19/11/2025: Not what it used to be (this review is 7 years old) Went back and have to say I stand by my old review unfortunately 😟 I had the roast pork from the menu. The sauce was thin, the potatoes were a bit overcooked, their otherwise homemade beets had way too much anise and their pork was dry, almost pulverizing to eat.

15/11/2025: Lousy Christmas lunch menu to say the least, and it wasn't cheap either. I've never in my life been served a roast with skin that was softer than the meat. They also forgot one of our servings. The staff is nice enough, and probably do their best with what they have available.

06/09/2025: Good and solid brunch menu including several items with chocolate. The chocolate-Hazelnut spread is absolutely delicious and so were the crepes. We had booked a table, but they didn't inform us, that we had to order at the counter... still the service was kind ad efficient.

12/08/2025: Central location, shop ok, toilet very clean and delicious. We were the only customers, and after ordering brunch at the cash register with coffee and a jug of water, it took 15 minutes before water and coffee arrived. The coffee tasted bitter and was one and a half. The water was with ice and ok. When the brunch arrived we were introduced to what it was and it was ok delicious, especially the truffle sausage and the pesto. The pancake with dark chocolate looked nice and delicious, but tasted a bit like it wasn't freshly made. The 3-4 people standing at the cash register/front kitchen were so busy talking that they didn't notice us leaving. In their defense, one of them came over when we had eaten the spread and said that we should just say if we wanted more water or bread. (without spread) All in all, a mediocre experience, hope others have had better luck

27/09/2025: I would give it 0 stars if possible! We went with a gift card and they served us stale food. Everything was HORRIBLE — the food was bad, the staff distant and unfriendly. They gave us an avocado as hard as a rock, SALMON WITH A BAD TASTE, the fruit portion was disgusting (3 pieces of old, bland pineapple), the tuna mousse was awful, straight out of the cheapest can of tuna in the country. The bread was RAW, damp, and terrible! The tables and chairs were dirty, and the staff didn’t even ask if we needed anything. They didn’t give us spoons to eat the yogurt or the cake (and the place wasn’t even crowded). It’s clear that the food quality is terrible, straight from a supermarket package that’s been sitting there for days.

27/09/2025: Very bad brunch. The avocado was completely unripe and hard. The salmon was clearly cheap salmon bought in a random supermarket with the cheapest shrimp on top. The tuna mousse didn't taste good either, and it was probably also mixed with the cheapest canned tuna. The fruit on top of the yogurt was wrinkled and not fresh. In addition, the tables and chairs were also dirty. The waiters didn't come and ask us if the food was okay. All in all, a bad brunch experience, where price and quality are not at all related.

17/04/2025: Skærtorsdags frokost i Ølhalle - bord bestilt for 3 mdr. siden - ingen plads før kl 14. Vi er kommet Ølhalle mange gange før. Første og forhåbentlig sidste gang blev vi forvist til baglokalet (slyngenstuen). Hvor man støder hovedet mod dørkarmen når man skal ned og hente mad, og selvom man er 177 cm. Derudover er akustikken helt vild dårlig når lokalet er fyldt. Man kan ikke høre sig selv tænke endsige hvad ens familie havde at berette. God betjening som altid - dog giver det nul mening (virker lidt som optrækkeri), man som gæst skal betale 399 kr. for smørrebrødsbordet fra kl 14 og “kun” 299 kr. før kl 14. Specielt når man for 3 mdr. siden ikke kunne vælge er bord før kl. 14. Deruover ervdesserten nu ekstra! - mener den (fx æblekage og lign) tidl. var inkluderet i prisen? Så samlet set var det en lidt for dyr fornøjelse for 4 voksne og 1 barn = 2600 kr. med øl og vand.

09/03/2025: En rigtig fed måde at opleve det klassiske frokostkøkken i DK. Her er alt lige fra en sildemad til hønsesalat og æggekage. Mums siger jeg bare 👍

16/06/2025: Nydelig mat! Veldig god carpaccio til forrett og en stor porsjon med perfekt tilberedt oksekjøtt til hovedrett. Crispy chips og en luftig bernaise som gjorde dette til en svært god opplevelse. Vi fikk også en god start med bobler og dansk flagg på bordet! Hyggelige priser og store porsjoner med mat.

