30/08/2025: First but not last visit to Hyttefadet, where I had salmon. Really good food.

26/08/2025: Dinner is served very early. It was a good experience, but I noticed they're selective about who they accept, and I don't think that's fair.

The presentation was elegant and it was clear that the chefs put a lot of love and care into every single element. The staff were professional, friendly and extremely attentive 👍

23/08/2025: We actually came here again today to accept the advertised dinner invitation as compensation. The schnitzel was really good, the burger tasted fantastic... We found the invitation very generous – so the compensation was a success. Thank you very much! Thank you for your response, which I found very genuine and personable. Mistakes happen everywhere – I just think it's important to deal with them well. And with your response, you show greatness! We'd be happy to come by tomorrow, Friday evening, to accept your dinner invitation as compensation. Thank you in advance! We will never eat at this restaurant again. I would not recommend it to anyone! Reason: We were served moldy bread with our salmon salad, which is an absolute no-go! This was followed by only a small apology. No discount, no concession whatsoever. In my opinion, that's completely unacceptable!

20/07/2025: Overall, the location was great, and the breakfast was good. However, the room was not air conditioned . The room was an oven, and the bad on the terrace played until about midnight making sleep impossible.

31/08/2025: This is the best restaurant i've been to in a long time. Quiet atmosphere, well made delicious food, and the best part - it's quite affordable and the portions are huge. I got two plates of food thinking it would be the same portion as servings in other restaurants, but to my surprise it was much plentiful than i expected. Please if you're ever in Skagen, do patronize them.

31/08/2025: The food was excellent, however the staff would not serve tap water stating that there was no water in the tap. They wanted to sell us some very expensive bottled water instead for around €4.5. The staff were surly and not very friendly. Food really good though and also good value.

10/09/2025: Authentic Italian pizza, authentic Italian atmosphere, and authentic Italian staff. In short, absolutely perfect and definitely worth a return visit.

13/09/2025: We stayed for two nights in May for an anniversary. In my opinion, calling the place a seaside hotel is misleading. It is more like an inn. The rooms are similar to Danhostel's rooms, but nice and clean. The food is quite good and the old inn room is very authentic. The waiter was very service-minded and nice. The breakfast was fairly boring and was served in a boring room. All in all, an ok stay, but it is not a place where you sit and enjoy yourself in the evening outside the season. And the feeling of having gotten a lot for your money was lacking, as the quality was according to the price.
