3 retter første aften og 4 retter anden aften. Maden var udsøgt, virkelig lækre råvarer og hjerne præsenteret dem flot. Crepes suzette blev flamberet ved bordet og smagte fantastisk. Flotte smagfulde fiskeretter. Fik virkelig god mad og vandvittig god betjening

20/10/2024: The most delicious spa we have ever been to 🙌 the atmosphere is relaxing, there is plenty to choose from, nothing to put your finger on!. The rooms are nice and clean. The food in the restaurant is really delicious, the breakfast is really good too, plenty to choose from 🙌🙌. The only thing that is a little practice is the location. There is nothing around, so if you go out for a walk in the evening... well, you will find nothing around for young people.

14/09/2024: Super nice place. Friendly staff who helped us with a problem. They had patience and were more than willing to help. The spa area was delicious and easy to get to from the room.

I visited while in Skagen for the day and was drawn to the cozy ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the Texas Burger, which came with a warm bun, a 200g beef patty, salsa, jalapenos, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and homemade dressing, all served with crispy fries. The flavors were bold, with the jalapenos adding just the right amount of spice, and the homemade dressing tying everything together perfectly. My wife chose the Hollywood Burger, featuring the same delicious 200g beef patty, topped with sautéed mushrooms, onion rings, cheddar cheese, lettuce, onions, pickles, and the house-made dressing, also accompanied by fries. She loved the richness of the mushrooms and onion rings, which gave the burger a unique, hearty flavor. For our daughter, the Children’s Burger was a hit. A simple, well-sized burger served with fries, it was the perfect portion for her. Restaurant California not only delivered on flavor but also on service. The staff was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. 07/10/2024: Dette var en skikkelig positiv overaskelse. Maten her var utrolig bra. Vi hadde en 3 retters meny som gikk rett hjem for de som valgte denne. Flott blanding av kjøtt , fisk og dessert. Hit kommer vi garantert tilbake.

22/09/2024: Vi bestilte to 4-retter menuer og de blev flot præsenteret. De smagte rigtig godt og især deres helstegte dansk kalvemørbrad er noget af det bedste jeg har smagt i mange år. Vi kommer igen.

08/08/2024: Great place. The food is absolutely perfect and up to any standard you could possibly expect. The raw materials are fresh and delicious and as such keeps the taste of the sushi fresh and tame. Overall delicious and fantastic service.

09/10/2024: We are currently on vacation in Denmark and "landed" here on the way back from a walk on the beach. Well, or navigated here 😉. We can only recommend this small, very cozy café. Not only were the owners really nice, friendly and accommodating, you were also always given more coffee, just like that. I have never experienced anything like this in Germany. The food, in this case the house-style burger, was a dream, the beef was a poem and the strawberry milkshake (of which my daughter even took one with her on the go 😀)... simply delicious. We were able to pay by card, so no problem and at the end we had a little conversation with the owner, even in German. So, if your stomach is growling and you're in the area, go to Café Mathilde.
