11/12/2025: My most recent visit to MASH was a mixed experience. I ordered a burger, which was okay, but not quite on par with what I've had in the same place before. It wasn't bad or disappointing, but I remembered it as better than it turned out to be this time. On the other hand, MASH's cocktails really impressed - especially their Risalamande cocktail, which I simply HAVE to learn how to make myself. Their cocktails were well-mixed, of high quality and clearly a highlight of the visit. This is definitely an area where MASH still delivers strongly. The service was overall good and welcoming. The staff were helpful and present when we needed something, although there wasn't quite the same personal attention that you can sometimes experience. All in all, the service worked well and contributed to a pleasant evening. As always, the prices are on the high end, which is to be expected for MASH, but it also means that as a guest you have slightly higher expectations for both food and service. All in all, an excellent visit with really good cocktails, a burger that could have been better, and service that is at an acceptable level – but for the prices, one could wish for a more complete overall experience.

03/12/2025: We have stopped by here because it was raining, I really needed to use a restroom, and our 2,5 year old have fallen asleep, so we wanted to take advantage of the little free time we got, and have a nice dinner. And what a dinner it was! I have decided to go for the burger with duck, and I dare to say, it was the BEST non-beef burger option I have ever had! My wife choose the smashed burger, and it was really amazing too! We have shared the fries with some truffle dip, and once again, it was fantastic! The service was very nice and fast as well, everything was fresh and the atmosphere of the place was super chill. Will definetly come back the next time we visit the city!

24/12/2025: We visited the restaurant based on the strong 4.3-star rating, but our dinner experience was deeply unsatisfactory. Upon arrival at 5:30 PM, the empty restaurant was our first concern. The issues began immediately with the complementary bread, which was strangely cold on the outside yet steaming inside, as if microwaved. A serious hygiene lapse occurred when a bug was found in one of our drinks. While the waiter promptly replaced. the starters (tomato soup and garlic bread) were good and tasty, the main course was a complete letdown. The ribeye steak, though cooked medium-well as requested, tasted charred and excessively salty. The vegetables were soggy and bland, and the fries were served cold as cooked hours ago. The overall atmosphere was unprofessional, with staff shouting loudly from the kitchen while preparing the food. Most distressingly, we later learned from neighboring diners that the recommended stake suce name "Champagne Sauce" contains alcohol. We believe the staff, who were unable to speak english, at least be aware we are Muslim, and should have identified this when serving it.

21/12/2025: The food is really good - but the prices are also quite high. However, I find the music annoying, which creates a high noise level.

29/05/2025: Super good experience, where we were looked after from start to finish. At dessert I discovered that the dessert chef had a watch similar to mine in black, so we swapped it with my blue one. Nice touch that gave a good atmosphere ☺️👌

03/09/2025: My plaice was alright, but the four potatoes on it were very meager. My parents' salmon fillet was bone dry, and my father didn't finish his. I don't know if it's normal here to have to order and pay at the counter. It's certainly not like that anywhere else.

22/02/2026: Called and ordered and arrived about 15 minutes later, even though the oven was completely empty they only started when I arrived. For the high prices, service should be top notch

13/03/2026: We were on a weekend girlfriends hygge trip in Odense and came across UBN. Nice relaxed atmosphere, we waited briefly at the bar with a glass of wine. We had a couple of good steaks. Everything was super good. Would love to come here again ❤️

05/02/2026: My boyfriend and I had a fantastic dining experience here. The food was delicious, we chose their selected three-course meal with wine. Service was good and the atmosphere was really pleasant. We had reserved a table. The details have been thought through, and we got a really nice table where you could sit a little privately even though you are out among others. The price is a bit on the expensive side, but you pay for quality - there are still offers for example 2 glasses of wine at a cheaper price, etc. Everything worked out and I look forward to visiting the place again soon!

28/03/2026: Delicious Ribeye, delicious sauce and potatoes but a little too few vegetables. Cozy atmosphere, nice waiter.

11/03/2026: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I was out to eat with my colleagues, and it was a pretty bad experience. There were 3-4 other parties present when we arrived, but it still took half an hour for the waiter to come and take our orders. She had a super bad attitude when she took our orders. My colleague told me what she wanted, and was very aggressively told that she should say the number of the dish, and not the name, it's too bad that a waiter can't take the name of a dish, especially because she didn't look like someone who was new in any way. Then we were told what drinks my colleague wanted, and then she said with a bad attitude that we should wait with the drinks. My other colleague then told me what he wanted, and also got the message that he wanted a fake wine, she then wrote it down, and then turned to the first one and asked what she wanted to drink, now that we had drinks anyway… We then got our drinks, which were practically thrown out on the table, and then waited again for almost half an hour for the main course. Some got tiger prawns, which were boringly prepared.. The butter for the bread we got on the side was rock hard, so they could have just thrown it out of the fridge a little before serving it.. We had to wait a long time again for the main course, where several people got steak, one of the steaks was well done. The potatoes were boring, their spare ribs were dry and tasted almost nothing, and when we asked for remoulade for the fries, she had to think about it, and didn't really seem happy that we asked.. We got dessert, and one of my colleagues found a piece of plastic in her ice cream, which she luckily got on the house... We then had to pay, and we each paid separately, she couldn't figure it out, she wrote down a camembert dessert instead of a gimbergen for one of us, and when everyone had paid, there was still a grimbergen to be paid for, we got that corrected, but there was also still a Tuborg classic, and everyone who had had one had paid, so she had put an extra beer on the table. All in all, it was a bad experience, bad service, she didn't say "welcome" or "thank you for tonight", and the food was not worth the price at all. Stay away!!

28/02/2026: Nice place. But I personally think the food was tasteless. The staff was okay, but not the best service you can get.

17/11/2025: We forget that Jensens Bøfhus is actually a fast food chain adapted to families with children. No, this was a sad affair. Sad steak, lousy service... too bad!

12/12/2025: 1 hour and 35 minutes wait for food poisoning. We came with two children aged 7 and 10. Ordered 4 steaks with sides. We waited 1 hour and 35 minutes for our food with a child hanging over the food and half asleep. The waiter was friendly and apologetic and although we got a discount on the bill, we went home feeling like we had thrown money out the window. Unfortunately we took a souvenir of food poisoning home with us. I have been visiting Hereford since I was a child, but this "new" Hereford is not worth the visit.

17/11/2025: We had dinner at this cozy place with really good service and a really perfectly cooked steak. The garnish was nothing special, but homemade and the dessert was also really nice

10/09/2025: There were two of us there for dinner, the only ones, so the rest of the restaurant was empty. We got our food at 5:00 PM sharp. There was no one else in the restaurant when we left at 5:50 PM.
