19/03/2025: Hyggelit place. Super cosy. The whole place is lit by candles. If that's not one's jam, then may not be the right place.

16/03/2025: Cozy place on Østerbro. Prices are also on the higher end due to the location. The staff typically speak English.

06/04/2025: I got a caesar salad, which was basically just salad. It cost DKK 169. So I expected that I would at least be full. The service was also at rock bottom. The waiters were grumpy and hard.

11/02/2025: Really good food and cozy place. Adequate portions that are not too large. The brunch offer also works well as lunch.

12/10/2024: I also ordered the pizza vampira with pepperoni to take away. I got a pizza without pepperoni, but there was red, oily salami on it. Maybe a misunderstanding. But the whole thing was swimming in oil and didn't smell particularly appetizing. Unfortunately a failure.

14/02/2025: Awesome place to eat, its not just breakfast as we Americans think of it. I order asian conne(it filling thia food), my wife got porridge with blueberries. She and I were happy. The food is filling, but does not feel heavy. Highly recommend Grod!!! No regrets! 😀

19/02/2025: Vi bestilte begge to brunch hvor vi selv valgte 5 forskellige ting. Alt maden smagte kedeligt, og det var bestemt ikke pengene værd. Vi kunne ikke finde på at komme igen

25/01/2025: I have eaten here too many times to count! Their chicken congee is great if your are looking for something savoury, the acai bowl for something sweet and the custom porridge for something filling. Also I always top my porridge off with their hot ginger-lemon tea - so good!

07/01/2025: Finely coordinated dishes with lots of taste experiences. Large portions and very skilled and friendly staff - and then you can get your 'porridge' as take away. The smoothie in a bowl was nothing short of amazing

24/03/2025: They cooked the food for a party and the main course was terrible, the meat was tough and full of tendons - inedible, it was hard to cut and I felt like I was choking on the meat :) Otherwise the rest was really good :)

09/02/2025: Vi besøgte Restaurant Dauphine i forbindelse med Gastro Week, hvor restauranten tilbød en tre-retters menu til 299 kr. En prisvenlig menu, men desværre uden meget “gastro” over oplevelsen. Servicen var generelt venlig og imødekommende, men maden levede ikke op til forventningerne. Forrettens fisk var desværre overtilberedt, hvilket gjorde den tør og kedelig. Den tilhørende porresuppe var nærmest smagsløs og manglede tydeligt salt og tilsmagning. Hovedretten, svinekæbe, var druknet i en alt for dominerende syrlig sauce, som ligeledes savnede balance og krydring. Oven i det blev der hældt endnu en stor klat sauce på retten, hvilket overdøvede smagen fuldstændigt. Tilbehøret bidrog desværre ikke med noget nævneværdigt, da det også manglede smag. Desserten bestod af en stor klump pære, som var tæt på smagsløs og ikke tilført nogen form for dybde eller nuancer. Alt i alt en skuffende madoplevelse. Jeg har forståelse for, at en menu til 299 kr. sætter visse begrænsninger, men på en Århusiansk institution som Dauphine burde man forvente mere – både i smag og udførelse. Vinmenuen var dog et positivt indslag og fint afstemt.

11/03/2025: I was out with one of my colleagues and we decided to go get some good coffee. Unfortunately most of the restaurants in the area were either too expensive or just closed. We walked by this restaurant and we took a glimpse of what it looked like on the inside. Since we were very tired of walking and the weather outside wasn't the most pleasant, we decided to just go in. At first we hesitated because by the looks of it we thought it would be another one of those very expensive restaurants. We were greeted by a lady that also walked us to our table. She was also trying to speak her best English so we could understand each other. We had trouble with reading the menu and we asked for one in English so please keep this in mind if you are a tourist that is planning on going to this restaurant. We ordered tea, Irish coffee and an apple pie. I was completely impressed when I saw how good the apple pie looked and my colleague said it was the best she had ever eaten. I honestly regret not getting one for myself too. I got the Irish coffee and at first glance it looked like a frappé. It was the first Irish coffee that I drank that was this intense. I legally enjoyed it and this time my colleague regretted not getting this kind of coffee too. Moral of the story: the food and drinks are so good that if you think about getting these, you should just do it. It's worth it. The lady that served us was very friendly and understanding. She tried her best to make sure we understand her. For example she had a bit of trouble trying to explain the kinds of tea that they have so she brought my colleague the whole box of tea so she can pick which one she likes. I thought it was sweet of her to do so and I really appreciate that she tried her best to explain things. We had a bit of trouble with the payment because she added one more thing to the check that we didn't order. It was a bit hard to fix the situation, but we got our money back and only paid for what we ordered. The atmosphere was so cozy and we kept staring at everything around us because to us it looked like some kind of museum. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for any tourists that want something good to eat or drink and that is not overpriced.

15/04/2025: We went at an unusual time for the country and the restaurant was open until eight and we enjoyed the room alone. There were 10 of us and we celebrated Gemma's birthday. Typical Danish food, good quality. The place is very nice and the service is very friendly.

04/04/2025: The pork was very dry and properly made in the oil fryer. Also had the Bøfsabdwich which was beautiful, the beef was perfect cooked but everything else was not great - the bun was hard, baconjam that didn’t do anything great and the brown gravy was good but not great. Homemade fried onions was great. Service was okay.

31/03/2025: Slow service - had to ask for a cocktail menu - then we had to go up to the bar to ask for a menu. The food was really boring - goat cheese salad consisted of two pieces of thinly sliced ​​baguette with a little warm goat cheese - boring salad with toasted walnuts and a few streaks of glace as dressing

11/01/2025: Fantastisk og imponerende vegansk bagværk. Bare ærgerligt at man skal nyde alt det lækre bagværk på lave skamler. Det ødelægger desværre nydelsen og hyggen.

04/01/2025: La comida era tan innovadora y tan increíblemente deliciosa. Jonas de Kaf estuvo sobresaliente. Él estaba tan bien informado, que nos dio tantos consejos interesantes de comida. Me gustó toda la experiencia. Sin duda volveré la próxima vez que esté en Copenhague.

02/04/2025: Unfortunately the prime location and atmosphere is not backed up by proper service. Bartenders are more busy chit chatting privately than serving their customers. Rude as hell.

29/03/2025: We picked the perfect day to visit this seaside restaurant by the pier—the sun was shining, and the venue’s large glass windows created a bright summer vibe. The spacious interior added to the relaxed atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a long meal by the water. They were running a shellfish festival deal, which we couldn’t pass up. Service was polite but not particularly remarkable, due to them feeling a bit rushed and confused during our visit, with a few mistakes to the order. That being said, the food more than made up for any service hiccups. The shellfish platter was incredible—a generous spread of shrimp, blue mussels, scallops, snow crab legs, along with delicious dips, fresh bread, and crispy fries on the side. Every bite was packed with fresh, oceanic flavors, and enjoying it while gazing out at the water made the experience even more special. While the service could be improved, the food and ambiance were top-notch. If you’re looking for a great seafood meal with a stunning seaside view, this place is definitely worth a visit!

22/03/2025: A nice cozy place with good service and smiling staff, however the space directly opposite the entrance is very cold, as it drafts violently when the door is opened.

20/02/2025: First night in Aarhus, speculative booking and a total triumph. Delicious food (to different steaks) and excellent service plus the best non alcoholic beer on tap (special effects by Brooklyn !). Thank you xxx
