10/09/2025: This restaurant is located next to the entrance to Tivoli Gardens. I wonder if they make beer there? There's a large tank inside. I had grilled pork. It was perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. It came with pepper sauce, but it was too salty, so I'd recommend not adding it.

19/08/2025: Great place. I was a bit unlucky with the meat, though. However, that may be because the piece is like that (serum). Perfectly cooked.

06/08/2025: We ate there and sat outside in the courtyard at the back. Everything is under umbrellas, so even though you're sitting outside, you don't get wet if it rains. We chose this restaurant because it's not easy to find a place to eat with a dog. The food was good, the waitress was very friendly, and we could communicate well with her in English. The prices are a bit higher, but the ambiance shows that this is a more upscale restaurant and that they want to stand out a bit in terms of food. It's not so easy to find something with children, but at least they have two children's menus on the menu. A big plus, though, is that the dog was allowed into the garden.

15/07/2025: Simply one of the best steaks I've ever had..... Clearly in the Top 3 of the best steaks I've ever had. Got a festival menu, Starter: hot smoked salmon. - 9/10 Main course: Steak with potatoes and bearnaise sauce 10/10 Dessert: 3 scoops of ice cream, with chocolate sauce on it. - 8/10 However, it's a bit of a letdown that they don't ask if you want potatoes or fries, when both are an option. Plus there's just enough sauce..

26/04/2025: In terms of taste, the 300 gram Rib-eye steak was really good, but 100 grams of the steak was pure fat. The fries were cold and hard, the béarnaise sauce was cold and bland. The salad was dry and looked like something that had been left for a long time. Unfortunately, a boring round at the high price.

06/08/2025: Super cozy, nice locals and nice young people at work. We even got a new burger for my daughter, as the steak was a bit more red than she could eat... (The toilets could do with a renovation, but otherwise okay)

03/08/2025: One of the better Jensen's steakhouses I've tried in recent years. The food is really good and a nice amount of everything and a good selection in the salad bar. We were there on a Wednesday for lunch and there was plenty of seating and you could see they weren't trying to seat people right next to each other. Nice toilet conditions. The only thing I think was missing was the atmosphere, but that's probably also because I remember years ago when the place looked different and they had some ceiling lights that made me think of the Titanic... The service was really good and friendly :-D

14/08/2025: Had the ribeye steak and fries with pepper sauce, which was okay but nothing special, I would say. We also had Dairy Queen dessert, aka waffles and ice cream, which was very nice. The staff was pleasant and friendly, but it was pretty quiet when we went and sat outside and a couple of times, waiting for the server.

21/07/2025: My steak was a bit tough and dry and my onion rings had been fried a bit too much.

26/07/2025: The restaurant has several eating areas and I was put in the window of a large room with no other customers so service was slow. The steak came in two sizes and I ordered the large size which looked the small size on the plate . The side was a hot dish of mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon which was very tasty and filling but very sloppy on the fork. The steak was well seasoned but a little overcooked for a rare steak but tasted ok.

26/07/2025: Terribly bad salad bar, old food! We don't want that. Recommend replacing the food there regularly so that it looks fresh for everyone who wants to help themselves! Service pleasant.

06/09/2025: We were 2 people who had a deal for 2 pork roast sandwiches and drinks. Was greeted - a little overwhelmingly - by a new employee. Hello you two, you two are welcome, you two are welcome - a little too much. The first 2 sandwiches - the meat was ice cold - I think it was warmed up from the freezer. Out again. 2 new ones, where it was not real slices of meat, crumbled - one had a slice - end slice - dry as sole leather and completely black pork skin. Can't recommend Jensens Bøfhus Holbæk at all. We have tried it before with pork tenderloin, which was a monthly offer earlier in the year. I think the only thing they can do is steaks.

23/08/2025: Jeg har spist rigtig mange gange på Jensens Bøfhus, dengang der var en sådan i Vejle. I tirsdags, den 19. august var jeg på Jensens Boefhus Aalborg (City Syd) og jeg var skuffet over maden. Som sådan var der ikke noget der ikke var i orden, men jeg bryder mig ikke om af fritter pludselig smager af andet end det de plejer at gøre, nemlig fritter med salt på. Nu fik jeg fritter der smagte af alt muligt andet. Det samme gælder sovsen. Jeg er vild med pebersauce, men den jeg fik serveret var ikke den pebersauce jeg igennem årene har fået serveret på Jensens bøfhus. Nu er den også lavet om til noget som jeg ikke ved hvad er. Hvorfor denne forandring?

11/05/2025: Min mand og jeg har flere gange være her - men denne gang var maden uspiselig!!!! Det startede som, det plejer - meget søde og imødekommende unge tjenere, der gjorde alt for, at vi havde det godt. Desværre gik det galt for maden - da den kom var den så salt, at det faktisk var uspiseligt. Vi bruger tit selv meget salt, så derfor tænker jeg, at det var godt, det var os, der fik det. Det var eftermiddag og vi var meget sultne - vi havde været på farten hele dagen. For engang skyld kom de ikke og spurgte om vi var tilfredse eller vi ville have mere - så havde vi sagt det. Men vi var sultne og tjenerne havde travlt. Da vi sagde det til den meget venlige og ordentlige unge mand, sagde han, at det var anden gang den dag, nogen havde klaget over for meget salt. Ærgerligt - det varer længe, inden vi kommer igen.

10/05/2025: Had to send the steak back twice as it was very red, it was ordered to be cooked through.

11/09/2025: The food quality is truly subpar. We ordered six oysters, which were the tiniest. The darkly fried cod was too dry, and the accompanying sauce was too thin. The service was inexperienced. All of this is in a beautiful location with a view of the bridge. Restaurant Mast has much room for improvement.

07/09/2025: Friendly service, but no overview. Bread for starters arrived after the main course! The slow-roasted veal brisket was one of the toughest pieces of meat we've ever been served. The accompanying butter-fried oyster mushrooms and corn were mistreated to such an extent that you couldn't taste the difference between corn and mushrooms. Lousy work in the kitchen. A shame for a place with good premises and a nice location.

20/08/2025: My husband and I visited this establishment. We chose a table outside because the weather was nice. The tablecloths were very dirty. We chose a special offer from the menu - steak with potatoes and house beer for 299 dkk, a couple of minutes later the waitress said that there was no such beer and offered Carlsberg or Tuborg, to which we agreed, because we were hungry and did not want to change establishments. When she brought the beer, she said that we would have to pay extra for the beer, since it was not on the menu, this simply threw us into a stupor. They brought us cheaper beer for which we would have to pay extra and also pay for the beer, which was not available. Naturally, we refused. The steaks, which she said - ribeye, were very thin. We ordered medium doneness, but my steak was very raw on one side. In addition, the steak was very salty, although it would have been nice to put salt and pepper on the table. So, a lunch for almost 100 euros left a very unpleasant impression. I do not recommend

16/08/2025: The last time we were here about thirteen years ago, we ordered "all you can eat" spare ribs. Back then, after reordering three times, we were asked to leave because they supposedly didn't have enough spare ribs in stock. This time, they offered "all you can eat" spare ribs again. Naturally, I ordered them again to find out if the service philosophy had changed. The first portion was brought promptly and again tasted very good. I then ordered a second portion, which still hadn't been served after forty-five minutes. When I asked where the "all you can eat" was, I was told they had forgotten about it and it would take another half hour. So, after thirteen years, nothing has changed; they're just taking a lot of money without offering much value, although I have to say, the food was really delicious.
