17/08/2026: Fantastic service, phenomenal food and the ambient is absolutely lovely. Worth the visit anytime!!!

15/08/2026: Cozy place by the water with the opportunity to relax or enjoy good company with friends or family. Possibility of different types of food in various stalls. And at events you must have booked a table. Super nice statue and the opportunity to walk to the long line or up towards Copenhagen

28/07/2026: Really good Italian food in a relaxed atmosphere. The pasta dishes were particularly good and the service was smiling.

03/08/2025: Friendly waiter welcomed us. 2 small “free” appetizers were served. Chicken souffle in delicious dressing, sashimi with sorbet. Haps haps! Then began a fantastic journey through a 7 course menu. Just the smell of each dish that was served was amazing. The appearance was a pure delight. The taste was so adapted that you could taste all the ingredients in the dish - the salt and pepper were not necessary. Great to know this art - to adapt to everyone's taste buds. Because it is an art! So 5 ⭐️ from us and clearly to you out there. Have a Bacchus and enjoy it, just enjoy it!

02/08/2025: Lovely evening in good company. The male waiter was however very busy changing our dishes a little too quickly. He was not present and not very hospitable. The young man who presented our dishes was to U.G Before we had even finished, the male waiter came with our bill, and we had to point out that we were not finished, and had not ordered payment. That service is not okay when you pay almost 3,000 kr for an evening. We were there on August 2, 2025 The food was absolutely fantastic.

19/02/2026: Plus for a central location, minus for size and it's usually crowded. Good for casual meeting with friends, not necessarily for a great ice skating experience.

19/02/2026: The ice skate rink is good and have a nice view but my experience was terrible. The person who was behind the counter was extremely rude with my wife and my daughter in two distinct ocasions but to speak with me, he became chilled and calm. I'm not sure if the guy was high on coke, hangover or if he is just rude like that with womans. After i tell him off, he disappeared and another man came to "replace" him and looked "very surprised" when I told him about what happened with his colleague.

23/06/2026: Absolutely fantastic ice cream. The chocolate fondant is highly recommended. The staff is extremely friendly.

05/06/2026: The chocolate ice cream with the chocolate waffle cone was really good. The inside of thecone is lined with chocolate all the way down. Yum!

19/04/2026: We dined here on a quiet Sunday evening and had a great meal. The team welcomed us warmly on arrival. Nice cosy atmosphere. The special of slow-cooked pork was delicious and the chilli was warming and tasty. The service was excellent and overall good value for the quality. Highly recommended.

27/07/2026: A really nice dinner. Unfortunately the service was not up to standard. Twice we had to ask to order drinks. Almost 40 minutes before we got drinks and 1 hour before we were served our seafood platter which was ordered several days in advance. The food tasted good. But really not okay to have to wait so long for both drinks and food.

22/07/2026: It is not recommended to spend money at this place.... Strange rules regarding sharing 1 beer. We paid 40 kr for a smaller carafe of water and 20 kr for extra water because we chose to share a beer. Strange punishment?. Long wait, potatoes fried beyond recognition. Not a good salad. They didn't have bread for starters, it had to be bought separately. They only had rye bread when we wanted to order bread for the shrimp starter. Unfortunately not a good experience for our cutter menu. Also strange that the staff didn't notice the smell from the toilet when the previous party apparently had bad luck with getting food returned on the floor. Too bad for the place as it is in a nice location.

14/08/2026: The definition of 0 stars. Long wait. Bad food. Lousy service. So go somewhere else.

18/07/2026: In terms of taste, this is the best kebab in Vejle. The portion should be larger for the price. Orders could be served a bit faster, but on the other hand, the staff prepares everything fresh.

08/08/2026: Nice lunch. For the first time we tried ordering at the table, we don't usually do that. But the waiters were very welcoming and smiling. They often came by and asked if everything was as it should be. And that was it, tasty and delicious.

27/05/2026: The food was good and the service was ok but it annoys me immensely that the staff only speaks English. When they get a job in Denmark the minimum requirement should be that they can speak Danish!

22/06/2026: No complaints about this local chain. Both the dishes we tried were delicious and felt fresh. Cozy spot to enjoy the meal and quick service. Will come back for a lunch or fast casual meal.

08/03/2026: We were four people - and had been looking forward to a good experience! It wasn't. There is no reasonable relationship between price and quality - not to mention quantity. ONLY visit Dauphine if you are NOT hungry. In particular, the main course was smaller than expected or a child's portion. with COLD small pieces of Jerusalem artichokes. The squash course tasted bad - to my taste. The dessert tasted good - but the lentil base was poor and probably bought in a supermarket. Dear Dauphine: I don't think you can be familiar with it. Not at all harmony between price, quantity and quality. Regretted we had driven almost 200 km - to visit you regards. peder kirkeby

21/02/2026: Had read the good reviews and chose Dauphine for our trip out to the Aarhus food scene in connection with Dining Week. Unfortunately, the evening was characterized by the need to rush through, and that the chosen menu should be easy to reheat and serve. The starter was not balanced - large temperature differences between the cold and the hot on the plate, the main ingredient, a "salmon terrine" of some kind, had not been out of the fridge long enough. The main course was unacceptably small, but otherwise tasty. The dessert was quite ok. But again, the feeling that it was just a matter of serving pre-cooked food prepared for the hordes permeated the experience. Unfortunately, the service was not good either. We were received by a man who was clearly not used to being in the restaurant (kitchen?), he barely said hello, did not point out a wardrobe in the somewhat narrow space, was not present and was in a hurry to move on, could not advise on a simple level regarding the choice of wine, "it was a white wine", no one ever asked if it tasted good or if it was satisfactory, no one came and asked if the drinks needed to be refilled, a woman suddenly came and cleared the table and reached over us without a single expression, no words, no one said what was going to happen next (pre-ordered 3-course menu). We approached the serious draft from the window facing the street, where we were sitting right up and down. The winter weather was really taking hold, but we asked nicely if it was possible to get another table, because it was raw cold for the legs to sit up against a leaky window at full height. It was swept away pretty quickly without making an impression. I don't usually write reviews, and am usually pretty generous as long as people make an effort and/or are nice and friendly, and the food is reasonable, but the whole experience just wasn't good and we couldn't finish fast enough. We won't be coming here again, although a regular a la carte evening is probably a different experience.
