05/03/2025: The rooms are totally practical, of course not pompous (they are also in prison), everything is clean, enough towels.
For people with limited walking ability it is a bit strenuous (stairs).
Breakfast is completely fine! Juice, bread, rolls, cold cuts, cheese, jam, scrambled eggs, Baron, sausages. Coffee, tea, water
It's just incredibly central and has something (we found it very nice 78 years, 75 years and 57 years)

Busqué un lugar para alojarme en Ribe y encontré Den Gamle Arrest, y viviendo libremente en una prisión que tuve que probar.
Den Gamle Arrest se encuentra justo al lado de la Iglesia, así que la ubicación es simplemente perfecta. Elegimos una habitación con aseo propio y malo, que funciona bien ya que ya no somos adolescentes.
Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero hay una habitación grande con sillas, café de mesa y una televisión donde se puede pasar el rato y hay todo lo necesario para los niños.
Den Gamle Arrest sirve un desayuno muy bueno, todo lo que necesita está allí.

30/11/2024: A restaurant who happily serves vegetarian and vegan options. Even not in the menu, you can request a specific vegetarian food of your choice. A very friendly restaurant owner.

Half cold food, gristle in all pieces of teriyaki chicken, endlessly slow cooking in mongolian barbecue, when it was finally served it was not the plate I had handed over, in no way worth the money, definitely not coming again.

08/12/2024: Surprisingly good Durum, the service was friendly and accommodating. After we had eaten, I discovered that a 10% "serving supplement" had been added. The real price should be stated on the item, then you can give a 10% discount on the orders that are picked up.
When serving is a product you buy, then there is not much service to give stars for.
28/11/2024: Ok service, lovely smiling staff and welcoming. However, the salad on the pizza was a bit bland and 2 slices of tomatoes are perhaps on the low end for DKK 15.

07/12/2024: We are a new "bunch" who have taken over the place on 1/9 2024.
And as I can see from the reviews that have been before, that is not what we stand for today... today the steak is again made directly on steak racks together with everything else that we have chosen and go ALL-IN with fresh raw material and do not compromise. No matter what you order...
And we are very keen on people being able to call "365" every day between 7am and 8pm and order smørrebrød-tapas-plates or the like. And we also deliver. So finally call and ask about the options if you are missing something.

01/09/2024: Ordered via an app where the restaurant has to view it and accept it. Delivery time was suspected to be between 6:50-7:10pm. Nothing. Hours later when the order status changed from "Being delivered" to "delivered" I decided to call them. I didn't get more than 3 words in, mentioned the order from the app before I was interrupted with "We didn't get an order" and then they just Hung Up. I will Never order from here again.
