16/07/2025: 2nd time I've visited the place.. My friend and I had bought a deal for a sandwich buffet.. 😉
The sandwiches are good and nicely decorated.. Especially the potato dish is a big hit.. Ate 3 of them.. 😋 🥰
Will definitely come again..

08/07/2025: Just a 100% recommendation. Not much to say about the Location itself- in this place just awesome. Service and Food were exeptionally good today. All dishes WE ordered were excellent. Full score and clear recommendation.

29/07/2025: After experiencing such poor service and no food at another place, we stopped here. The food was great, as was the ambiance.
26/07/2025: First of all, the restaurant is definitely recommended by Danish standards.
The price/performance ratio is also reasonably good. Dogs are allowed outside.
For the food, the fries were very good, the burgers and spare ribs were also good, though one could have expected a bit more seasoning.
What wasn't good, however, were the tables outside that weren't cleaned, even though no one had been sitting there beforehand. On top of that, there were dirty cutlery and equally dirty napkins (on 3 out of 4 sets).
The service staff was so-so, apparently temporary staff for the holidays.

Meget fin betjening og gode café retter. Vi fik cæsar salat og clubsandwich, begge dele lækkert og friskt.
Fornuftige priser.

The steaks didn't taste of anything and the bearnaise sauce didn't taste good.
07/07/2025: Came to Denmark on. Motorbike for the day via Norway. Had just enough time to find lunch and make the ferry back. This place was spectacular unlit, quaint, on the harbor, overlooking many boats, the owner and staff we genuine and a pleasure to talk to. Will definitely find my way back.

29/06/2025: The rooms were a lot better than on the pictures from the website! They have this 70s aesthetic, but are not old in cleaning, care and utility. The shower was great, the bed super comfortable, and the room plenty ventilated and nice. The ceilings were low though! And so we had a few headbanging incidents (not the concert kinds).
The breakfast was SO wonderful. The mood and service just fantastic, they even played hits from the 70s. So cute. It proper feels like a throw back in time, but in all the best ways.
The staff is super nice and friendly. You can really feel the heart going into the place.

Sleeping in this hotel is like stepping back in time, the perfect frame of mind for a visit to the museum and the house of Anna and Mickael Ancher.
This experience requires tolerance for the imperfections of the building, which charmed us with its authenticity.
09/07/2025: Took the most expensive room in Admiralgaarden. The room was very worn, lots of water leaks on the wallpaper and ceiling. The bathroom is very old and unfresh. Smelled of drains and paint peeling everywhere both inside and out. The service was decent, but amateurish - for example, they came to clean 10 minutes before check-out while we were still in the room. Just opened the door and didn't knock first. Things like that make you feel like it's run a bit unprofessionally. The breakfast was delicious but a lot of it ran out all the time. But the breakfast was the best thing about the place.
Had lunch (breakfast) too and it was overpriced and the open sandwiches much worse than you get in other similar places.

21/06/2025: We had a lovely meal, but overheard how the table next to us was being served. It was a Swedish mother with a daughter of about 10 years old. The mother asked if they could share a large Wienersnitzel, and was told that normally you can't share a portion, but let it go this time, but never come back and ask to share. I don't think they can be aware of that.
