30/09/2024: We sat outside and all I can say is that it is a great place to hang out, drink and eat. Everyone is very friendly, dogs are allowed in the outdoor area, water was brought for him straight away, great 👍😃 and the smørebrøt was also very tasty, I would happily recommend it

29/09/2024: We stayed in a crazy wonky room above the cafe. You can tell that it's 500 years old, but that makes even more fun! Nice people, and a solid breakfast spread came with our rooms. Super location!

17/03/2025: Come here if you are looking for a quality burger where everything is covered. Perfect burger buns, perfect dressings for the burger selection, and the steaks are on point, seasoned well, fried and smashed perfectly, and the ingredients are as they should be. There is nothing to complain about the food, and the price matches it. The staff are nice and friendly, and are always ready to explain about the food. However, the place is small and there is not much space, so you should preferably be able to take it home with you. It must be said that there are some places, but very few.

30/01/2025: Nice burger! Good taste and nice steak. The surroundings are less charming, it can be improved. Why insist on ordering via a dull screen when the restaurant was definitely not busy?

11/01/2025: We ordered 2 pizzas but were very disappointed as both were very underbaked. We drove back with them as it was not edible, but this was not received kindly. We were told that's how they should be and there was nothing wrong, even though they were clearly raw. We only got our money back because we pushed with the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration. Everyone can make mistakes, but the fact that you can't acknowledge it and fix it is not right 👎🏼 We were told we shouldn't come again, which we apparently didn't intend to do either (and we can't recommend that either someone else)

07/02/2025: Ciao, I'm from Italy and I came to Esbjerg for university. Usually an Italian would never go to "Italian places" outside of Italy, but I heard that this place was managed by an Italian family and I went there to try. I'm not Neapolitan, but I can assure you that this pizza is better than the average pizza you can find in the north-east of Italy. I was pleasantly surprised: light pizza, good ingredients and right combinations. Wow! Sure maybe the prices are a bit higher than the competing pizzas in Esbjerg, but the quality is worth paying for

04/02/2025: order food over wolt, then don't get the pasta dish I ordered, the first time I think it's okay, but now it's happened several times, you call them to listen to them, where they say they can't do anything

23/12/2024: Fish n Chips tasted pretty good Sweet waiters... but unfortunately there were small children who cried & made too much noise...it ruined the evening

29/11/2024: Ved vores besøg bestilte vi et luksus stjerneskud ( til 249 kr) samt en vægter burger med pomfrit. Burgeren var ok. Dog uden meget smag og kraft. Stjerneskuddet var en fadæse. Med et firkanten toastbrød som bund, som hverken var smørristet eller ristet i det hele taget, men bare tør! Vi spurgte om det virkelig var surbagt brød, det sagde tjeneren ja til. Med på tallerknen, var ligelede en tynd fiskefilet på under 1 cm der smagte og lugtet for meget af fisk, en rulle kogt fisk, en håndfuld rejer, lidt røget laks samt for lidt dressing qua det tørre brød. Et glas hvidvin blev bestilt til dette, normalt er der er et glas vand til vinen, men dette skulle bestilles ved siden af🤌 Vægterkælderen er en cafe, hvor smag, kvalitet og hvad maden koster, ikke hænger sammen. Vil kraftig råde til at gå et andet sted, det kan kun blive bedre.

18/01/2025: Can not be recommended! Half cold food, gristle in all pieces of teriyaki chicken, endlessly slow cooking in mongolian barbecue, when it was finally served it was not the plate I had handed over, in no way worth the money, definitely not coming again.

15/12/2024: Visited this cafe May 24. They have very good fish and chips and a nice view by the sea. I would like to try the ice cream next time.
