17/08/2026: We came with a group of 10 people, we asked if it was possible to reserve but it wasn't possible. We ordered some brunch and some of us ordered the dagens brunch, without knowing that it would take so long and that it came with eggs and bacon. Only some of us were from Denmark, as you may understand in other Europeans countries it is mandatory to mention every thing on the menu. I guess it is not the case in Denmark, but it would be nice of you to mention everything on it. I would recommend to anyone going there to make sure you have time, we waited 1h30-2h. But the food was nice and we really loved the decorations.

18/08/2026: Great burgers, fantastic fries, and even the mayo is homemade. The service is top-notch too. Tip: Definitely go for lunch between 11 am and 4 pm, they have a great lunch menu at very reasonable prices.

21/08/2026: Place "serve yourself" style. It's pretty nice and clean, at good location (the port) and free parking nearby. The food was fine and fresh (we ordered fish and chips) and relatively cheap. But the dish size is accordingly not large. Frankly speaking we ate better versions of this in other places.

20/08/2026: We stopped at this restaurant on the harbor to try some local dishes and were very pleased. We tried Stjerneskud, Fiskefrikadeller, Rejemad, Fish & Chips, and Sprøde Løgringe. All very good. For four people, including a beer, a Pepsi, and two waters, we spent 763 kroner; the portions weren't generous.

29/08/2026: This is a bakery with incredibly friendly staff. Delicious pastries and the wonderful aroma of fresh rolls. Don't worry about the prices, your taste buds will decide! I'll definitely be back!

09/08/2026: Huge fan! Thank you for a thoroughly well-executed menu with fantastic taste experiences. We haven't tasted mullet and tusk before, and they have definitely made it onto our list of good fish. We had the August seasonal menu with 4 taste experiences, which is highly recommended. I'm not a fan of sorbet ice cream myself, but my husband was also a huge fan of yellow watermelon sorbet ice cream 🙏 Good atmosphere, nice decor and a staff that happily answers all questions about the food. We will happily come back next time we are in North Jutland

19/04/2026: Super nice hotel. Lovely room, nothing missing. Nice beds. The staff really makes you feel welcome and comfortable. The only downside was the coffee in the room, it wasn't to my taste. But a mega high recommendation from here, we would love to come back.

12/04/2026: We have had two fantastic days at Ruths Hotel. We were offered an upgrade from a double room to an apartment for a modest amount, which we did not regret. There was a fireplace in the living room, where firewood had been prepared. The staff at the hotel were extremely attentive, present and welcoming. We ate in the brasserie the first evening, and were well served by Benjamin who gave good guidance in terms of choosing a wine. The following evening we ate at Okes and experienced a light and friendly atmosphere here. Herbert and Loui managed to take us through the 19 courses in total with smiles and a fantastic presence. Occasionally the restaurant manager stopped by, helped with serving and we exchanged experiences with various things within the world of gastronomy. Jack Cramer was also out to present a few of the courses. All in all, a fantastic experience visiting both Ruths Hotel, and especially Restaurant Okes.

19/08/2025: The food is the most real, well made and just perfect there can be. They bake the bread, make the jams, cook the ham, do everything from scratch in the oldschool way. The dinner dishes was sublime. Breaded and panfried Plaice is served all over Skagen, but the one we had here was next level, there is probably not a better to be had in Denmark! The owner is a rare case of a Chef with a knowlage spanning decades and refuses to compromise on anything from breakfast to dinner, a rare gem of a Chef and a class woman. Everything we ate here was as good as oldschool, authentic homemade cooking can be. All the produce they use is of the highest quality. As a Chef myself, this is one of the Realest experiances i have ever had and a was honored to be alowed into the retro kitchen for a look. The kitchen with the 50years old stove is the cleanest kitchen i have ever seen. My only regret is not booking a longer stay, but we will come back next year.

03/09/2025: A great area; you can enjoy the sea and see the lighthouse, and even climb up to the top. It's worth a visit.
