01/02/2026: Everything is bad, as it should be a truck stop, yes you can buy almost everything, but bad burger you don't buy heat inside, the grill bar closes so early 2/3pm, pay for a shower, the layout also pays but 3 people go down for the same price, if you buy food the price is like gold plated. And not least the toilets are not cleaned, 😡

24/12/2025: This is one of the few best restaurants in Frederikshavn. They serve deluxe variants of the Danish Open sandwich (called 'smørrebrød' in Danish). They also serve a few hot dishes As we were there at Christmas time we ordered smoked duck and pork . Both tasted really great and was indulged with two local beers. The service is great and so are the food. Prices are fair and the atmosphere is always cousy and relaxed. That is why i can very highly recommend this restaurant.

22/11/2025: Luxurious sandwiches in the middle of the pedestrian street in Frederikshavn. 107 (!) different schnapps and good beer on tap. Bright premises in the best Danish design. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. A must.

15/12/2025: Definitely acceptable Chinese food at affordable prices. Large selection, menus and buffet. Suitable for small and large groups. Generous portions.

23/01/2026: We enjoyed a really delicious brunch. We didn't stay at the hotel, but it is possible to eat here anyway. The surroundings, atmosphere, friendly and professional staff and delicious brunch, with the opportunity to try e.g. Eggs Benedicts. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

19/08/2025: The food is the most real, well made and just perfect there can be. They bake the bread, make the jams, cook the ham, do everything from scratch in the oldschool way. The dinner dishes was sublime. Breaded and panfried Plaice is served all over Skagen, but the one we had here was next level, there is probably not a better to be had in Denmark! The owner is a rare case of a Chef with a knowlage spanning decades and refuses to compromise on anything from breakfast to dinner, a rare gem of a Chef and a class woman. Everything we ate here was as good as oldschool, authentic homemade cooking can be. All the produce they use is of the highest quality. As a Chef myself, this is one of the Realest experiances i have ever had and a was honored to be alowed into the retro kitchen for a look. The kitchen with the 50years old stove is the cleanest kitchen i have ever seen. My only regret is not booking a longer stay, but we will come back next year.

18/01/2026: Unfortunately, I was charged twice, and the receipt was thrown away immediately after being processed. When I inquired, the situation became perfectly clear: they knew right away that something had gone wrong and that I had overpaid by about 60 euros because our friends' bill, which they had already paid, hadn't been removed from the table. The difference was then refunded in crowns, but a bad taste remains, and a sincere apology was not forthcoming.

19/10/2025: We are greeted by a waiter at the entrance, we get a nice welcome and the waiter is professional and well-dressed even calm. We are shown to our table, we sit down. We choose a 3-course menu each. I don't have many words to say about the food, it was consistently exceptional. The food tasted fantastic, the composition was thought out and the ingredients were local and good. Late in the evening the entire restaurant was full, so it was challenging to be so many people in the same place. There should be some form of ventilation, as the air was heavy even though the atmosphere was relaxed and calm. The music was muted and comfortable, the room was heated, the decoration in the room is characterized by pearl plates, empty bottles, pictures and a lot of other things. Instead, the decoration should illuminate the river, Sæby and cultural history. Fresh flowers would like to make a difference, I wonder why there were no flowers in the restaurant, when the food they serve is at a high level of chef skills. Served on the table as an extra service: 2 baskets of: Sourdough bread with old-fashioned kernel butter from Aabybro Dairy. Starters: 2 pcs: Haddock with soy, kimchi, carrot and pumpkin. 1 pc: Mushrooms in hollandaise sauce, sprinkled with yeast. Main courses: 1 pc: Slow-cooked veal. 1 pc: Red deer fillet. Dessert: 1 pc: Beer bread with ice cream and meringue. Drinks: 2 pcs: Pepsi Max bottle. 1 pc: non-alcoholic beer. 1 pc: jug of water. We'll be back.

11/10/2025: Friendly service, but the food was nothing special. We got schnitzel and fish n chips. Schnitzel was wet with grease and not crispy. French fries were the usual kind you get at a grill bar. There was only one (not very large) piece of fish for fish n chips. The peas were a bit overcooked. For the food we ended up with 280kr and we weren't very full. We won't be back👎🏻

05/09/2025: Good atmosphere and lots of people. Reasonable prices. Fast service. During the Moped Festival there can be a lot of people and lots of mopeds outside. The inn sets up a hot plate.

20/07/2025: Cheap drinks, but otherwise meh…

26/11/2025: We entered half an hour before closing and they still agreed to prepare warm meals for us. The food itself tasted delicious and the ambience was great as well. Can definitely recommend and will come back if I visit the town again.

15/11/2025: We got a vegetarian pancake and a nutella pancake and it was really delicious. Above all expectations.
