28/12/2025: I ordered a user. The steak was completely red, and not transparent at all. The food took an extremely long time to arrive, for all that waiting to get a red steak🤷🏼‍♀️🥩

20/01/2026: A beautifully priced restaurant with a view of Skive Fjord. Steaks are high quality and the concept of side dishes for sharing works really well. Delicious ingredients and well prepared. Definitely worth a visit. Especially their weekly specials are really value for money!

29/12/2025: We had Sunday Roast with 3 servings of meat which was of very warming quality. Oh my! The side dishes were absolutely fine. Our waiter was incredibly unengaged, spoke so softly that she was a shadow of herself and almost impossible to get in touch with. After previous visits we had really looked forward to Sunday Roast with meat ad libitum, but oh my they couldn't live up to that.

21/12/2025: Food was a bit overrated, meat was ok but you can taste almost the same anywhere. Our meal was forgotten by the kitchen so we had to wait for almost 55 minutes for dinner after the starters. Nothing special about the atmosphere and the dinner.

28/01/2026: Rib House is a place we have returned to several times. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, and the food is always tasty and satisfying. The barbecue buffet surprises every time with variety and small new details, so it never feels the same. The selection is good, and there is a clear focus on quality. The desserts are also worth mentioning - even a simple ice cream is served invitingly and tastes really good. The price-quality ratio is really good, and the service contributes to a pleasant overall experience. An obvious place to eat if you want good food in an informal setting. We can highly recommend it.

25/01/2026: Disappointing… Both my boyfriend and I got a burger menu. Almost no fries, my chicken burger tasted of nothing. There was a limp arugula salad and the few pickled red onions in it were all the ends, sad experience, regretted eating there. We won't be going there again.

06/01/2026: Meat is expensive. We knew that. We expected service and food and drinks after that. That didn't happen. After a reasonable starter, the rest was a disappointment. The wine menu was crap and way too expensive and way too little wine. The main menu was disappointing and way too little and of poor quality. Service was too busy and we waited way too long to finally be able to pay to leave the place again. Sorry. Not again.

30/12/2025: Went for the first time to Meat in Aalborg. Beautiful experience with a lot of flavours. We went for the 7 dishes sharing menu, it was absolutely delicious to try out some new flavours together with a wine pairing. Staff were very friendly and good with their English explanations. The wine explanation was sometimes a touch confusing. Expensive restaurant. Overall good experience!

14/12/2025: This review is for Return downstairs. We had read about a "cozy atmosphere" downstairs, but the reality was a bit jarring—it felt more like a bunker. Compounding this, the room was very loud, primarily from groups having their meals before a night of partying. The advertised fine dining experience also fell short. The promised carefully chosen wine pairing for the three-course menu was simplified to a suggestion to just stick with one red wine, with the candid reason that the others were "boring." The initial experience definitely missed the mark on the high-quality, quiet night we had hoped for.

13/12/2025: We were 6 people, all our adult children and us - phenomenal, nothing less! We will come again!

09/11/2025: We had the set meal for 495kr which is a very reasonable price for the quality and amount of food. The atmosphere was good and surprisingly even though the restaurant was fully booked it was not that noisy and you didn’t have to raise your voice to have a conversation. As the restaurant was so busy the service was not the best it tools quite a long time to get each course and the waiter was rushing back and forth. You had to get a hold of them to order more drinks. Other than that it was a great experience and we will be back again!

02/11/2025: Nov 2025. Dinner Saturday night. Reason for 4 stars is that you stink of deep-fried food when you go home - it makes the place seem on par with a cheap place. The decor doesn't quite match the delicious meat you get. The specialty is steak on lava stone that you grill yourself. Nice way to eat. We got Sasha meat - it was really tender, delicious and tasty. Good fries, potatoes and sauce. They have other dishes. Nice serving staff. Nice big place but still OK acoustics. Fast service. I would have focused much more on meat and lava stone, top quality potatoes/fries, tomatoes for the stone, nicer decor and no stink of deep-fried food. The quality of the meat and the coziness of grilling yourself can well carry a different 'class' on all parameters.

24/11/2025: The restaurant is just small place with a decent/romantic atmosphere. Service was very kind, our food was served in about 20min since we placed our order. Steaks tasted great. Pepper sauce was tasty but for our standard it was too mild (not enough pepper). But on the other side - chimichurri was great! Free starter was a nice surprise :).

17/11/2025: Great place, great meat with a unique good taste. Good wines, great service! Small and cozy place, on the slightly higher price end, but you leave with "it was worth it"

29/11/2025: My 82 year old mother and I are on a Christmas trip to Ribe and tonight's experience was really just really good. It was an incredibly cozy evening with really delicious food and very attentive and friendly service. Really good drinks, both wine and beer, and Italian dishes with great taste and ingredients. We are looking forward to having our dinner here the next two evenings ☃️🎄😁

27/11/2025: The food was amazing and they were super friendly, even though I ordered enough food for 30 within 3 hours. The premises have sound-control panels which make the acoustics good despite the high number of people. It's really nice.

13/02/2026: The meat was dry. There were too few staff so we had a bad experience with bad food and slow service

03/02/2026: Nice upper level seating. Service was great! Ordered the ribs, which were pleasantly seasoned. These are not 'fall off the bone' ribs, so expect to chew them a bit. The salad bar was well stocked and fresh.
