22/11/2025: Delicious burgers and homemade lemonades. Friendly and fast service. The place is kept in the American style of roadside bars: warm, friendly, and inviting. We took advantage of the offer of two mini burgers for 70 kroner. We tried four flavors in total. Two is easily enough to satisfy a small hunger.

30/10/2025: Yes an angry young girls who couldn't smile now but maybe a bad day. Slow to take our order. Yes 35 minutes later our burger comes laid in a very tvedbæk looked like bread thing hard like coal well yes it looked like coal black bread tvedbæk meat salad tasted good fries were good .but refusal u ha no .but got pressured her got 10 percent wow never come there again and mean never again coal burger .

17/08/2025: Heading: Eminent shrimp food in incredibly cozy surroundings We had been recommended the shrimp dish and it must be said that it did not disappoint in any way. On the contrary, we do not remember when we have had a better one. Fresh ingredients, plenty of shrimp, delicious sourdough and a delicious home-made mayo In the right amount without being vulgar. Simple, but shows what it does when you treat your ingredients well. The potato dish was also delicious and highly recommended, but the shrimp dish was the one you remember. Thank you for the food and good service with a nice bad humor The cake has been a little surprisingly expensive, and in several places you have not felt you got value for money, but that was not the case here

15/08/2025: Very cozy in the garden. We were only here for a quick coffee and a beer, but what the people had on their tables didn't look bad.

25/08/2025: This place serves ice cream and coffee. We went here buying 2 icecreams and 1 ice coffee. The icecream tastes really good, it is Castberg ice which is a quality danish brand. The Iced coffee also tasted really great. You can sit outside og inside. The place easily gets crowded though as there are not many places to sit... Prices are a bit high but so is the quality. The liquorice ice in particular tastes just awesome... I can highly recommend this place for both ice and coffee..

07/12/2025: My wife and I came in to have some dinner with the kids we ordered their gorgonzola and there's number 60 for the kids tasted very good and really good service the kids were also served lollipops 🍭 and they also offer caramels there's the atmosphere in the restaurant is really delicious with well-known Christmas music 🎅 which the kids also knew, really nice colleagues who welcomed us with respect and confidence can really be recommended and come by and try it with the kids big recommendation from here 😀

07/10/2025: Stayed here with colleagues a couple weeks ago (late September - Weather was phenomenal). Property and rooms were immaculate. Dining menu was top notch with fantastic selections of fare and wine. Staff were friendly, courteous and on point. Location was fantastic for golf (less then a 100 m away to a great links course), beach approximately 700 m, and the dunes less then 10 min by car. Also only a short drive to historic Skagen (worth the trip). As someone who travels extensively I would highly recommend this property - be sure to ask for a tour of the property - if you are a car and motorcycle aficionado you will be very pleasantly surprised.

29/09/2025: We recently booked Hotel Hvide Kilt for a team meeting, and I can say without hesitation that it exceeded my every expectation. Located in a beautifully remote location beside an impressive links golf course, the hotel offered the perfect blend of outdoor activity and natural beauty — ideal for both work and relaxation. The clear weather during our stay made the experience even more special. Just a short 10-minute drive brought us to the west coast of the peninsula, was perfect for taking a break. The landscape is unique, unlike anywhere else I have been. A particularly memorable aspect was seeing the historic German WWII bunkers along the shore. Saturday evening was truly the highlight. We gathered in the hotel’s restaurant for a team dinner and were treated to an exceptional three-course meal, with amazing flavors and a nice selection of wines. The quality and creativity impressed the whole team - even the foody on the team. Afterward, I stepped outside for some are and was stunned by the visibility of the night sky. With no city lights to interfere, the stars felt closer than ever. Hotel Hvide Kilt offers both comfort and opportunieis for fun in equal measure. For a group or just exploring Denmark's natural and historical beauty, this place is highly recommended.

12/01/2026: I had pasta carbonara, very tasty, unreal hot food. As far as I know pizza, it was just frozen and heated. It's very cold in the room, you need a jacket. The music, it's like in a massage parlor, although it's an "Italian restaurant" 😆

30/11/2025: Christmas lunch at Møllehuset in Frederikshavn: A disaster from start to finish We were six adults and a small baby for their Christmas buffet – an experience that unfortunately ended up being one of the most unprofessional events I have ever attended. When booking, we informed them that we were coming with a baby and wanted a table by a window, so that we could have the stroller close and in sight. This was confirmed without hesitation. When we arrived, it turned out that yes, the table was by a window – but on the other side of the window there was a slope down towards the water, where a stroller obviously cannot stand. In other words: the promise was not fulfilled, and the stroller had to be placed in a place where we could not see it at all. A really bad start. But unfortunately that was only the beginning. We were seated 10 minutes earlier, as they requested. Yet it took 45-60 minutes before anyone even came to ask what we wanted to drink. When you only have 3 hours for the whole event, this is completely unacceptable. When the drinks finally arrived, of course one was missing – and even after pointing it out, another 5-10 minutes passed without anything happening. It seemed as if the staff were constantly forgetting things and running around without any overview. We quickly noticed that it wasn’t just us: the tables around us were also waiting for up to an hour for their drinks. Many guests complained loudly about the lack of service, poor service and a staff that clearly had nothing to do with anything. The atmosphere in the room was anything but Christmassy. The buffet was also nowhere near ready. Basic dishes such as pork roast, potatoes, fish fillet, etc. were constantly missing. Guests stood in line several times, only to discover that the dishes were empty again – and that it could take 5-10 minutes before anything was refilled. The quality of the food was ok, but certainly not enough to save the overall experience. In addition, a beer menu is placed on the table with 15 different beers – but only 3 are in stock. A detail that sums up the entire evening very well: Lots of promises, no delivery. I have rarely experienced such poor organization, such slow service and such little overview at an event that should have been planned well in advance and run according to routine. It seemed as if the staff were far too few, far too stressed and without coordination. Everyone at our table agreed: This was not a Christmas party – it was chaos. Unfortunately, it is clear that this was not just an isolated incident. Subsequently, we can see that many others have experienced the same thing. My recommendation is therefore clear: Cancel if you have booked, and save yourself the disappointment.

01/10/2025: Apart from the TV remote not working, everything was fine. We went downstairs and had the batteries changed but unfortunately that didn't help.

23/11/2025: A fantastic shooting star for a late lunch. Good ingredients and pan-fried fish fillet. And a delicious glass of white wine to go with it. A wonderful experience can definitely be recommended.

26/09/2025: I think it was a very negative atmosphere on the part of the waiters and when you had to choose food from the menu they came back relatively quickly so you didn't have time to choose anything.

27/09/2025: We had a bad experience. Ordered a fried chicken BBQ burger and what we were served was raw. I commented on it and was told that's how they are. Ended up paying 150 kr and threw it all out except for the fries. Last time we eat there..

19/09/2025: A very authentic snack bar, with rustic tables and chairs. But it's cozy and hyggelig. The fish and chips were excellent. Exactly what you'd expect. The staff is very friendly, and the fried fish was really good. We felt at home.

16/10/2025: A beautiful place with excellent food! Ribeye steak with homemade béarnaise sauce – a poem! You can see the ships moored at anchor, and especially at dusk, it's a beautiful and pleasant place to eat well and enjoy life!

13/09/2025: We chose the café over the restaurant, and it was a great experience: the fish and chips were excellent, the prawn dish (rajemad) superb, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the location was beautiful. Well done!

02/12/2025: Great little place with an incredibly cozy atmosphere. The service was top notch and the food even better. Definitely have to come back for more! Good place for a cozy outing, but not for large groups.
