07/09/2025: Was there yesterday and it was great weather and lovely service and friendly staff - I come here every 10 years - see you again soon. Plaice and new potatoes

03/09/2025: My plaice was okay, but the four potatoes on top were very small. My parents' salmon fillet was extremely dry, and my father didn't eat his whole thing. I don't know if it's normal for service here that you have to order and pay at the counter. It's certainly not like that anywhere else.

01/10/2025: We were there this afternoon for coffee and cake and enjoyed the beautiful weather on the large terrace. The staff first brought water for our dogs, which I really appreciated. The service itself was incredibly friendly and in a good mood. There was always someone nearby without being intrusive. The food was delicious, and we also loved the atmosphere. We'd love to come back next time we visit Skagen.

08/09/2025: Friendly service, good service, including a water bowl for the dog. The food wasn't cheap, but the portions were relatively small, and very tasty. We highly recommend it!

29/05/2025: Super good experience, where we were looked after from start to finish. At dessert I discovered that the dessert chef had a watch similar to mine in black, so we swapped it with my blue one. Nice touch that gave a good atmosphere ☺️👌

I order Kentucky Chicken as take away 360 g 141kr yeah okay food is better for free but then you pack like that once… I mince words….. 2 dry chickens from some assorted supermarket and overturned salad and soft fries that I hadn’t had enough of and then served in a pizza tray for a UFO pizza I even checked your website first regarding the chicken and sure enough it says breaded chicken fillet…. Yes that’s good

27/09/2025: My girlfriend and I went down to eat On 20.09-25, it was a fantastic experience, lovely food, 100% ok, nice waiters and good service. We then chose to go there again today on 27.09-25 but now there is a new owner so now the good experience was suddenly different 8-( the menu card had changed completely and became more expensive than on 27.09-25 And the food was not very hot 8-( So we won't be going there again 8-(

16/08/2025: Wow! Todas mis experiencias anteriores de Gallos y Vacas han sido increíbles. Así que; 1 noche de calle en Copenhague después de un tiempo. Después de nuestra gran experiencia de Gallos y Vacas (Gammel Strand) durante nuestra última visita pensé en conseguir una hamburguesa... una comida para llevar, de SP 34 , la más cercana a mi hotel. Posiblemente la peor y más grasienta hamburguesa que he probado de cualquier parte. Lo siento chicos. La ensalada estaba distendida, grasienta y la hamburguesa estaba goteando grasa. Hasta el bollo estaba grasiento. Realmente parecía y sabía como si hubieran tomado una sobra de la noche anterior, luego lo frito todo. Pedí el combo de hamburguesas, con ketchup casero y una cerveza. Vino sin la cerveza, así que no solo la comida estaba terriblemente preparada, sino que el pedido estaba incompleto... ¿Qué pasó chicos? Absolutamente polar opuesto a mi última visita a su lugar en Gammel Strand. No es de extrañar que el lugar en SP 34 estaba vacío cuando fui a recoger mi hamburguesa.

24/07/2025: Burgers was delicious and beer on tap was good and a reasonable selection. Fair price for good quality. Very friendly staff, we really enjoyed everything. I'll be glad to recommend this place🙂

10/10/2025: In this restaurant, it's great to have traditional bread, steak, or ribs. However, the mussels were a complete misstep today compared to the meat – they were empty, and the sauce was tasteless. If nothing changes, I recommend removing them from the menu as they detract from the otherwise absolutely perfect dishes on offer.

09/10/2025: We ordered burger, pasta and chili con carne. Everyone really enjoyed the food! Nice place, but a bit noisy at times. Good service, but we could have had an extra jug of water - alternatively they could have been better at asking if we wanted more drinks.

12/10/2025: Went here for a steak dinner and the waiter helped us choose a Chilean wagyu. This was indeed an inspired choice as it had one of the best fat to meat ratios one could wish for.

30/09/2025: Good quality meat and sides. The only downside is the inexperienced and awkward staff (the night we were there). The price is high but reflects quite well in the quality of the food.

29/06/2025: Pedí una hamburguesa con papas fritas. Las papas fritas eran de rema 1000 y lo mismo que la salat en la hamburguesa. Toda la hamburguesa estaba fría.

15/08/2025: We are deeply disappointed with the room where we held a big event. Food and drinks were fine, but the room in the back was extremely hot. Radiator on full blast on a summer evening. The staff said, we know that…… Such bad style. Ugh ugh ugh. Total sour smiley.

18/03/2025: The surroundings are good, the atmosphere is nice and it is a nice place. But the food is boring. Considering the price of the experience, the buffet is far too narrow and monotonous. Not that it should be compared to traditional buffets - But at Bryggeriet, the buffet is just "boring". Conversely, the concept is good and good wines are served. But since it's the food you come for, it's an unfortunate experience. But why is it so narrow and monotonous? Yes, it is narrow because the selection of dishes. For example, potatoes and meat are served without any sauce. Two salads are served (A simple one consisting of heart salad, pomegranate and cranberry - Tastes fine, but is primarily just salad. No dressing is offered for this) in addition (A red scallion salad, which mostly tastes of cheese / heavy cream - Not very appetizing). In addition, the buffet primarily consists of crisp bread, pesto, onions, olives and other small items. The meat tastes good, but seems very similar. Here the duck was quite dry - the pig and the chicken tasted unremarkable. But at that price point and with the understanding you have of the concept, either beef, veal or lamb should also be served here. So all in all - So the framework is there. They just need to be filled in as expected. Ice cream and dessert were delicious - Some carved fruits (e.g. Melon) would be able to elevate the dessert even more. Will we come again? Hardly with the current buffet, given the price. But should the selection be improved / reassessed, we will gladly try it again.

18/09/2025: We were the whole family at Jensen's Steakhouse, and ordered a little bit different. In general, the food was excellent for the price, however, we ordered two Jensen's special steaks and they tasted completely different, one didn't taste particularly good, the other was fine. The burger was excellent. The fries have a strange spice mix on them that 50% of the table didn't like. The salad bar was quite nice. However, I will say that our visit was a bit ruined by the fact that they are infested with fruit flies in both the salad bar and at the table. I had to stop drinking my soda halfway through because there were fruit flies in it. The food itself is what you pay for, 1600kr for the whole family, and exactly the same at Bones costs about 2200kr. Unfortunately, we choose not to come again, but I can understand families pressed for money choosing Jensen's Steakhouse.

23/10/2025: I had ordered a plank steak with beef fillet and red wine sauce. The meat was wonderfully tender and the sauce had good flavor. The service was good, however it seemed a bit strange that they started turning off the lights on the wall at other tables when we were the last ones even though it was only 8:00 PM

10/10/2025: Culture night in Copenhagen - we had reserved a table and were shown a table when we arrived - but but but - now the waiting started. The staff was not there and we waited for a really long time before we were allowed to place our order. Then we waited again - after a long time we had to ask for our drinks to be served. We got a really nice Bulgarian red wine 😊 that was positive. After even more waiting, we were served our tapas - super delicious, but what a shame that the service was so extremely poor. The bar was in a mess with used dishes that they could not get in order in any way - all in all chaos and bad karma. We finished with a coffee that was so weak that it would never give you heart palpitations. Overall, a really bad experience, which is a shame - because the food and wine were good.

27/09/2025: Great little cozy place, right by Nyhavn. Tapas was fantastic, good ingredients and can definitely be recommended even though I would have liked the steak 😊 Parking as always a challenge in the City. Will definitely go there again, super polite and good service, thank you for that.😊

26/10/2025: Drove 20 minutes to get here and the door we have been told that there was no table available due the lack of staff , even know restaurant was empty
