04/05/2025: Vi har idag været til konfirmation. Virkelig behagelig service og maden var også helt i top! Vi har også tidligere været til brunch og 3 andre konfirmationer på hotellet. Altid en fornøjelse.

16/03/2025: Super good baker, sweet staff. Bread and cakes taste fantastic. This applies to both rye bread, ciabatta, pastries, sandwiches, etc.

06/05/2025: Located in the middle of the village and close to everything. Excellent service and also food. Quite simply lots of "hygge"... but if you want to live with a shower and toilet, you have to live in the Admiralshuset annex, which is 100 m away.

05/05/2025: We gathered 27 people from the immediate family for a round birthday celebration. We were at the hotel for two days. Great atmosphere, lots of beauty and a friendly and relaxed staff. We will definitely come again.

18/05/2025: 2nd time I've visited the place.. My friend and I had bought a deal for a sandwich buffet.. 😉 The sandwiches are good and nicely decorated.. Especially the mashed potatoes are a big hit.. Ate 3 of them.. 😋 🥰 Will definitely come again..

09/02/2025: Normally we have not had problems with Bones in Frederikshavn, but this day we were there was different. However, we were met by a waiter immediately and given a table and notes to be filled in with our order. Then nothing more happened, a quarter of an hour passed and no one came and collected the order notes, nor asked what we wanted to drink. It must be said that it was not busy at that time. I went up with the notes myself and asked why they had forgotten us and got a sour look instead. When the food finally arrived we still hadn't had our drinks. I had to go up myself and ask for more fries as no waiters came down to us as they usually do. When they ran a campaign in the restaurant called BBQ battle, the burger was smaller and the meat was dry. We ate the food anyway and mentioned it when we paid but the waiter got angry and didn't say anything.

08/05/2025: I ordered 75. SPAGHETTI ALLA CARBONARA spaghetti with bacon, fresh eggs, cream sauce and Parmesan cheese Price 99,- I expect an okay pasta carbonara, albeit with cream, but now that it says it's with cream, it's perfectly okay. BUT, what on earth is nutmeg supposed to do in a carbonara???? Not only that there was so much nutmeg that it tasted like perfume, my mouth is completely numb, I really hope someone has mistaken the pepper and nutmeg somehow. Damn, I'm sick of this right, practice, practice, practice. The phone was answered by a girl who could not understand taking an order, I speak or clearly. Then I got a nice lady who took the order right away. She also served me in the restaurant, at pickup, incredibly welcoming and friendly, good service and pleasant. The premises are bright and comfortable. Nice furniture, cozy surroundings.

12/05/2025: Good bath house nice sauna and the cold bath was a positive surprise. Warm in the pool and everything was in good order. Clean and tidy 👍

20/04/2025: The second time we visit the swimming pool and the first time was super nice, and we all had a good time and our daughter then (1.5 years) didn't experience so many problems. Today we have been there, and it is both a call to all children, parents and even lifeguards, to keep a closer eye on children and, unfortunately, also adults for that matter, there are big children in the baby pool (0-4 years) who splash wildly and jump around. In the children's pool, there are also big children and unfortunately also adults who splash and jump around wildly without thinking that there are small children, as young as 1 year old there, and generally just other people. I've had to say something to another child three times today because the parents weren't paying attention, asked two big kids to go away from the baby pool and been close to being knocked over (and I'm heavily pregnant) by a full-grown man who splashes wildly with water, is very violent and a very big child. There was no understanding and no intervention, could see many were frustrated. In the end I moved, although I don't feel you should behave like that, in a children's pool. In general, I feel more like an advocate for myself and my children, to take care of them and myself. Where I feel the lifeguards should perhaps secure the conditions and ensure everyone takes each other into consideration? Instead of me as a paying customer having to comment on it every time. Fortunately, my 3-year-old enjoyed himself and didn't notice, but we'll probably choose another swimming pool next time and wouldn't recommend it, unless you want to play lawyer. There is a huge pool for adults and big kids; but they always fall just to be where the small children should be. Where is there room for us?

14/02/2025: Valentins day dinner på Plesners Restaurant i Skagen blev en gevaldig skuffelse i de fine nyrenoverede lokaler. Det var desværre kvaliteten af maden det var galt med. Vi valgte forskellige retter til både for og hovedret. Den ene forret var baseret på foie gras. Mængden af foie gras var helt uden for kategori og burde være en hovedret værdig. Hvilket spild af gode råvarer. Den anden forret baseret på kammusling var fint balanceret. Hovedretter var et kapitel helt for sig. En ret baseret på oksemørbrad var sej og fyldt med sener og fedt. Den var umulig at tykke sig igennem og blev returneret til køkkenet. Der kom en forklaring tilbage fra køkkenet, via tjeneren, om at oksemørbrad altid er fyldt med sener og der kan være en del fedt..... Ikke en opfattelse som jeg deler. Fik dog mulighed for at bestille en ny hovedret. Det blev en ribeye. Den var desværre helt branket og sej. Også uspiselig og måtte ud til køkkenet igen.... Fiskehovedretten var fin og lækker. Med 2 hovedretter som ikke var særlig gode og som begge gik tilbage til køkkenet havde jeg forventet en vis form for kompensation da vi bad om regningen...... Men skete desværre ikke. Alt i alt en kedelig oplevelse på Valentin s day

31/01/2025: Vi havde en helt igennem fantastisk oplevelse på Restaurant Plesners! Stemningen var hyggelig, og servicen var i top. Vores tjener var utroligt venlig og imødekommende – han sørgede for, at vi følte os godt tilpas hele aftenen og gav en service ud over det sædvanlige. Maden var en sand fornøjelse! Hver ret var velsmagende og perfekt tilberedt, og vinmenuen var nøje afstemt med retterne, hvilket løftede oplevelsen endnu mere. Alt spillede, fra start til slut, og vi kunne ikke have ønsket os en bedre aften. Vi kan varmt anbefale Restaurant Plesners og glæder os allerede til at komme igen!

20/03/2025: A very cozy place. The food was very tasty and nice and hot. The service staff is extremely friendly without being intrusive. She gave the impression that she had fun and enjoyed working. We really liked it!

27/10/2024: Was fun. The landlady is funny, the licorice ice cream is delicious and the prices are “Danish normal”.

25/04/2025: Cozy inn, highly recommended. We shared an omelette that was airy, delicious and with lots of bacon 😬 The rye bread, like so many other places, unfortunately does not bear the mark of anything special.

24/02/2025: Super good burger and delicious fries! The dressing tasted deliciously homemade and really gave the meal an extra kick. The service was friendly and accommodating, but on arrival we had to wait a bit without anything happening which was a bit strange. Fortunately, the experience was saved by the good food and the fine service afterwards. All in all a good experience and I would love to come again!
