05/11/2024: I can't understand the good reviews. We had a holiday home on Hejsager Strand at the beginning of October. In the holiday home there was a menu from the Hejsager Strandgrill: 17 dishes and drinks, including beer (Øl). We walked to the grill on the beach for half an hour, then it started to rain. When we arrived at the Hejsager Strandgrill, it didn't look that great from the outside, but since it was raining, we went in anyway. First disappointment: of the 17 dishes on the menu, only a few were actually offered. We first wanted to drink a beer/oil, the owner replied energetically: “NO ALCOHOL”!? OK, if the owner, who is probably no longer the original Danish owner, does not want to sell beer for religious or personal reasons, this is acceptable. Not OK is when customers are lured with false information. The menu with 17 dishes and oil was still available in the snack bar. As I said, since it was still raining, we ordered coke and two grilled dishes. My fish and chips were French fries with hard-fried pieces of fried fish. My wife's half chicken was fried to a leathery consistency. The bad picture was completed by the discovery that when we arrived there were 6 fried sausages on the grill, when we left they were still there, obviously for sale. By the way, we weren't the only ones who were upset; a couple at the next table found the whole thing just as outrageous.

02/10/2024: Offer limited due to low season, but we got exactly what we wanted. :) Very friendly service! We'll be back!

29/10/2024: A cozy pub in the center of Haderslev, a bit hidden in a courtyard next to the market. There is only service at the bar. There is a separate room where you can play darts. There are also seats outside. On our first visit there was no hot water, so only cold drinks were available. Then this was resolved. The dogs were allowed in.

06/10/2024: If you order from them and they make something wrong that you didn't order, you can either choose to drive down yourself and pick up the correct dish you ordered or to get a voucher and eat something you can't eat. They do not give an excuse but rather accuse someone of lying. You should at least get something for them making a mistake and not believing you and not being able to figure something out. Totally without any kind of customer service.

05/07/2024: The staff had difficulty understanding what was said. They said 30 minutes and after 1 hour the food was ready for collection, no discounts or similar for the inconvenience. The pizzas were mediocre. Won't be ordering from here again.

30/10/2024: A truly beautiful gem, authentic. Brown booths and a menu from when it opened. Burgers that can do anything.

16/06/2024: Generally a nice place, but today 16.06.2024 it was laughable. You come in around 02:00 at night. Asking for a burger. Being told there is approximately a 20 minute wait due to the oven. Fair enough. Asking for two French ones instead. Being told there is approximately a 10 minute wait. Again, fair enough. Says I don't want anything. 1-2 minutes later my friend walks in. Order two French hotdogs. No problem. He can have that. I go in and complain, and get a French hot dog. Asks for French dressing and curry ketchup. The clerk doesn't want to hear about it. I therefore only get French dressing. I have to admit that I am disappointed with the service, and I hope that this kind of service will be taken care of.
