03/09/2025: If you enjoy sitting by the harbor and appreciate authentic Danish fish dishes, this is the place for you. Self-service (very efficiently organized), very friendly staff with excellent English skills. The price-performance ratio is decent by Danish standards: 400 kroner for two people.

02/09/2025: It was OK, but nothing more. We've had better fish restaurants in Denmark. I can't say whether the restaurants next door would have been any better.

17/04/2026: As a guest at Moby Dick throughout my youth, the food was always fantastic, I can't say that more. Last night I was in company, where for the first time the table was set all together - except for two seats - there were two of us sitting at the back with a view of the backs of those we were supposed to be with. Bad start to the evening. The food, well disappointed is the right word. Had ordered shooting stars because in the "old" days it always consisted of fresh fish. It doesn't do that anymore, cardboard fish and bakeoff bread - for 200 kr you expect something completely different and fortunately you get that in many other places in Frederikshavn.

14/04/2026: On my second order the sushi rolls were quite big and with lots of rice.

24/04/2026: This is the first and last time we will eat from there. The crusts were burnt, the filling was sour and my son got sick from it. I wish I could give minus stars I would have.

28/08/2025: Smeared in mayo and bad rice. Salmon tastes old, and a far too salty meal. I doubt how fresh it was. Unfortunately ordered for a larger party and it was embarrassing to serve.

25/07/2025: Unfortunately, I have experienced the worst service ever, and it is not just a one-off incident – it is repeated every time I visit the place. Based on this, I will no longer prefer this place as my limit for acceptable treatment has been exceeded.

28/04/2025: A very dead place, staff who were not service-minded. Had no overview of orders in general. We waited for the food for 35 minutes, a sandwich that did not meet expectations, flat and bland and missing ingredients according to what was supposed to be in it from the menu.

11/07/2026: I got the tropical smoothie and I was disappointed. You could pretty much only taste a low quality (store) orange juice. Would be fine if the orange juice dominated if it would have been better quality (Tropicana style). Also the texture was a bit of a ice slush. Probably the other options would have been better as the place seemed to be rather popular (lot of people picked up take-away orders).

04/07/2026: Incredibly bad service. But ok pizza. However much less than expected.

04/07/2026: Bought a sausage mix for 80 kr. The portion was way too small for that price. Then they lost me as a customer because they wanted to save on the fries.

19/07/2026: We had Belgian waffles with ice cream and jam. The waffles were pre-baked and only reheated. That's exactly how they tasted – reheated and incredibly chewy. Fresh waffles are far superior. Therefore, I advise against ordering these waffles.

12/07/2026: Isbraren in Skagen. Hard not to stop by. There you can get everything the kids want....Ice cream in all varieties. Good yes, but dangerous...hehehe

22/07/2026: Super cozy place with friendly staff We ordered pizza Marco polo and pasta with salmon Super delicious base, perfect with filling Pasta was delicious and good taste
