18/11/2025: Really a lovely place. Nice rooms and good service

28/09/2025: We have just been on a weekend stay from September 26 to September 28, 2025. We come from Fredericia and on Friday afternoon I sit in the car and read the various other people's reviews and some where I sit and worry, where I think omg what have we ordered. But I have to say it was all done to shame. Delicious food and in appropriate quantities, delicious rose wine and my husband likes his red wine. Cozy little room, which was clean and neat. Servers in a super good mood and humor and fresh to humorous chat and smiling staff in general and a reasonable breakfast buffet. Cozy outdoor area and 10 minutes walk to the beach or coast if you want. Nevertheless, I would at least give 5 stars for a great stay. That said, just a few small footnotes. Maybe a mild toilet scent in the toilet in the room could be an idea (vanilla). Watercress as a garnish on the appetizer instead of parsley. And 2 extra Tonics for the Gin and Tonic Water package that you can buy. If we were to think about going north again, Aalbæk Badehotel would definitely be where we would stay again. 07/10/2025: Stayed here with colleagues a couple weeks ago (late September - Weather was phenomenal). Property and rooms were immaculate. Dining menu was top notch with fantastic selections of fare and wine. Staff were friendly, courteous and on point. Location was fantastic for golf (less then a 100 m away to a great links course), beach approximately 700 m, and the dunes less then 10 min by car. Also only a short drive to historic Skagen (worth the trip). As someone who travels extensively I would highly recommend this property - be sure to ask for a tour of the property - if you are a car and motorcycle aficionado you will be very pleasantly surprised.

29/09/2025: We recently booked Hotel Hvide Kilt for a team meeting, and I can say without hesitation that it exceeded my every expectation. Located in a beautifully remote location beside an impressive links golf course, the hotel offered the perfect blend of outdoor activity and natural beauty — ideal for both work and relaxation. The clear weather during our stay made the experience even more special. Just a short 10-minute drive brought us to the west coast of the peninsula, was perfect for taking a break. The landscape is unique, unlike anywhere else I have been. A particularly memorable aspect was seeing the historic German WWII bunkers along the shore. Saturday evening was truly the highlight. We gathered in the hotel’s restaurant for a team dinner and were treated to an exceptional three-course meal, with amazing flavors and a nice selection of wines. The quality and creativity impressed the whole team - even the foody on the team. Afterward, I stepped outside for some are and was stunned by the visibility of the night sky. With no city lights to interfere, the stars felt closer than ever. Hotel Hvide Kilt offers both comfort and opportunieis for fun in equal measure. For a group or just exploring Denmark's natural and historical beauty, this place is highly recommended.

23/11/2025: A fantastic shooting star for a late lunch. Good ingredients and pan-fried fish fillet. And a delicious glass of white wine to go with it. A wonderful experience can definitely be recommended.

26/09/2025: I think it was a very negative atmosphere on the part of the waiters and when you had to choose food from the menu they came back relatively quickly so you didn't have time to choose anything.

17/01/2026: A little disagreed with the new owner about whether it was raw beef, it was certainly not hot in the middle Internal respect to be gained The only thing that was said was (just eat it, it won't hurt) also a 30 kr discount would mean that at least you will get finished meat when you pay 120 kr for a burger The tables are tilting and there is masking tape on the lamps, a place that is not finished and hospitable, we will not go there again

30/12/2025: One star is too much. Outrageous! I've never eaten such bad pizza and fries in my life... and I'm 46 years old, so I've eaten a lot of pizza... Absolutely disgusting.

30/12/2025: I ordered 2 pizzas and 1... the pizza tasted absolutely nothing and the fries didn't have a gram of salt on them, so it was money down the drain...

03/08/2025: Very good drinks. Reasonable prices. Nice staff. You can sit both inside and outside. Well worth a visit!

30/07/2025: Best cappuccino in town!! Good drinks and very professional staff. They also have backgammon to borrow. Highly recommend a visit!

27/09/2025: We had a bad experience. Ordered a fried chicken BBQ burger and what we were served was raw. I commented on it and was told that's how they are. Ended up paying 150 kr and threw it all out except for the fries. Last time we eat there..

19/09/2025: A very authentic snack bar, with rustic tables and chairs. But it's cozy and hyggelig. The fish and chips were excellent. Exactly what you'd expect. The staff is very friendly, and the fried fish was really good. We felt at home.

23/11/2025: Lovely evening at NerD. We had their Christmas lunch with 8 courses and four glasses of wine. Everything was first class. Good atmosphere, sweet and skilled service, tasty wine and incredibly good and exciting food. We would love to come back.

31/10/2025: First of all, we sat and froze! Ordered 3 courses. Sat and waited an hour for the starter, without any snacks or bread. The Frederikshavn toast tasted like the tasteless virgin lobster bisque, just thickened. Waited half an hour more for the next course, the fish was full of bones (which the waitress did make us aware of in advance….-but that didn't make the experience any better!!! They had run out of one dessert and the other - the panna cotta had a nasty sour taste. The waitress apologized for the wait after we complained and said that the chefs had a big business elsewhere in town. We should have at least been given AN extra glass of wine for the long wait!