14/06/2025: Maden var god, servicen og stemningen i top, priserne rimelige. Men akustikken var elendig og gjorde det svært at høre, hvad sidemanden sagde. Jeg kunne godt finde på at booke her igen, men så ville det være på en af de roligere dage… måske i dagstid.

09/10/2025: Disappointing experience Went to Anker to celebrate a birthday. We chose the steak and there was not one element of the dish that lived up to expectations. A boring and tough piece of meat. A sauce that mostly tasted of salt and bland French fries. And not even particularly cheap. I have subsequently spoken to several people who have had the same experience. Will never come back.

28/09/2025: Exceptional service from our waiter – truly a gem! Having enjoyed Fish & Chips many times in the UK, I can honestly say this was the best I’ve ever had. It was prepared to perfection by a highly talented Greek chef. A wonderful place with an amazing atmosphere, right by the harbour – absolutely worth a visit.

18/07/2025: Meget hyggelig café med fint udvalg. Laver mega god kaffe og en god aperol! Beliggenhed findes ikke bedre. Super søde personaler.

29/05/2025: Efter en længere vandretur ved fjorden, som startede og sluttede i Søndervig, gik vi ind her for at drikke kaffe og hvile benene. Vi havde lagt mærke til stedet ved turens begyndelse, da det ligger virkelig fint og hyggeligt i klinterne lige ved nedgangen til stranden. Da vejret var fint, startede vi med at sidde udenfor på den fine terrasse, men da det blev køligere, rykkede vi indenfor og bestilte et glas vin og snacks. Også indenfor er der rigtig fint og en hyggelig stemning, og vi sad godt ved vinduet med direkte udsigt til stranden og havet. Alt hvad vi fik serveret smagte godt, og så var betjeningen virkelig god - de mest søde og venlige unge mennesker, som var meget opmærksomme. Vi vil anbefale alle, der kommer på disse kanter, at slå sig ned her og nyde den gode stemning.

05/11/2025: I stayed for 2 days at this superb hotel, a 10/10 staff, very good food, clean rooms at a very good price for the quality, I recommend it wholeheartedly!

04/11/2025: Cozy hotel with a very tasteful interior, really nice room. We ate in the restaurant and it was super nice food and good service, I think it would be great to return in the summer when there are outdoor activities going on

11/10/2025: Unimpressive food and wine at Dining Week

08/10/2025: As instructed, we used the qr code to order our food. It said we'd be texted when it was ready, so we waited outside and took in the sights. After a long wait, but no text, we ventured inside to investigate. The kitchen we ordered from was roped off and dark. A rude employee told us to go past the rope, where we found our food sitting on a counter with no one around. Who knows how long it had been sitting there. We had to grab utensils off another table and wait another 10 min to get water at the bar. In hindsight we should have demanded a refund and not eaten the cold crappy food. Although, who would we have asked for it? It felt like a tourist trap. The 7 kitchen design seemed to make it so the employees all feel it's someone else's responsibility to help customers.

20/10/2025: Overall, a pleasant experience. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was good, though not particularly memorable. Portions were on the smaller side, and it still felt a bit expensive for what it was. A nice dinner, but not a place I’d go out of my way to visit again.

07/08/2025: - A disastrous experience! I had the absolute worst experience at Restaurant Dauphine ever! Rolf, the owner, was extremely rude and inattentive. I ordered a dish that I had been looking forward to for hours, but when the food arrived, it was cold and tasteless. I asked Rolf if I could have something else, and he replied with a shrug and a sour expression. The food was not only bad, but also presented in a way that looked like it had been thrown on the plate. I felt completely ignored by Rolf, who apparently had better things to do than serve the guests. I asked to speak to the manager, and after a long wait, someone came who didn't even apologize for the poor service. I didn't even get a discount or a free dessert, even though I told him about my bad experience. I will never ever set foot there again and will warn my friends and family about the poor service and food. Rolf really needs to work on his service and customer orientation! *Update:* I have not received any response from the restaurant or Rolf, even though I have contacted them several times. It just shows how little they care about their customers.
