20/10/2026: Fantastically lovely and cozy beer bar. With a good and exciting selection. There is the option to sit outside, with a lovely view of the lakes. And of course you can also sit indoors in some cozy surroundings.

19/08/2026: Fantastic gin bar. Huge selection and the largest menu/drinks card I've ever seen. Delicious, flavorful Gin and Tonic drinks. We didn't get any food, so not reviewing.

30/07/2026: Really nice place where we had Brunch on a stand 3 floors. Really delicious homemade food and freshly baked buns and cake at a nice price. It's not the last time we eat there. Coffee and tea for 30 kroner refill

04/10/2026: A restaurant in the higher price range, but the quality of the food certainly follows suit. The highlight of the menu was undoubtedly the Karl Johan apple slices, which can be highly recommended if you are looking for a slightly different and complete culinary experience. The ribeye was also absolutely sumptuous – tender, juicy and extremely tasty. The service was impeccable, and when we visited the restaurant on Friday evening, there was a cozy and festive atmosphere, which contributed to the good experience. The only thing I can really put my finger on is the cocktails. At 145 kr. each, I don't think they quite live up to the price, as in my opinion they primarily taste of vodka. All in all, an excellent place to spend a good evening if you appreciate both high-quality food and a lively atmosphere.

23/10/2026: Nice Caesar salad but overpriced, I don't understand it at all - 179 kr..! Delicious milkshake though. The waiter forgot us several times and I considered leaving without paying.. but they were nice when you talked to them of course.

18/10/2026: I enjoyed a delicious hamburger with a thick patty and homemade fries. At the next table, they were enjoying a very tempting brunch. I might come back for a snack.

10/08/2026: Thurø Stuen is more of a cozy, older-style pub than a classic restaurant. The value for money is excellent: the portions are very generous, and the food was consistently delicious – honest, traditional German cuisine at its best! The staff was consistently friendly, and everything was spotless. The menu is manageable (around three children's menus and six or seven main courses), which is perfectly adequate. Our only, but significant, criticism: upon entering, you immediately notice the smell of smoking. This is a real drawback if you're traveling with children. If you can overlook this, you'll get good, honest food for your money.
