07/09/2024: Nice buffet, the food was good and the staff did a good job, it was just over the top warm in the room even though the windows were open at the top, but with 25 degrees outside you really need a cooling system

17/11/2024: Think this is the first time ever that we have had a bad experience at the Ship-Inn. The main course was delicious and came relatively quickly. Waited about 30 minutes for dessert. The very sweet waiter brought a baked apple cake with caramel and ice cream, and with an apology about the delay, that the dessert had to be in the oven for 15 minutes. The cake was cold inside, and tasted very smoky. We complained about the dessert, and the waiter apologized and offered another dessert at the house's expense. Subsequently, there was a very loud and clear comment from both the kitchen and the waiters. Then waited about 15-20 minutes for a tiramisu, but without charge. Since Hjerting Badehotel would like to appear as a place of high class, it unfortunately did not suit an otherwise lovely place.

18/01/2025: what a pity, the food was delicious, but today 17/1/2025 I am very disappointed with the service, today we had a very happy wedding day, after the wedding we went to the restaurant to have dinner, maybe the waiter was not really careful with us, we were the first two guests of the restaurant, we ordered the best dishes for me and my wife, I told and pointed to the menu for the waiter, he understood everything I ordered, but unfortunately the food did not meet my expectations, the food came out wrong and we waited for more than an hour and did not see our food, my wife decided not to continue and wanted to pay, while paying I asked the waiter and he said it was his mistake, but during that 1 hour wait we did not have any attention, I am very disappointed with this service.

19/10/2024: Hej Jeg har spist på denne restaurant over 40 gange og det har altid været god mad, vin og lækre drinks. Men fredag d.18/10 var jeg inde og spise. Det var en hyggelig aften og maden var fantastisk. Jeg ville slutte aftenen af med en god drink. Men den var så stærk at den ikke kunne drikkes. Da vi skulle betale sagde vi det til dem der stod i baren, og de sagde bare at sådan skulle det være. Jeg vil bare sige jeg har ihvertfald fået op mod 30 drinks og jeg har aldrig fået en der ikke kunne drikkes. Er skuffet over deres svar og service Hilsen en der ellers altid har haft en god aften på cafe appetit

20/11/2024: Incredibly good service when ordering for delivery. Called i.a. back to ask if I wanted the pizzas sliced.

04/04/2025: Burger King...all dishes are available. Lots of space over two floors. There are enough parking spaces...the toilet wasn't very nice. But maybe that was just the case that day. The selection is huge and the order was processed very quickly. Would eat there again...

20/02/2025: I always go for the red rump 😉 it is a nice restaurant with lots of parking, the staff is smiling and helpful. it is a very good place to eat, i would say one of the best in that price range 🤔

18/01/2025: Nice, cosy little place. Staff is always smiling and super nice! Ordered the steak well done, it arrived and were as raw, didn't eat anything from the plate. They just grilled the same piece of meat to the point of being overcooked and served it. I will not be coming back anytime soon, that's for sure

15/03/2025: Place that wants to combine Korean and Japanese cuisine, but the experience was terrible. My girlfriend and I had the "all you can eat" menu with the plate, and we were very disappointed. First, we went half the dinner without soy sauce (believing it was paid for like the other sauces), only to find out from the staff that it was their mistake, and then it was delivered to us. I don't justify this oversight, as the place wasn't very full, and therefore the matter could have been managed much better. Secondly, a bad idea to combine the plate menu with fish sushi, in the room there is a very strong and heavy grill smell, which is nauseating after a while. And paying 339 DKK per person, I find it ridiculous given that there are few dishes to cook on the menu. Not to mention cooking burns any type of vegetable without cooking it effectively. Thirdly, the fish sushi menu is also poor, with little choice. Furthermore, the rice is overcooked, and the fish is anonymous.

15/02/2025: They call them ad libitum, but it takes approximately 45 minutes for 1 sushi order of 15 pieces to arrive at the table. So for 2 people you end up paying DKK 550 for 30 pieces of sushi. It is a scam to call it ad libitum when you can manage to eat sushi twice before the table has to be passed on.

06/01/2025: Delicious food with high quality. Sometimes a little long wait for the food - but that's probably because they are so popular ;-)

09/12/2024: Thai restaurant in Esbjerg​ city. Take-away type. Good taste of food. Standard price. Lots of customers. Should call to order first.

22/03/2025: I was looking forward to the city's best bakskuld, and it was just lovely, but the rye bread had gotten way too much heat, so the crust was hard. The plate was too small when you have to dissect two pieces of icing.
