28/08/2026: Bad chicken bacon sandwich My wife had ordered a chicken bacon sandwich. The chicken was so dry and sad, as if it had been sitting out for a long time, then warmed up in a microwave (mostly reminded me of dried klipfish). We told the waiter that it was inedible (and that we didn't want a new one). He said he hoped the beer tasted good. I said he could have offered a cup of coffee as compensation, but he apologized that he was new, still without offering a cup of coffee.....

29/09/2026: We ate brunch buffet here on a Sunday. There was a lot to choose from, eggs, bacon, beans, salmon toast, tartlets, buns and various spreads, cakes etc. etc. Drinks are not included in the price. Recommended

12/10/2026: Eggs benny: - Really good poached eggs - Hollandaise tasted almost only of vinegar - Banana bread should have been regular bread - it was way too mushy - Good amount of food for the money Lemonade - Nice with the option to choose with or without soda (would be nice if it was on the menu) - Seemed like it was made with lime (should be on the menu) - Incredibly sweet, not a hint of acid you would expect from lemonade. Tasted mostly like lime syrup - Way too little liquid, a little too much ice Smørrebrød - Really good fried fish - Good and lots of shrimp - Good amount of food for the money Service - Quick and efficient

11/09/2026: We had a delicious meal. The menu is rather small, but what is on it is good and well-presented — I prefer a limited selection that is well executed rather than an endless menu. The service was friendly and attentive, and for those who do not speak Danish, an English menu is also available. A nice place in Aarhus where we enjoyed our meal.

31/08/2026: This place is phenomenal. The food was fantastic, the vibe is perfect, and they are child friendly. There is a play corner for the kids. We had the Korean chicken sandwich which had super crispy breading. The kids had pancakes which were delicious. I also have a delicious cappuccino. Highly recommend!

23/08/2026: Terrible service! The waitress brought the hot chocolate and, while unloading it on the table, spilled almost half the cup. She then left the half-empty cup on the completely full saucer, slapped a few napkins on the table, and left. When I asked if she could please bring another hot chocolate, she only brought a new saucer. Not acceptable when you've paid €7 for a cup.

12/08/2026: The atmosphere of this place is indeed a little cold and detached, visitors sit around thoughtfully smoking into ashtrays, the old paintings on the walls are covered in a nicotine patina as are the burgundy velvet walls and all of this is pretty charming. Even the smell in the men’s toilet, which, despite that, looks absolutely spotless what makes feel it as an intended part of the whole experience: a journey back in time to the beginning of 20th century, when everything was apparently supposed to be like this: smoke-stained walls, art nouveau patterned tiles, a piss-soaked bathroom, mysterious visitors and bartenders who aren’t particularly interested in being nice, as people are expecting today, and simply do their job. It’s a pretty honest atmosphere of the place, and five stars from me.

13/07/2026: Did not have food, but food was available. Staff was very nice. Good vibes, fun music. They allow dogs inside. Good selection of drinks!
