18/01/2026: We passedby asked if we could have something to drink and maybe some bites. A young girl pointed to a corner where we could pick a table ourselves. After 15-20 minutes we left without any further contact with the waitresses. They never came by and we had a lot of neighbors with empty glasses and dirty tables. Upon leaving there where just three girls busy talking to eachother behind the cashier, that they didn't even notice us leaving.

19/08/2025: We stumbled upon “Café Apropos” on the evening of the 18th — the grand finale of our 8-day Danish road trip. And I do mean stumbled: it was 9:30 PM, we were running late, and desperately hunting for something to feed the kid. The place looked stylish and vaguely Parisian, so we thought, “Why not?” Well… the confusion began with the menu and only got worse from there. If this was meant to be a Parisian bistro, someone forgot to tell the kitchen. The kids’ chicken? Marinated in a spicy sauce — because nothing says “child-friendly” like a surprise kick of heat. Once we realized that, we swapped it for a delightfully thin hamburger tucked inside a hollow bun. Gourmet minimalism, perhaps? Meanwhile, the “tapas plate” featured jalapeños, tortilla sauce, and a few mystery items that defied identification. And the “Parisian steak”? Oh dear. It was a dry hamburger (dear “chef,” ever heard of beef fillet?) perched on a slice of yesterday’s bread, surrounded by random vegetables that added nothing but confusion — and later, stomach drama I won’t detail here out of mercy. The one bright spot? Our waitress. Cheerful, friendly, and just as baffled as we were when the kitchen insisted, “Yes, the baby chicken is marinated in spicy sauce — but just a little spicy!” Final verdict: charming decor, baffling food, and a culinary identity crisis (yes, including pasta with chicken). Proceed with caution — or better yet, don’t.

01/08/2025: Fint sted med venlig og god betjening. Brunchtallerknen var lækker, billig og absolut en gentagelse værd. Masser af lækkerier, frisk juice og kaffe for kr 150,- 😳👌🚀

01/06/2025: Maden (vi fik en BMO) og kaffen var rigtig god, og derfor vin jeg gerne komme igen. Men jeg er ked af den service vi fik. Vi sad ved et bord som ikke var tørret af og selvom vi havde spurgt om at rådner tørret af og pigerne gik forbi flere gange blev det ikke gjort. Da hun så kommer med vores bestilling siger vi igen at vi mangler at få bordet tørret af, hvortil hun snerper og siger jaja jeg skal nok gøre det. Så kommer hun med en klud efter vores mad er sat på bordet og tørrer det vredt af, rundt i kanterne, så bordet stadig er beskidt og der ligger krummer. Virkelig træls oplevelse. Det havde ikke taget mange minutter at tage det bord ad med det samme. Det var så beskidt at vi ikke kunne have hverken tlf eller arme på bordet.

03/08/2025: Friendly waiter welcomed us. 2 small “free” appetizers were served. Chicken souffle in delicious dressing, sashimi with sorbet. Haps haps! Then began a fantastic journey through a 7 course menu. Just the smell of each dish that was served was amazing. The appearance was a pure delight. The taste was so adapted that you could taste all the ingredients in the dish - the salt and pepper were not necessary. Great to know this art - to adapt to everyone's taste buds. Because it is an art! So 5 ⭐️ from us and clearly to you out there. Have a Bacchus and enjoy it, just enjoy it!

02/08/2025: Lovely evening in good company. The male waiter was however very busy changing our dishes a little too quickly. He was not present and not very hospitable. The young man who presented our dishes was to U.G Before we had even finished, the male waiter came with our bill, and we had to point out that we were not finished, and had not ordered payment. That service is not okay when you pay almost 3,000 kr for an evening. We were there on August 2, 2025 The food was absolutely fantastic.

16/01/2026: Super cozy place down by the water, where you can enjoy coffee or light meals with a view of the marina. The atmosphere is relaxed, and it's a perfect stop on a walk along the harbor.

07/01/2026: Very cozy place, where we came into the warmth on a cold day, had hot cocoa with whipped cream and could look out over the water and the harbor while the boat rocked a little every time people got on the boat.

25/11/2025: Ordering went ok, but the waiter walked past the kitchen several times after the kitchen had put the food on the counter and rang the bell. After 5 minutes the chef rang again and only 3 minutes later we got the food. The fries were good

09/11/2025: As always, absolutely perfect 👌🏻 Really delicious open sandwiches. Cozy café atmosphere. Sweet and friendly service. I can only recommend this place…. 👏🏻

06/12/2025: Ordering the large menu for 500kr: The starters: Their octopus salad and tartare were excellent, but nothing flashy. And the rest of the servings were mediocre to redundant. The bread served with it is also irrelevant. A little dry "feels old" bread and actually without anything. No oil or anything, unless you ask, as it is not a custom to do this. Who eats dry bread without anything? The main courses: Some risotto and pasta and fish. The risotto can be bought in net and heated up to the same expertise, the pasta you have to go and eat at a real pasta restaurant and the fish was okay, but again something that should just be higher level, when you are registered for so many possibilities for Michelin stars. Dessert: Since I couldn't stand hazelnuts, I got a different dessert and that meant that instead of a Ferrero Rocher-like dessert, I got a frozen apple in a bowl - by God it was worse than baby food in a jar, wow.. Can't be recommended in any way, unfortunately

20/03/2026: I got a huge tartlet and a steak sandwich. The tartlet was lukewarm and seemed far from something that had been properly heated up - and at that price, you would expect something more filling consisting of asparagus and chicken. - it tasted fine. The steak sandwich was a cold pleasure. It was close to lukewarm in the middle and otherwise cold and the sauce congealed. We sat right in front of the kitchen hatch and could follow the work process which seemed somewhat unprofessional and lack of cooperation. One thing that was repeated was that the food stood by the window for a looooong time while the chef was loudly finishing the food, for example assembling the burger. He waded back and forth to the window and at one point I saw a bowl of potatoes standing in the window for over 5 minutes - so it is clear that the food has time to get cold. We also got pork cheeks, which could easily have been hotter. So a piece of advice to the chef - Be at work when you're at work and keep private conversations to yourself when you're serving. And don't wear a hat when you're working in the kitchen - it looks sloppy. The waiters did a good job 😄

13/12/2025: Very mid food considering the price point. Was not asked how I wanted my meet cooked, strange when ordering a steak. Also had to wait super long for any drinks we ordered, with some people in the same company getting them way before others. The cocktails did not impress, very watered down. Also a bit strange to be seated at three different tables when booking as a larger group of people. Staff was very friendly though, which was the only good aspect of this restaurant experience.

25/02/2026: I was down there in the morning and had their brunch with some friends. It was really nice. Good atmosphere, nice service and the food tasted really good. It's definitely a place I'd like to come back to.

10/11/2025: Fantastic experience. The food was SO delicious. The atmosphere was just what we had hoped for. It was simply so cozy and especially here at Christmas time. We received absolutely fantastic service. I didn't get his name, but he was so sweet. Har was present around the table enough and we got a good story about his career in the profession. Great experience. We will be back!

02/12/2025: Cozy place, very small evening menu with lots of spelling mistakes, unspecified dishes and quite overpriced. I got an Asian style burger and paid 139 kr for a small brioche bun, small unsalted steak and some green crap. It wasn't because I was terribly hungry when I came, but I wasn't full when I left.
