27/08/2025: I ate at MEAT in Aalborg yesterday, and the experience was unfortunately mixed. Food: The starter was truly fantastic – tasty and well-prepared. On the other hand, my main course, a bone-in ribeye, was a disappointment. The meat was tough and had an overly dominant fatty edge, which brought down the overall impression a lot. The accompanying sides were lovely, however. Service: The service did not live up to the price. I had to pour both wine and water myself, and the staff seemed largely absent throughout the dinner. When you pay around 2,000 DKK for a dinner, you expect a much higher level of service. Overall assessment: MEAT delivered a good start with a lovely starter and side dish, but completely failed in both the main course and the service. For the price, the experience was not worth the money at all.

26/10/2025: Fantastic cozy place in central Helsingör. They had a salad buffet that I have never seen before with everything you can imagine including dolma. We had ribs of course and they were among the best I have eaten in many years. Definitely recommended.

18/10/2025: Was invited to eat here on a normal weekday. Chose from the menu spare ribs accompanied by a baked potato. After a short wait, received a nice portion that I was just able to eat. Absolutely delicious and tasty. Prepared according to the rules of the art. Have known this chain and visited it regularly over the years. The menu is clear and does not pretend to be more than it is. Just simple and good. This time did not reach either the dessert or the salad buffet. It is also good. Can definitely be recommended as a good dining house.

26/09/2025: We came in through the door, a female clerk was standing with the phone in her hand (unprofessional when she wasn't paying attention to customers either). It took at least 3-4 minutes before she noticed us. We ordered a double ground beef and a steak burger. It can't be right that the ground beef burger was juicier than the steak burger. It was very well done. I approach the clerk and explain to her that the steak is tough to chew, she replies: "that's how we usually make it and most people like it". She then believes that it is the customer's responsibility to tell her how the steak should be cooked.. I got a new burger with everything served after a long, tiring conversation. We won't be back. Nurs was better 3 years ago.

05/10/2025: Ordered pepper steak. The steak was well cooked and tender. Maybe a little lacking in flavor. Got baked potatoes, they weren't too big. Got an extra for 20 kr on top. Traditional salad bar, so there's room for improvement. Service was very young and inexperienced staff, who had no idea whether their wines were dry or sweet. The wine was served too late for both the starter and the main course. The break between the soup that came with the menu, and the main course was too short. So that's why they weren't ready with the wine. For dessert I ordered port wine, but got red wine instead. Then I asked the waitress, who after some time returned that the wine was the right one, just served in a red wine glass They were nice and accommodating enough. But lacked knowledge and overview. I don't think I'll come back. There wasn't much atmosphere in the room. It seemed more like a factory than an experience.

04/10/2025: There were 2 of us for the brunch buffet and we were quite disappointed. Too bad because we had been there before a couple of years ago where it was fine but this time it was a sad pleasure. Skin on the dressings, mustard and remoulade looked as if it had been sitting there since the day before. Rye bread was not refilled the entire time we were there. There was 1 slice when we arrived and when it was taken away there was no more. A roulade with salmon rolled in a spinach pancake that was dry and stiff as cardboard. An apple cake that floated in water. Plates that ran out and were not refilled until we pointed it out to 2 employees (the first one just disappeared into the kitchen) There is a large selection but the impression was that they should tighten up a lot. Better a little fewer choices where things are in order.

12/10/2025: The food is like a buffet now. They are good at floating up. There were many guests, which of course causes a lot of noise and queues.

10/10/2025: Pros: all you can eat buffet, great selection, excellent service (depending on the day), all the meats! Cons: alittle pricey but worth it, depending on the grill master the meat will be perfect or cold use a warm up. Some foods even if they just open don’t necessarily have a super fresh taste. Overall, great place, good selection. Would recommend

22/09/2025: We had a disappointing experience. I had invited 3 guests for dinner and it turned into an embarrassingly poor experience. 1 hour wait for the food, one of the steaks was undercooked….this is honestly not the place you should choose. My guests were nice and accommodating…..but no, it was simply not okay for the restaurant to provide such a poor experience….and the waiters tried to apologize by offering us a drink!!

05/11/2025: This place was one of the few opened for late lunch. Food was nice and portions were big. Nice staff too!

30/08/2025: We would like to thank to the chef for an absolutely unforgettable gourmet experience and especially to the staff for their warm and friendly service. Already with the appetizer, we knew it was going to be amazing – and it truly was! We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kolding, and we will definitely come back next time we are in town.

02/11/2025: Nov 2025. Dinner Saturday night. Reason for 4 stars is that you stink of deep-fried food when you go home - it makes the place seem on par with a cheap place. The decor doesn't quite match the delicious meat you get. The specialty is steak on lava stone that you grill yourself. Nice way to eat. We got Sasha meat - it was really tender, delicious and tasty. Good fries, potatoes and sauce. They have other dishes. Nice serving staff. Nice big place but still OK acoustics. Fast service. I would have focused much more on meat and lava stone, top quality potatoes/fries, tomatoes for the stone, nicer decor and no stink of deep-fried food. The quality of the meat and the coziness of grilling yourself can well carry a different 'class' on all parameters.

29/09/2025: Fantastic and super cozy place, with a warm and nice atmosphere. The service is top notch - ALWAYS sweet and smiling staff. Definitely worth a visit.
