03/06/2026: HOS in Odense gets my clear recommendation. We called on the day and were able to get a table outside a little over an hour after we called. The table was ready when we arrived and we were warmly welcomed by one of the waiters. We were 6 guests that day. 4 of us ordered starfish, one of which ordered gluten-free. The starfish were beautifully presented and extremely tasty. The dish included cod roe, which was a delicious interpretation of the classic starfish. The last two ordered open sandwiches, which were also extremely tasty. If we go to Odense again, there is no doubt where to enjoy lunch.

15/06/2026: Got a pepperoni pizza. Honestly wasn't impressed. The pizza was swimming in grease, so I was left with a clammy feeling after 3 slices. The crust can't be called crust on this pizza, as there is nothing crusty about it. It's just soft and indifferent. It's just a below average pizza.

29/03/2026: Don't be fooled by the place's somewhat boring appearance from the outside. Really delicious pizzas! They are a bit expensive but they are definitely worth it. The right amount of filling, super good taste and ingredients that you have no doubt about the quality of. No matter if you order 1 or 10 pizzas. And on top of that, the staff and especially the owner are incredibly nice and accommodating

13/05/2026: Absolutely fantastic tasty food, friendly waiters with a good mood. Everything was so nice, however I only give the atmosphere 4 stars because the acoustics were very bad, there was a lot of noise from other guests which unfortunately made our experience a little worse than expected. But we will definitely come again, but probably on a weekday evening instead 😊

30/06/2026: After some consideration, I ordered a three-course menu: a starter with ham, a main course with plaice with some bacon in a strange dressing, peas, pea pods and small, boiled potatoes. For dessert, a lovely Mazarin pie with fresh strawberries. I drank lovely draft beer and cold water with the food. Price 479 DKK. However, the service was quick and friendly.

07/05/2026: Definitely Odense's friendliest cinema with a wide selection of niche films. But I can't recommend the food I got. Ordered lentil salad, with salmon as an extra, and an avocado dish. Received a salad so mustardy that I imagine someone dropped something in the dish. It was inedible. Left half-eaten salad and left the cafe with tears in my eyes (a little bit because of the wasted money, but mostly because it was so insanely mustardy). The avocado dish got the grade: Pass.

03/05/2026: Café Biografen in Odense is a really cozy place with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. I am from Aarhus myself, but every time I am in Odense, I make sure to stop by – it is a perfect place to find peace. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. You can choose to sit inside in the cozy surroundings or outside, where you can enjoy the sun or take a break. Their fresh lemonade is especially worth highlighting – it tastes really good and fits the atmosphere of the place perfectly. All in all, it is a place where you feel welcome and always want to return.😊

20/02/2026: We had a really lovely evening at [Café Name] yesterday. The atmosphere was super cozy – soft lighting, comfortable chairs and that real Danish café vibe. The waiters were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I had the roast pork with parsley sauce and potatoes – it was perfectly cooked, crispy and juicy, and the sauce was just like mom used to make it (high praise!). My wife had the grilled salmon with seasonal vegetables, and she said it was the best she had eaten in months. The portions were nice, the prices were reasonable, and the wine we were recommended was a perfect match. We left feeling full and happy – we will definitely be back! 5 out of 5 stars 🌟

09/03/2026: Restaurant Vår A gastronomic experience of a very high standard. The expression and taste of the dishes are right up to Michelin level, and the wines are both interesting and well chosen. The calm and pleasant service completes the experience in the finest way. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

24/06/2026: Yesterday we were at a Sct. Hans event, fixed menu and fixed meeting time. We arrive on time and are shown our seats. And a half hour later we are asked what we would like to drink!! No wine list, people around us had started to get food.. then it goes a bit quickly and we get our wine and are asked if we were ready for a starter. .. uhh yes also to that extent … then almost 20 minutes pass. Then 1 white very crispy asparagus arrives with 10 small prawns (they said they were hand-peeled) with hollandaise, it was immediately thin, a mega strong in flavour bun, almost drowned out the asparagus and prawns. Well then we waited again, gave up keeping an eye on the time. Then a small glass bowl with new potatoes was put on the table … and then we waited again. 10 minutes later the meat dish came, I think there was maybe 80 grams of meat (maybe less) a little greens and sauce. It tasted great but there was too little. I'm not the type to eat large amounts of meat but that portion can be considered a taste test and not much else. Someone came and asked if we wanted more sauce and it was just before I asked "for what"? . We had also ordered dessert strawberries w/creme anglaise .. 7/8 strawberries with so little cream that you couldn't even get it on the spoon. 299.- for 2 dishes plus 69.- for dessert. Long waiting times and seemed very disorganized. We went home and had a cheese sandwich.

20/06/2026: Fantastic experience, was at a wedding. I have rarely experienced such good service, friendly staff and good food 🍽🍽🍽🥳🥳
