07/02/2025: My wife is the best cook ever!! so when she is impressed by a dish in a restaurant it means they did an excellent job!! Located in a little plaza in the heart of Østrebro, this place has a great atmosphere and outstanding service which really fits with the slow food concept. Given that we are only a few days away from Xmas we decided to try to special “Duck confit”, which was delicious. Not to miss the dessert sampler!!! We are definitely going back…..

31/01/2025: Fantastic little place with home made open sandwiches, interesting alcohol free IPA and a tasty coffee with indulgent chocolate balls to chase it down. Calm, relaxed. A great find.

10/02/2025: No. 3 today d. 10/2-25 Top service and delicious food. The only thing to complain about, which was also a problem last time.. are the chairs in the restaurant. They are so AWFUL to sit on. I normally build and get sore quickly. Therefore, you automatically do not want to sit and enjoy the extra time with a cocktail or more wine. Get those chairs replaced! And also applies to those chairs out front in the summer.. or add a cushion. It means a lot! :-)

20/03/2025: Good food but it was saturday and the place was crowded. We had booked two chairs in a large table that we shared with other bookings...I had to stand up three times while I was having my brunch because the people could not reach their place without interrupting me and the others. They could not have their seat also because the other table was so closed to ours. Good food ( as many other places in Kobenhavn). Good location. Regular price. Bad service. It was my experience

13/04/2025: stumbled upon this restaurant to get a proper traditional danish food before i leave copenhagen, what took me by surprise was the brunede kartofler (danish caramelised potatoes) they’re a bit chewy and sweet, which balance nicely with the savoury flæskesteg (danish roast pork)!! the waiters were very knowledgeable about the food and one of them has immaculate humour, the vibe is very cozy.

04/04/2025: Really good Danish food. Prepared exactly as it should be, even if the potatoes with skins didn't go over at mum's house 😀 And fantastic personal service.

22/03/2025: Til arrangement med 45 mennesker. Kedelig mad der ikke smagte af meget. Tør kylling. De glemte at lave og servere hotdogs som var bestilt som “skrub af mad”, så det fik vi aldrig. Omgivelserne er flotte.

06/02/2025: Vi holdte vores bryllup på Herthadalen i januar, og blev viet på stedet. Det fantastiske personale var søde og professionelle, og både receptionsmaden, og festmiddagen var veltilberedt i årstidens ånd.

08/03/2025: Update 2025 Better taste than last time. However, the promise of a vegetarian menu is still just the same menu without meat and at the same price. It makes the experience soft, and the main course of vegetables with sauce. That was it. We call it what they say. 2023 Really nice place with good chairs and nice service. We then amicably asked for the other table than the one wedged against the kitchen and the smell of roast pork. It couldn't be done even though we could see three empty withdrawn tables all evening. It is not satisfactory that a vegetarian menu is simply the menu without meat but replaced by a grilled vegetable. The flavors in the food seemed generally inharmonious. Main course too salty and too soft in soft. The dessert sour with sour. Other guests had the same opinion, but said that the menu can fluctuate. So maybe it's better another time. We're not sure we'll try again.

05/03/2025: Fantastisk restaurant, hvor alt bare var perfekt. Vi fik tre retter med tilhørende vinmenu. Alle retter var fine og det samme var vinen, der passede så fint til maden. Brød og vand blev serveret til og fyldt op igen "automatisk". Kan kun anbefale dette sted😊

09/03/2025: First impression was a bit dingy, it seemed more like a bar than a restaurant. Drinks and food took quite a long time, even though the place wasn't full. We waited about 15 minutes for the drinks and 50 minutes for the food, which is definitely too long. The food was OK. But the price-performance ratio is not right. About €20 for a very thin pizza with few toppings and a small beer for €6, that just doesn't fit.

13/02/2025: Yesterday, besides a fantastic meal, I had the great pleasure of experiencing how an amazing staff team can solve a difficult situation, when the online ordering system went down in the middle of rush hour. Usually you order via a qr code connected to your table number, but that system failed yesterday, which was a challenge for the staff as well as guests, as the restaurant was buzzing busy. But, the staff handled the situation so well, while continuously providing an amazing customer service. Cudos to the young lady who took our order and was extremely kind to me and my friend, when I had mistaken their venue here on Vesterbro with the one on Nørrebro; you were absolutely awesome! Oh, we had the tartare, stracciatella and the burrata pizza, and I recommend them all!

07/04/2025: The surroundings were a bit close and the acoustics not the best. But the food was insanely well composed, delicate and lovely. It was informal, but well thought out and delicious. Combined with wine that just played and an exceptionally sweet and service minded waiter. And then at a price most people can agree on. Warm recommendation.

29/03/2025: We were not impressed. We chose the Full Pondus menu with five courses. Not one of the dishes seemed balanced in terms of flavors. Far too much acid in everything. The chicken with mushrooms and ramson sauce was almost inedible. The best thing was the snacks and the dessert. In addition, the service was really slow and not particularly on top, as we waited 50 minutes to get snacks. I think we hit Pondus on an off day

16/04/2025: Brunch is nice, nothing special. The place has a fantastic location. (There’s the beach on the other side of the road). Dog friendly. Chicken and bacon salad is a huge portion. They serve lovely fresh rolls. We like the place for the location mostly. Their apple pie is the best!

16/04/2025: It is a lovely restaurant with a view of the water and Bus 23 right at the door. You can sit both outside and indoors. Had Butter chicken which was a bit boring but nice enough. A rhubarb lemonade which was really delicious.

29/03/2025: Nice premises, really good Moules frites, the cleaning was very poor, the food in the photo was on the table for more than 1.5 hours after the guests left

22/03/2025: We visited Madklubben in connection with Strictly Ballroom in Falkoner Salen. From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcome. The food tasted great and our server Ida contributed with great joy, commitment and professionalism to our evening starting perfectly. Huge thanks to Ida for her friendly nature and not least a big thank you to the kitchen for the delicious food. We will definitely be back.

09/03/2025: The boat café at Marselisborg Harbor is a real gem for those who love cozy surroundings, good food and a unique atmosphere. Located on the old ferry "Sorte Louis", the café cradles calmly on the water and offers guests an incomparable view of the harbor - a perfect place for a relaxing moment away from the noise of the city.

28/03/2025: Great little hotel with a great breakfast overlooking the bay. Be aware of parking, there are certain times of the day when it is time limited.

15/03/2025: Come in and get a shooting star. It was ok but not something we will drive for.
