14/08/2025: We were on our way to the ferry to Sweden and spent one night here.
The room was great, the beds comfortable. Breakfast was a bit difficult for vegetarians and picky eaters, but the supermarket around the corner was able to help out.
08/08/2025: Beautiful hotel right on Fredrikshavn harbor.
Our room was spacious, bright, and clean. The beds were great!
The bathroom is a bit older, but very clean. That's the most important thing.
The staff is incredibly friendly. Breakfast was extensive and delicious!
You can walk to the town center in just a few minutes, where you'll find some restaurants and shops.
Highly recommended!

The surroundings are ok, located at the bottom of the harbor. 🤷♂️
26/08/2025: Ate a fish fritter that probably came straight from the freezer to the fryer, because I simply don't know how you can serve such a bad fish fritter that was both dry and rubbery at the edges...
Actually the expedition was nice enough, but it seemed like a place that had been converted from a bodega to a dining establishment

24/08/2025: Super friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, quiet location, ideal distance to Skagen, room furnishings (especially the bathrooms) have an older charm, but are clean.
03/08/2025: The bathroom is very spartan and very cramped.
The room's furnishings, lacking ample storage and a dirty carpet, don't really invite you to stay....

The burgers are very tasty. They cut back a bit on quality just before closing time, which is a shame.
The ordering terminals are only in Danish, no English, and no German either. Which is a shame, especially since there are a lot of tourists there now.
25/08/2025: I can definitely recommend this place. It has completely changed our standards of what fast food means. The quality, taste and speed of the food served there and the friendliness of the staff are simply great.

02/08/2025: I ordered two wraps, the lavash was tasty, the contents of the wraps could have been better. I probably wouldn't go there a second time.

28/08/2025: A colorful, varied buffet with fish dishes, tasty fish, large portions
27/08/2025: Four of us ate here yesterday, and everything was perfect! The food was delicious, both the hot fish dishes and the cold, original salads and seafood 🍤 You can go to the buffet as often as you like and try everything. Mussels, crab claws, fried calamari, you name it.
The view of the harbor is fantastic. You can sit casually outside under the heaters (if you like), there are blankets, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. We'd love to go back, and all for the equivalent of €30 plus drinks. You can't find this kind of quality in Germany.
The staff was very friendly. We'll be back when we're in Skagen.
