25/08/2026: It was a nice experience and a fun way to round off our visit to Lego House, especially for kids. Ordering your meal using the Lego sets is a cute and creative idea, and it definitely adds some fun to the experience. However, considering how much this part is advertised, we were a little surprised by how small and quick the actual ordering experience was. In the end, you order, wait for your food, eat, and leave, so don’t expect the entire meal to be an interactive Lego experience (Remember, you booked a certain time slot). The staff was nice and helpful. The lemonades were truly amazing (try them!), and the food overall was good, although nothing particularly special. Some dishes we really enjoyed, while others weren’t really to our taste. The portions were definitely enough to leave us full, though. If it fits your budget, the restaurant is certainly worth trying once, particularly with children, as they will probably get the most out of the experience. But you’re also not missing an essential part of Lego House if you decide to skip it. You can easily bring your own food or grab something at the food court instead.

24/08/2026: This place is genuinely a 10/10!! Also just for adults, is amazing when a restaurant can turn into an entire experience. The service was amazing, they take it seriously. The way the restaurant is decorated also with all the Lego flowers on the wall is just so pleasing to look at. And not only to mention that the food is really good, the chicken with sesame was incredible. Definitely a must if you are in billund. You also pay a deposit but at the end they discount it from the entire bill.

11/10/2026: The restaurant was located directly opposite our accommodation and caught our attention as soon as we arrived. So, we went there on our first evening. A very warm and attentive waitress greeted us in Italian, and we got along famously with her. The vitello tonnato was absolutely delicious, as were the fish and the dessert! A restaurant we can highly recommend. A small but excellent menu and exceptionally warm service! We had a guest from New Zealand and came back again. Thank goodness we had a reservation; the restaurant was packed. It was another fantastic stay; the menu is varied and extensive. The waiter from Argentina was extremely attentive and friendly, and we had a wonderful time.

21/09/2026: Was there for 3 hours. In those 3 hours we only managed to get the appetizers. Unfortunately, the table was constantly refilled with bread and water, for which we then demanded extra payment. We left the restaurant a little after 9 pm, as we had small children to pick up. A discussion then arose about payment. At least 3 other tables also left the place due to the extreme wait. At the end of the day, nothing was said or an explanation was given. Can't give any stars as we barely got to taste the food.

07/06/2026: A nice location and hotel on the calm sea with a nice little beach. A good spot if you’re visiting the safari park nearby. Rooms are fine but my wife suffers from dust allergy which kicked in within minutes of entering the room. Restaurant is fine. The food is a bit out of the 90’s style and quite frankly overpriced. A nice spot to visit if you’re passing through.

17/10/2026: My experience at Tolbod Bodega was excellent! The roast pork was probably one of the best pork dishes I have ever eaten in my entire life. The quantity of food was large as well. It was amazing. The service was also the quickest I have ever seen. The food came out within one minute after I ordered! I couldn't believe how amazing this restaurant was. Lastly, the members of the restaurant were so friendly, nice and supportive. This is one of the best restaurants that I have been to until now. Thank you so much Tolbod Bodega!

26/09/2026: The restaurant is old and has its charm. We ordered two dishes: a minced meat patty (in the form of a hamburger) with an egg and fried onions, and some delicious pickled cucumbers—everything was tasty. The other dish was a smoked salmon toast with lettuce and asparagus. We also had a beer and water. The service was very friendly and welcoming. 😬 Price in Copenhagen: €67. Unfortunately, our phone died, so we didn't take a picture.

01/08/2026: They prioritize large groups without reservations over 4 people with reservations, even after being shown a table. Service is generally slow.

30/09/2026: A surprisingly unpleasant experience. The waiter seemed unhappy that we had come for breakfast with our two-and-a-half-year-old child. He explained that the chairs cost over €1,000 each and that our child was not allowed to sit on them. The rest of the breakfast was equally uncomfortable. We were made to feel as though we had shown up uninvited at someone's home rather than walked into a bistro as paying customers. The atmosphere was so unwelcoming that we decided to leave halfway through our meal. Would not recommend.

28/08/2026: Super cosy little urban spot on a corner of authentic old school Copenhagen district, Islands Brygge - with a twist of 21st century hipster style. Nice staff, good coffee, fresh brunch.

18/09/2026: A wonderful and cozy serving! Fun and cozy newly started restaurant manager and waiter colleague assisted the restaurant! Together they created a perfect atmosphere in the restaurant for a good evening! In addition, we got the restaurant's seasonal menu which was delicious! Our biggest off point for the evening was that we had allocated too little time to enjoy the whole experience! Big praise to the staff 🤩

19/08/2025: We stumbled upon “Café Apropos” on the evening of the 18th — the grand finale of our 8-day Danish road trip. And I do mean stumbled: it was 9:30 PM, we were running late, and desperately hunting for something to feed the kid. The place looked stylish and vaguely Parisian, so we thought, “Why not?” Well… the confusion began with the menu and only got worse from there. If this was meant to be a Parisian bistro, someone forgot to tell the kitchen. The kids’ chicken? Marinated in a spicy sauce — because nothing says “child-friendly” like a surprise kick of heat. Once we realized that, we swapped it for a delightfully thin hamburger tucked inside a hollow bun. Gourmet minimalism, perhaps? Meanwhile, the “tapas plate” featured jalapeños, tortilla sauce, and a few mystery items that defied identification. And the “Parisian steak”? Oh dear. It was a dry hamburger (dear “chef,” ever heard of beef fillet?) perched on a slice of yesterday’s bread, surrounded by random vegetables that added nothing but confusion — and later, stomach drama I won’t detail here out of mercy. The one bright spot? Our waitress. Cheerful, friendly, and just as baffled as we were when the kitchen insisted, “Yes, the baby chicken is marinated in spicy sauce — but just a little spicy!” Final verdict: charming decor, baffling food, and a culinary identity crisis (yes, including pasta with chicken). Proceed with caution — or better yet, don’t.

09/08/2026: There were two of us who had lunch there. I chose one of their burgers with fries. My friend chose 5 servings from their brunch. Everything tasted excellent. Five dishes from the brunch menu was really a lot of food. The burger was a good size and the fries were perfect. The service was top notch. Really friendly and accommodating staff. That's something we both really appreciate. The place can definitely be recommended.

01/06/2026: Overall good, a Nordic city hotel without great luxuries but it does the job. The breakfast was adequate; there wasn't everything, but I didn't miss anything. Good overall, nothing fancy.

15/09/2026: We were in the area on holiday and ate there twice. The food was very tasty, fresh, and beautifully presented. The smørrebrød are highly recommended. The prices are typical for Denmark. The restaurant is simple but clean. The staff were very friendly.

05/07/2026: Here you get real inn food and the decor is really cozy, just like at grandma's house. Unfortunately the food is not quite top notch and not at all for the price. The shooting star is absolutely fantastic and worth the price. The tartlet is good, but too expensive, you can eat 2. The fried pork is in varying condition, some are good, while others are dry. The potatoes are really good. The sauce was absolutely terrible, it was far too thick. I think we got 2 liters of sauce with almost no parsley in it. Could have made do with 1 liter of 'thick' sauce with a lot of parsley, which stuck to the pork and did not have to be cut out with a knife and fork. The waiter was really nice. 30/05/2026: Well, here we came 14 people and were going to have lunch.. Lovely food, nice people. BUT then they want 280kr for 2 jugs of water!!!! This is probably the craziest thing I've ever experienced.. not Danish water.. not bottled water, but tap water with ice.. it really takes the edge off such an experience... öv 20kr for them to throw a glass on the table and you can get half a glass of water. Despite having thrown 4,500+ kr
