23/03/2025: Fantastic hotel with delicious service and breakfast on the top floor with a lovely view.. The only minus I can think of is that the noise from the harbor makes you not expect to sleep long if you want the side with a view

03/02/2025: Points deducted for the food and service! It's better to make the restaurant self-service, then fewer guests will be upset - and put the money into someone who can cook properly. The one star is for the beer, which was good when it finally(!!!) arrived on the table - and for the view. Summary: The restaurant is not worth the money - it's better to get something from the store and have a little picnic with a view of the harbor. ...I would even prefer that to visiting here again at night or in drizzle.

17/01/2025: Om det er skaldyr, fisk eller en god bøf er det vel tilberedt og serveret. Og man skal huske at tillade sig at slutte af med en dessert. Skaldyr og champagne skal bare prøves.

27/02/2025: My friend and I had two such "frederikshavner calendar" doors. Where we could get two soups of the day. We had reserved a table and there was a cute handwritten note with "welcome, name" The soup tasted good. But it was very badly received that we should not have anything to drink with the meal. 2/3 times they asked. The first time, we said no thanks and I said that maybe I should have the soup, but I hadn't decided that yet. The lady who served us gave some attitude. But then left. In the middle of the meal she came again and asked if we still didn't have anything to drink, when we said no, she walked away clearly annoyed. The third time, when the table was cleared, a male employee asked if we should have more. And we said no for the third time. It was the first time my friend and I were in there and the last time. We were looking forward to it, and wanted to see if it was something we should do in the future, but we won't, with such a bad attitude from the staff. I had considered leaving a tip for the service, but there was no way I wanted to after the atmosphere! If you are expected to buy drinks for the meal - then they must write it on the calendar pages OR refrain from participating. Practice experience

20/10/2024: Ku good need some background music staff always good I usually get good food but was very disappointed that there was almost no dressing on it and there wasn't much filling on it and then I got a bad stomach at the end

21/11/2024: Nice Thai food, you are able to request for normal Thai spicy level or reduced spicy level. Tried the fried rice, noodle and Tom Yam soup which is really nice if you missed asian food.

01/11/2024: Jeg fandt noget der lignede mug i mine nachos - henvendte mig så, da jeg fandt skæghår i den smeltede ost. Jeg efterspørger en ny portion med frisk ost, hvilket jeg får. Her finder jeg til min overraskelse et endnu større stykke mug. Jeg henvender mig igen, hvor den ene medarbejder sukker dybt af mig. Jeg får ikke mere at vide. Da der skal afregnes vil jeg ikke betale for mine nachos, og får så lidt bestemt at vide, at de er fjernet fra regningen. Havde været en meget bedre oplevelse, hvis de havde informeret om, at de var kede af fejlen, og at jeg selvfølgelig ikke skulle betale for den dårlige mad.

09/10/2024: Visited the place slightly out of season. Solid portions, decent price. The food arrived quickly, in less than 10 minutes. Good service: unfortunately they didn't have children's pizza, so the little girl got a hearty portion of fries for free! Good steak and hamburger for adults. Slightly hard-fried beef, but otherwise quite ok

03/02/2025: We ordered a la carte and were absolutely satisfied. Fast and friendly service, clean table, quick drinks, decent sized portions. It's all ok. It's a relatively large restaurant, so it can get a bit noisy when it gets busy. I can't say anything about the buffet because I don't like mass production and crowds for food anyway. A small suggestion for improvement: If someone orders a meal from the menu that is marked as spicy, please offer the option that it can be prepared with “real, authentic” spice! That would be great. 🔥🚒🐲🍽️🍜😉😁💙

27/02/2025: Were there on the afternoon of February 27, 2025 with 4 adults and ordered pizza. We were the only guests and were served quickly and friendly. The waiters spoke English and were able to communicate well with him. Food came quickly and was good. Nothing special but good, solid food. We would definitely come back again

03/01/2025: The room was quite nice, but when the main attraction is an indoor water park which is completely closed down due to Renovation so it just doesn't work because the price is so high. DKK 1550 for a double room with single beds... The breakfast buffet was really nice.

03/11/2024: Our experience of six different dishes, which each left an impression in their own way: Appetizer: Risotto Tasty but undercooked and blistered, almost liquid consistency and a boring dish on a plate with a high rim. The rice was cooked just to the bottom and the thin sauce consistency did not make a good impression Appetizer: The dish was presented as Vitello tonnato. Instead, a tartar came, albeit with a light dressing (possibly inspired by Vitello Tonnato) Even if you close your eyes and play with a deconstruction and use all your creativity, it was difficult to get the name, and ingredients, to connect with Vitello Tonnato Main course: Fish of the day with tagliatelle Simple preparation with noodle-like "tagliatelle". Bordering on oversalted in some bits Braised rabbit: Quite outstanding and very tender and fine meat. Lovely parmesan sauce and garnish Dessert: Lemon cake with foam Slightly dry cake, excellent foam and an anonymous ice cream, or something similar Popsicle a la Stracciatella Tasteless, old-fashioned, ice cream. Characteristic cream sensation in the mouth and tasteless. We experienced it as, very slightly, a la Stracciatella. Excellent service, decor and atmosphere were also nice.
