19/08/2025: The food is the most real, well made and just perfect there can be. They bake the bread, make the jams, cook the ham, do everything from scratch in the oldschool way. The dinner dishes was sublime. Breaded and panfried Plaice is served all over Skagen, but the one we had here was next level, there is probably not a better to be had in Denmark! The owner is a rare case of a Chef with a knowlage spanning decades and refuses to compromise on anything from breakfast to dinner, a rare gem of a Chef and a class woman. Everything we ate here was as good as oldschool, authentic homemade cooking can be. All the produce they use is of the highest quality. As a Chef myself, this is one of the Realest experiances i have ever had and a was honored to be alowed into the retro kitchen for a look. The kitchen with the 50years old stove is the cleanest kitchen i have ever seen. My only regret is not booking a longer stay, but we will come back next year.

19/04/2025: Meget hyggelig café med borde og handel mellem hinanden. Pynteting og porcelæn. Meget fin betjening og gode café retter. Vi fik cæsar salat og clubsandwich, begge dele lækkert og friskt. Fornuftige priser.

20/08/2025: At first glance, it seems like a cozy restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. We looked at the menu, which was displayed on a large board outside, and almost immediately a staff member greeted us. However, she remained standing there, which I found pushy. Because the menu appealed to us, we decided to eat here. While we were still trying to sit down, the same staff member brought us the menus, again intrusive. Tip: don't do this; let guests sit first and choose their meal at their leisure. She asked twice if we had decided what we wanted to drink/eat, all in less than 10 minutes! This pushy behavior was evident again. The food was delivered very quickly, which I found suspicious, but despite this, it looked and tasted good. Unfortunately, my steak wasn't medium, but well-done. While eating, they constantly watched to see if they could clear the plates, which wasn't a pleasant experience. The price was a bit high for three people. My rating is somewhere in the middle.

13/08/2025: A very nice swimming pool with a sauna. Use of the sauna is free, but you have to pay for the steam bath. There are plenty of play options for young and old, as well as the opportunity to swim laps in peace. This is a very nice alternative for days when you can't make it to the beach.

26/08/2025: Very quiet and discreetly located behind the dunes. Danish cleaning staff, but satisfactory. Perhaps not the best value for money, but that's true throughout the country.

22/07/2025: It was an absolutely fantastic experience to eat the seafood tower, it was just top notch. ❤️

28/08/2025: Our favorite store in Frederikshavn. Good selection, good opening hours and knowledgeable and dedicated staff. The wine department has a lot of interesting bottles and sometimes at real bargain prices. Like 40% off 50 different French wines.

14/08/2025: I wouldn’t recommend this place. I’ve been there twice, only because it’s very close to the ferry station. My last visit was even more disappointing than the first. I’m not even sure if what I got was actually the chicken wrap I ordered.
