27/06/2025: Super delicious hand-made sandwiches. The only downside was that the rye bread was a bit dry. Based on the questions below, it sounds like a restaurant you review. Christians Madhus sells sandwiches, sandwiches, daily specials, etc. It is not a restaurant where you can eat.

19/07/2026: There was a shortage of size 43 shoes for bowling and you can't order from the table before the game starts and why can't you just start on a lane when it's unused.

31/05/2026: Took 2 hours to deliver a pizza. When you call and ask, there is absolutely no service or apology for the long delivery time. I will never order from here again

21/05/2026: Went with former DFDS colleagues today for a lovely dinner with fantastic food. Stop by for some well-prepared homemade food, no pouring anything out of containers. Nice staff and no stress even though the place was full 😋😋😋😋😋

31/03/2026: Really nice baby shower, good food. The only thing was the older waiter who was really grumpy and not customer friendly. She complained about the children to the other guests, not very professional.

06/06/2026: We stopped by Trier's Corner because they had caipirinha on the drinks menu. Their caipirinha is the real deal; they made it with the typical Brazilian liquor called Cachaça 51.

14/03/2026: It is a sad, "Trumpified" trend that is spreading in our society. Trust has always been one of many Danish virtues, but if you choose to pay cash at McDonalds, all trust is gone. The order is only processed when the money is in the till. I perceive that as distrust, as if I would automatically run away from the bill. I have never experienced having to pay for my food before I ate at a Danish restaurant. And McDonalds likes to call itself a Family Restaurant, but unfortunately I cannot agree with that predicate. 28/03/2026: Candidate for Denmark's best pub. Cheap prices, cozy atmosphere and karaoke on Thursdays. Has a few special shots, try the apple cake model for example. The courtyard is lovely in the summer, we bridge players can easily fill it on a good day. Brown pub, which means you can smoke indoors, which can easily be smelled when you get home.

28/01/2026: Lovely place, perhaps Svendborg's brownest pub. You have no doubt where you were the day before. You can smell it.

12/07/2026: Ordered 2 bowls, both were missing large parts of the ingredients listed on the menu but were not informed when ordering. We go back and express our surprise that there is a lack of kale and asparagus etc. They justify it by giving extra kidney beans. So we got a bowl of beans, some rice and fish. And then for 130kr

28/09/2025: It simply has to be the most delicious cardamom bun I've ever tasted. The coarse balls also tasted really nice. It was on the expensive side, but worth every penny. Yum😍

24/05/2026: Cozy diner in Svendborg, opened at 12 so perfect for dinner, many good things to choose from, highly recommended 😁 delicious big burger with option of fried egg.. 🤤

05/05/2026: Excellent, small "satellite hotel" which is linked to Hotel Svendborg up by the "Gylletanken" in the center. The hotel is unmanned, but if you have any questions about check-in, breakfast, etc. you can call Hotel Svendborg or alternatively visit them on foot or by car, it is not very far away and on the route you will see many of Svendborg's "sights"!
