16/06/2025: På listen over jazzsteder i København finder man ikke Hvide Lam, som er det eneste sted i byen, som præsenterer jazz alle ugens dage, og har har gjort det i mere end 30 år. Her finder man både unge løver og kendte jazzfolk i løbet af ugen i forskellige konstellationer. Et sted, som både frekventeres af et stampublikum, unge i byen og turister, som tilfældigt kommer forbi. Uformel atmosfære, hvor man hurtigt kommer i snak med andre i lokalet og er tæt på musikken. Hvide Lam er et af byens ældste værtshuse, som har eksisteret lige siden Københavns borbardement i 1807. Lammet er ikke rygefrit område.

04/10/2025: Service was friendly but dull and not that attentive (no refills on water or dirty plates taken away after we had eaten). The food took way too long and when it finally arrived the steak was overcooked, not medium (and not particularly tasty by the way and the bun was overheated/dry/hard), and for 198,- for a burger I expect a lot more. The beer was okay and on a warm summer day outside in their courtyard wouldn't be a bad idea.

11/08/2025: Qu’est ce que nous avons bien fait de nous y arrêter par hasard! En effet, l’ambiance rétro est très sympa et les plats que nous avons testés étaient absolument délicieux. En plus pour une addition raisonnable pour Copenhague. Donc si vous avez l’occasion, testez le Kalaset.

07/10/2025: Their brewer's legs were really worthless. Tasted steamed and boiled and came to the table max 10 minutes after we ordered. Pure discount

21/09/2025: Aarhus's wildest gin bar. Huge selection of gin, tonic and various things to mix with gin. The place itself has many cozy corners. There is usually a subdued and cozy atmosphere where it is possible to talk.

01/08/2025: Fint sted med venlig og god betjening. Brunchtallerknen var lækker, billig og absolut en gentagelse værd. Masser af lækkerier, frisk juice og kaffe for kr 150,- 😳👌🚀

01/06/2025: Maden (vi fik en BMO) og kaffen var rigtig god, og derfor vin jeg gerne komme igen. Men jeg er ked af den service vi fik. Vi sad ved et bord som ikke var tørret af og selvom vi havde spurgt om at rådner tørret af og pigerne gik forbi flere gange blev det ikke gjort. Da hun så kommer med vores bestilling siger vi igen at vi mangler at få bordet tørret af, hvortil hun snerper og siger jaja jeg skal nok gøre det. Så kommer hun med en klud efter vores mad er sat på bordet og tørrer det vredt af, rundt i kanterne, så bordet stadig er beskidt og der ligger krummer. Virkelig træls oplevelse. Det havde ikke taget mange minutter at tage det bord ad med det samme. Det var så beskidt at vi ikke kunne have hverken tlf eller arme på bordet.

12/10/2025: The portion of the drinks were too small for the price.. The nachos were overloaded with chicken cubes, it was too much! Overall it was a great location to sit and chill.

29/09/2025: They were running around a lot, but apparently forgot about our table, so we ended up just having a cup of coffee and leaving.

25/09/2025: This is a really nice place. I stayed in Aalborg for one and half weeks and tried different dining spots, and I really liked this one. It's quite good.

09/09/2025: Really slow service, waited 3 kvater for a keg of beer and 5 kvater in total for the food, would have also had coffee and dessert but thought we would have to wait another hour and the coffee would be cold before the dessert

22/09/2025: Our favorite place in Aarhus. You sit like a herring in a barrel, there is talk, music and movement in it. Small tables, little space and lots of noise. After a few good drinks and the wonderful atmosphere from the staff, it often happens that everyone talks to each other across the tables, music and staff. Relaxed, honest, loving and we think it's fun. If you like quiet and nice restaurants with plenty of space and comfortable chairs, you probably shouldn't come here. Unless you want to try something different and more fun ;-)

13/07/2025: I walked in and as soon as I did, I saw a controversial political opinion loudly in my face put up on the table so customers see it right as they walk in. This cafe clearly discriminates and judges anyone who they disagree with. A very divisive and fascist approach which excludes others. Just serve your coffee, pastries, and keep your judgmental opinions to yourself.

27/09/2025: Utter rubbish, overpriced slices of bread with frozen deep fried stinky old fish or old cold cuts. Can’t believe that this place is allowed to survive in a competitive market. It’s probably all the tourists that get screwed with the promise of traditional danish food, which is already in the bottom 5th percentile worldwide of desirable traditional meals.

09/08/2025: Amazing place with a down to earth atmosphere and a great whiskey-selection. I was able to taste a lot of great bottles in 1cl amounts - thanks and cheers to you, jenny!😊🥃. If you are in copenhagen and love whiskey, don't miss this place!
